English Tradition, A. Wright and Son Barlow Knife

- Today we take a look at a great looking traditional English Barlow knife. This English Barlow from A. Wright and son Sheffield, was a gift from @paddyspotatopeelers2154
This Barlow has a 3.5 in blade and a 2.75 in blade making it a UK legal carry. The Rosewood covers look fantastic and the action is crisp and snappy.

The only places I know how to get my hands on one as an american are topshelf, james company, penknives scissors(a wrights official website), twisted assisted(limited runs specialty scales)

Love the green slip glad to see another reviewer show casing UK made knives, the Sheffield makers went through a bad period when quality went down now they are making well put together knives with good fit and finish, back in the day Sheffield was the cutlery capital of the world honourable mention to Solingen in Germany.😁

Acquired the clipped Barlow a few months ago. Someone - perhaps Paddy added the swedge. I agree, the rosewood is very nice. Great video 👍

Great video!! That one is definitely put together well. I found a Stag on in C70 CS on AAPK but it's not put together as well as the one you have there. They definitely are nail breakers with gator bite!! Thanks for sharing!!
I also used to have a base model with carbon and rosewood in the past. Although I loved it, it wasn’t finished nearly as nicely as this one. Makes me want more🔥. Thanks for watching big Jerry🙏 I’m gonna look to see if you made a video on that stag Barlow, I bet you did.

Excellent knives and slip. I have both the barlow and etrick. I have a new and old lambsfoot and and can say that the newer one is way better. Ashley is doing fantastic stuff it seem. They make some barlows for twisted assisted now. Not sure if they will ship to you though.
