Moving to Deland vs Sanford, Florida (Which is better?)

Could the income be higher and Deland because there’s a Stetson University and maybe the people that worked there in the professors salaries work into that just guessing

That's a possibility. There's also probably more retirees in Deland too.

The demographics are just different. While there are many high income individuals in Sanford, there is also a higher percentage of low income individuals which brings the average down. The average age tends to trend younger while DeLand trends older. There are more young professionals with relatively low incomes in Sanford than DeLand.
