If I was able to make it to the semis at the Oly trials at 41, I'd be competing too! What do I have to lose?!

It's fine to be in shape and want to prove it well into your 40s. Admirable, and good to have the esteem to pit yourself against much younger and injury-free competitors. But there is no chance that a 40 something is going to be superior to a 25 year old in the same sport. Has never happened in any sport with millions of competitors, never.

She’s right about sports science getting better. Shelly is in her late 30s still running sub 11 and ran her best times after having a child. Oksana Chusovitina is a gymnast that went to every Olympics since 1992 and she had a child in 1999, and she learned and competed the “death vault” in 2016. One of the hardest skills in the sport. Even Simone Biles never dared to attempt that vault. And she’s in her upper 20s and dominating in a sport that used to be dominated by girls 10 years younger than her.

Glad she can stay in condition to actually qualify at 41 years old. But, let the young ones get their spotlight now Lolo...

I use to build courses in my yard and practice the entire day for fun I lived it loved it and boy I tell you competitions were a lesson in barbarism I’m like this isn’t a sport 🤷‍♀️ I have records I’m sure they covered up and replaced them with idiot records who were someone’s friend truly

It makes me laugh now when I look back we had such a bizarre odd looking yard with obstacles and different events everywhere I created. I hope she sleighs good luck to you lady

They push people out who are even better thus is no surprise to me some are truly athletes others are a sham who are nothin more than nasty words it’s even obvious their not athletes and it’s very real this phenomenon a good man or women may be kept down. I competed they use to continently not call me for my qualifying heats and not put me on the line ups they play dirty anyways I still sleighed they didn’t like it believe that I know

Sad, the hate in your heart. Plus your ignorance, she is a three time Olympic Athlete. What have you done, except criticize, it’s embarrassing to yourself.
