Enhanced by two distinct steaming processes, Small Batch: Steamworks explores the deep, natural sweetness of flue-cured leaf, presenting a spectrum of six top-tier, Old Belt Red Virginia grades - ranging from deep Mahogany to brighter Lemon/Orange leaf - in unsteamed, partially steamed, and blackened formats. That rich, mature flavor is deepened further by a selection of rare, heirloom Oriental grades - including 2005 Black Sea Sokhoum, 2005 Izmir, and 2006 Katerini - and pure St. James Perique from 31 Farms, resulting in an incredibly complex and exceptionally slow-burning Virginia/Oriental/Perique flake unlike anything else in our portfolio.
