- I'm going to show you one of my favorite lures to fish with from the bank, for whatever bites. These Panther Martins are deadly for multiple species, but I'm going to show you a hack that makes them even more deadly. I'm going to show you what I love about these inline spinners, and what I don't like about them, in a quick review.

Thanks for this. Super helpful.
You're welcome. Glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for the hack, will definitely try this waxies.
No problem. It's a good one. Went fishing with some company and they just couldn't understand how I got my limit of trout so quickly.
Awesome hack. I'm trying this later today. Fishing has been pretty bad this season here in upstate NY. I fish the Mohawk river and it has been hit and miss. Catfishing at night is always good but trying to fill my freezer with other species too. Only can eat so much smoked catfish and fried catfish lol.
Hopefully it gets you some fish. Yeah, there is definitely only so much cat fish you can eat. Does that river have walleye? That's by far my favorite eating fish.
@@BloodKnotAngling Yeah we have decent walleye population. Best time for them is fall when they drain the lock system, so much easier to catch lol. Really like the back and fourth brother. Have a great day
The black and red one has been a killer for me !
They are great.
Thanks. Just bought 2 different colors of waxies.. 🤞🏽
Nice video bro
Thanks
They advertise the Panther to not need a swivel. Is this true?
Do you have an extra weight on top of the panther martin so it allows you to cast farther?
FYI, You were using a spinning reel rather than a spincast reel (e.g., Zebco 33).
You are correct my friend. Thanks. I don't know why I said that.
Great video!! What’s your favorite oz? Is it #4 that you were using?
They are #6, roughly 1/4 oz. That's my favorite size to use for walleye, and bass, but I've caught down to bluegill, up to 30 in catfish with them. I don't target cats with them, but they will strike them. If I'm targeting crappie and bluegill with them, I drop down a size, sometimes 2. If I'm going for pike or musky, I got up to the biggest size.
@@BloodKnotAngling thanks so much 😀
Subscribe to my boy! This man fishes more then anyone I know and almost always pulls in a good haul.
Thanks buddy.
Why mono over floral?
Also you can change the hooks on the PMs! I cut the stock one off with my drum-ell tool then use a very small snap ring! (for a very small snap ring pliers) look to jewelry supply it’ll make the job way easier in fact it makes it possible! All that’s left is your choice of hooks! Believe me it works can’t say what hooks l actually use that part’s for y’all to figure out LOL!
Recommended top 3 colors to start Panther Martin collection? White, Black, Chartreuse? Silver, Bronze, Multicolored blade?
If I was going to pick 3 colors. FishSeeUV™ Marabou Ch/Orange/Blue, minnow undressed, and Salamander gold, are normally the first 3 I'm reaching for in my box, minnow gets your clear water realistic lighter color covered. The Salamander gold will cover your stained colored waters and your fishuvsee will cover your low light situations. If you're picking 3 colors of anything, those are the 3 kind of combos you want to cover realistic, dark, and a bright vivid color. I do the same thing with almost every lure if I'm only grabbing a couple. Hope this helps.
The hook is replaceable it just takes a lot of time and some small pliers. The panther martin has to be the #1 all around lure!
Spinning reel, notspincast. Spincast reels sit on top of the rod and have a pushbutton for casting.
Yea, I made a mistake. Whoops, happens. I knew what I was trying to say lol
😢
Thanks for watching.
spinner with a barrel swivel....nah
I don’t use one but it helps with line twists
