Beautiful engines but my god that sound set needs to be changed, it's the exact same thing as the E8s they made a few years ago. They should've at least changed the horn or something to set these apart. And that price is ridiculous, I mean even $850 or so is crazy. I thought about getting the CB&Q and GN ones but not anymore. Lionel needs to have better sounds and definitely lower prices, this is absolutely out of hand. OK, my rant is over, at least the paint scheme is good, those Seaboard colors really pop!

I'd buy it but there's no model of this one for the UP or the Santa Fe and also I can't afford it.

Just AA units so far. Hopefully they make some in the next catalog.

Yup certain diesels do smoke. Manufacturers are starting to add them as a new feature

I agree, the sounds are almost all the same for all engines, they need to mix it up.
