Totally agree! We make these vests in the Blaze Orange as you mentioned. The body of the harness has been outfitted with flotation assist while the chest/shoulder straps are outfitted with spike resistant Kevlar to prevent punctures from sharp sticks, barbed wire fences, etc. Its the perfect combo for many high drive hunting dogs.
fell in love instantly. not a professional in any sense, but growing up in toronto ive seen enough dogs be attacked without cause. so even something like this without any plates in it would be more than enough of a deterrent for city life.
Thank you for reaching out! You are able to get the StreetFighter vest with or without armour. All the armour panels can be easily removed from the harness at any time. If you get the harness without any armour panels it will come with .25" flotation assist panels (alot of our SAR units running the StreetFighter utilize this option). Since the panels are removable, armour can always be added or upgraded at a later date!
Totally understand where you are coming from. We have to remember the balance between mobility and comfort along with too much weight and coverage. Maintaining the K9's safety, work drive and combat effectiveness should be the highest priority. Too much Armour coverage can and will result in mobility issues, fatigue and will eventually result the K9 being completely ineffective and could result in potential harm to the K9, the handler and anyone else involved in said operation. Thanks for the comment!!
This video is very appeasing. These beautiful dogs who work so hard deserve the same protection their human officers have. ✌♥️🇨🇦
If we as a society allow our military and law enforcement to use dogs then we should absolutely stump up for the best kit for their defense
Agreed! They are a huge benefit to the force and to the public. We give body armour to the officers, we absolutely should be providing it to the K9's.
Also hunting dogs could use these just make it blaze orange and many harness' can carry ammunition so it would protect the dog and benefit the hunter.

@@specops1903 That's correct. The vest is $500 with no armour, $1550 with armour.
@@TomahawkHorner okay got it thank you
@@lofdefence what's the difference between all the different armors
Awesome vest. Too much monies for esthetic reasons to me. Def seems like an amazing product for its intended purpose.
$550
This armor is way way too small sure it covers vital areas but if you slash his neck or legs then what? That armor is a fail
