Could the sides or the top be wrapped with wrapping paper before adding the candy? I always think these candy cakes or bouquets are awesome. Thank you for sharing this.

You really cannot even see the background once you add the candy so it is an extra step and you would need to make sure it is really tight so the candy does not fall off. Enjoy making your own and thanks for watching.

Hello, yes, that would be a good idea. This is the first and only one I made and I wanted to try and keep the cost low because once I brought it there, it didn't last long......lol They ate the candy so fast and then the rest went in the trash but if you wanted to sell them, that would be a great idea!

Instead of making the base you could buy bases at dollar tree or arts snd crafts store.

I’m not real sure! I knew they were going to throw everything in the garbage after they ate the candy so that’s something to consider if you’re going to make this that you don’t want to spend money on something that will go in the trash. Good luck I hope that you find another creative way to do this.
