This looks incredible. You did some really cool stuff, especially with Node Controller. I have to say, though - I could barely tell it was Maya. Mountains? No ocean in sight? Crazy.
I don't know why or how, but I missed this. Looks awesome! I love the infrastructure that Japan has around train stations, and you perfectly represent that, time after time!
To be more specific: 1) It's the most creative use of Node Controller I've yet seen. Using it to make a multi-level parking deck using networks and to stretch the roads out around the station? Works beautifully. 2) The way you combine procedural objects to make all new buildings and structures is just staggering to me. The mixed office complex is astounding, the way you created multiple levels and covered up the obvious seams between the procedural objects. 3) The way you use networks is pure artistry. Not just the road networks, which get better and better with each Maya episode, but the pedestrian networks, including stairs and multi-level networks, the curb and decorative networks, etc. Nothing is wasted. I did have a question for you. How much of each build do you plan in advance, and how much do you do off camera, then repeat the build for the camera? It looks like you are building Maya in real time, and if so, that is just staggering. When I've been building Kapria Ore Mills, 90% of my build time has been experimenting with different P.O. combinations, restarting small areas, or fine adjustments!
Yeah, the artistry in Maya is just astounding. It's both an inspiration to my own build and very intimidating... I don't think I can build on this level. this consistently.
First a very nice city design, but if I may... I would like to ask which mod are you using to expand the roads? I aware of certain Mods and still looking for others. Thanks.
I've been waiting for a bullet train in this city. Finally! Also this is the first time I can say I've actually been somewhere in the city! I got off at Shin-Kobe last year after I realized I was on the wrong train lol
Right now I'm making a Japanese inspired city (but with a few differences.) This would be a good source of inspiration as well as ideas of my own. Hope It goes well.
Great but a little dissapointment cause I thought that you will build more shinkansen tracks and rail infrastructure instead of area in front of the station.

The city is just so beautiful
Cities skylines is truly a template for art.
I had lived in Kobe, so your work make me surprised because it is beautifully reproduced the station that I often used. Well done!
Really? I'm German but I have a friend in Kobe.
I love "Nunobiki-no-taki" Waterfall behind Shin-Kobe station .
Always a pleasure to see you work, combining a sense of aestetics with the ability to make the CS: Skylines engine do anything. Keep it up!
Top build! Music choice on this one was a perfect fit! Very nice!
Oh yes, the Palm is back! I was worried that the road trip videos of this city meant some kind of end to the series- but this is not so, thank God!
This looks incredible. You did some really cool stuff, especially with Node Controller. I have to say, though - I could barely tell it was Maya. Mountains? No ocean in sight? Crazy.
smashed it again Palm
That bus at the beginning tho... Insane breaking skillz
This is the most laborious Trainstation Build i´ve ever seen in Cities Skylines! Great work, it´s awesome . . .
This made me want to go back playing Cities Skylines. Amazing recreation as usual and top notch quality video.
I don't know why or how, but I missed this. Looks awesome! I love the infrastructure that Japan has around train stations, and you perfectly represent that, time after time!
An absolute work of art. After Citywokcitywall's Mars project, this is probably the best Cities Skylines creation I have ever seen.

This is so brilliant! congratulations
I like the music in this episode more than usual.
Hey palm is there a reason you know how cities are built so well or do you just have insane attention to detail?
It looks really similar to Shin-Kobe-Eki. Well done!
I've been waiting for a bullet train in this city. Finally!
Also this is the first time I can say I've actually been somewhere in the city! I got off at Shin-Kobe last year after I realized I was on the wrong train lol
I miss this series...it’s sooo good

your city is beautiful, I wish I could build like that
That shot at the end looks photorealistic tbh
What colour are your roads? I'd like to have them in my city aswell.

MAYA...?
I think this is like Shin-Kobe.
Is where Maya...?
(I think Maya(摩耶) is Maya Station(摩耶駅) in Kobe City)
Yes, this city is based on Kobe, which is pretty nice since Kobe was really hard to recreate in cities skyline
Are there any plans to release this?
เมืองสวยมากครับ
I watched a 24:03 minute video of you doing it. But I still don't know how you do what you do.
Meanwhile me fixing the road the whole day because traffic jam
