I miss this game and this channel. Unfortunately watching it just makes me sad. The town I live in is just inbred yokals who only like drinking and driving fast. Also the LGS here does more harm than good for the very few MTG fans. Time sell my cards I don't think I will be coming back. Enjoy this wonderful game, you're good guy professor.

This is sweet. I had to look up a bit of a primer on how to play before jumping in, but it's easy to pick up as a magic player and watching it in action is the best way to learn besides playing yourself.
FAB seems real fun! I know there are diff formats similar to magic, this one seems cool too. I might have to pick this up
I hope we see more bard heros in the future. I'd like to see one that's theater themed where it kinda works like Telkovossan and you can equip different "costume pieces" to your hero, but they buff action cards that are themed around theater stuff/different acts of a play.
Idk, just a random idea that would be interesting I thought.

I cannot figure out why someone took the most complicated and often problematic part of of magic (the stack) and decided to build an entire game purely around that mechanic. FaB was absolutely doomed to fail from the moment they thought if it.

Great product! Several of us picked up copies at our LGS and had a great time facing off with these new heroes. Well balanced and interesting decks for sure! More FAB UPF and CC content like this would be fantastic!

Magic, Hearthstone, now Flesh and Blood? Man’s got Range
My daughter and I figured out a way that the two of us can play this game. We take characters. She plays Melody. I play bravant and basically we shuffle up the professor's deck and randomly choose whom he attacks. He has 40 hit points. We have to kill him before he creates his entire Evo suit of doom and destroys us. We call it "Mad Scientist"
I might have to try this with my wife. It seems the only decks in this set that could go 1v1 are the prof and ninja deck.
Paladin and bard seem to need a full group to work well.

It works with prof because he gets attacks which can eventually target everyone so AOE damage can drain cards.
Building solo/coop automa for pvp games is so much fun ! :D

So happy to see Kyle being Kyle in this collab. Bought this set and it is absolutely amazing. I thought the Prof was just a Teklo reprint but he isn’t, and he plays so well even outside of Ultimate Pit Fight.

Bought this product as a first time FAB player. Glad this video came out because now I can reference it before I try and play with my friends who are also first timers. The only issue is finding 3 friends.

Hey, genuine curiosity, not trying to be a downer. But I just found it slow and boring. Like all of the decks did one thing and stuck to that one thing, there didn't seem to be much variation. I know this isn't exactly normal gameplay, so I am just wondering, as someone who seems to play it and love it, what about it? Do you love? Do decks usually play super linear like this? Also, why can't the knight player repair or replace his armor? It just felt like the helper should get a better bonus for helping protect other people at the table.
There were some gold lines this episode. The warm brown potion had me in stitches.

I truly love FaB. There are just so many things to gush about with this game, like the interactive back and forth gameplay, the beautiful card art, or the way Legend Story Studios manages to balance the needs of collectors while still making most cards relatively cheap to pick up, but the main reason I adore it is the community. I was driven away from FNMs by the 'gotcha' attitude of the players, where people would start a game with little to no chit chat, wait silently for you to make a mistake, and immediately pounce with a cry of "Judge!", hand rocketing into the air.
At my LGS that plays FaB, the attitude is that the game can be complicated, even pro players make mistakes, and we're just here to have fun playing a game together. The community feels so warm and welcoming, and I really value the new friends I've made and the times spent playing this great game with them.
For me, it's primarily the gameplay and the community, with a dash of LSS fanboying. The game is fun to play and rewards smart plays. The various classes feel very thematic and different to play. Every person I've met at an Armory event has been super nice and helpful. Experienced players are happy to help new people learn the game and always bring good vibes to the table. I have not once had a bad experience with a player at an event. I definitely can not say that regarding MTG events I've gone to. Finally Legend Story Studios is an underdog in the TCG world. Up until this year roughly 40 people worked for the company that makes FaB. It's an indie company of people who love TCG's and are passionate about making a great gaming experience for it's players. James White (the creator of FaB and Head of LSS) is great and clearly puts the game and player before profits. They swapped to 100% recyclable paper booter packs, which cost them more to produce, but they didn't jack the price of packs. They took on that cost and said it was the right thing to do. I can respect a company that doesn't want to squeeze every last dime out of their players.
Got Flesh and Blood from my buddy for Christmas. I didn’t understand what was going on when this video came out but I’m glad I got to come back and watch this because it was a great video!

kinda sucks my lgs refuses to stock Flesh and Blood, but they stock these wild and obscure TCG's that just sit on the shelf.
Ok less than 2 minutes in and I learn that there's Bards in F&B now. Time to immediately get back into this game.

I agree with prof about marvel. The armor becoming inconsequential CGI nonsense was literally just so they could constantly show the actors faces and was otherwise very stupid. Yet another A+ take by the award winning professor.

Just played this the other night. Anyone else noticed that LSS screwed up by letting the Hammer of Havenhold say “CHIVARLY” instead of “CHIVALRY”? 😂
Kinda wish the mechonologist equipment would be destroyed so they could be re-equipped/repaired. Might be too strong though. Just picked up Round The Table and will be working hard to make 3 friends to play with!

I’m pretty sure Kyle missed a chance to take out Prof - instead of sequencing his Leg Taps with the yellow first followed by the red for 3 + 5, he could have taken an additional card by attacking with the red first for 4 and then the yellow for also 4. Would have forced all cards from his hand at minimum, and prevented Prof from attacking with the Evo Upgrade from arsenal that turn.
As the video demonstrates, I've many times found this game drags on at the end to get that last little damage done. Otherwise, a great game, with new unique mechanics
That's the best part! The tooth and nail struggle at the end as your deck is depleting to sneak through that last point before you're fatigued
it should illustrate how important it is to maintain threat density through pitch stacking (pitching strong cards in the early game) and to make optimal use of your hands.
at its heart FAB is a competitive tcg - if you're just trading a card for a card, you end up playing a battle of attrition.
Got the set ordered and basically watching this as homework haha.

Hello I am just learning about this game and I was wondering would it be possible to construct the original four decks from buying a booster box or two?
the four decks in this video have cards that are only available in the "round the table" product so no, it's not possible

It was so hilarious seeing kyle, the dmg focus deck, struggle for so long to come up with 1 point of dmg lol. Tho I guess it goes to show how much resilience you can have if you play this game right
