Man this brings me back to the old days of watching The Command Zone and Game Knights. These videos are pure fun and it's exactly what we needed. Thanks, you absolute Chads 💪
28:30, technically, Josh should react in response to the defense reaction with flick knives, the nerve scalpel effect only can reduce defense if the reaction card has not resolved yet and become a defending card. Given that this is a very casual environment, it doesn't really matter.
I love that Josh has found FaB and is realizing all the things I did when I was a new player nearly 3 years ago now. I.e. the "oh... They designed the game so all the games feel close. Nothing has felt like a blow out yet."
Small rules nitpick, the nerve scalpel needs to be flicked in response to the dreact, not later. Stoked to see Josh playing fab, he and Jimmy introduced me to edh through game knights which is what really got me into tcgs
An honest misplay. It's funny, I was so impressed that Josh knew to close the chain so Flic Knives was online, but then he let a dr resolve on the same turn :P
@@derenathor i know its a year late, but just as a note: you dont need to break the chain for Flic Knives. It just specifies 'not on the active chain link', not 'not on the combat chain'
JLK and the rest of the game knights crew was my gateway to tcgs. Can’t tell you how awesome it feels to see him trying out my favourite game and having fun : )
Oh man I feel so spoiled whenever you guys upload! Face cams looking sharper and man that audio was super clean this episode, how do you keep improving when you already rock??? The atmosphere this episode was so playful and all the laughter made it feel like I was sitting around with friends enjoying the game together. The cuts to play insights were fabulous, they're always so valuable, interesting, or darn funny. Your videos always make me feel like I'm watching a story unfold. Thank you as always ♡
It's much appreciated! Even watching with care I only just noticed that you guys cut the music around dramatic pauses and even switch up the music for different emotional beats. It was just so flawless that I was feeling it without noticing it!
It's so cool to see both Josh and Jacob playing this game! Due to recent decisions from WOTC, I've been debating on leaving Magic the Gathering for Flesh and Blood and I'm so excited to see a similar outlet! 👍👍
Awesome content. Just a brief comment, flick knives reads " combait chain link", so there's no reason to close the chain in order for the knives to work.
Shred doing the dirty work! Josh did great in this game and I'm so glad to hear he likes it! Always a pleasure watching these videos, keep em coming guys and I hope to meet with you all at a big event sometime soon!
I like seeing big names in magic just chilling with a 2k sub channel. Seems like they're homies which makes the content better. No idea what's going on in FAB lol but I'm enjoying watching
You guys are hilarious. Thanks for doing this and continuing to help make the game of Flesh and Blood both fun and tactical for those considering playing it!
16:00 if josh can deduce He has a d react in the asernal he should have just pitch that atk card and play cnc to force Jacob to block with two card or lost the d react.
Awesome video guys! That game was very fun to watch. The codex turn was tasty and Josh's knife play was 👌. Jacob, you played honorably 😂. Shred gets head
You guys seem cool, and so does flesh and blood, but I'm timid about getting into it. Any tips on how to get started? I've been playing and collecting magic for a while, but I really don't like where the game is going, so I'm exploring getting into something new
Check out some of the resources in the description! TCC has a series on FAB, and RZR has a video called “new player guide”. The game is incredible and I hope you give it a shot! I had a similar journey :)
Question (have not yet played FAB game so perhaps stupid one) at 30:43 Katsu blocks for 3 but Uzuri has Spider bite effect played, should it only block for 2?
@@ThreeFloating That's interesting. I thought you were using some kind of filter but why, I had no idea. It's oddly endearing but probably just because I was a kid back then and nostalgic for that vibe. However it's too unique and quirky for me to criticize.
Floating is the worse, non-thematic term that has plagued this game. I’ve been playing day 1 and my lcoals - group of friends use “extra” and its better

Man, you could tell it like clicked for JLK like 2 turns into that game. He was just like "Oh yeah, this is how I play and win. I'll do that now."
he’s a natural
This means so much to the Flesh and Blood Community, amazing in all ways

This channel is so good
100%!!!! They just got me into fnb. Gonna go grab some boosters and a blitz deck right away
@@lowkeydeetee2779welcome to the game!
Y'all are the exact kind of energy that I love to see in a gameplay video, just chilling with friends enjoying the game together.
How is this channel not bigger.
Absolutely excellent game gentlemen 🍻
I adore the back and forth banter, it just feels like a couple of guys hanging out

Josh lee Kwai is a champ! Jacob's no pushover, I think he got a little greedy with that double art of war without checking his graveyard GG
You guys are hilarious. Thanks for doing this and continuing to help make the game of Flesh and Blood both fun and tactical for those considering playing it!
30:38 you actually don’t have to close the combat chain to be able to activate flick knives. Flick says as long as it isn’t on the current link!
I was about to comment about this too lmao
I realized this while editing haha, could’ve totally kept the chain going
Amazing watch, and bravo to everyone for creating so many fun moments in editing. Keep up the amazing work! Awesome to have Josh on the channel.
Really knocked it out of the park again, I've been sharing this as a great learn to play video! Keep up the awesome work!
This games are incredible, i could watch this all day
Loved the video! Been great seeing you guys at events! Hope to see you again soon!
This is awesome!!
I really like the enjoyment you bring to these videos, makes me want to be playing right now
Josh Lee Kwai playing the superior card game! I’m in!
This was a blast!! 🎉
16:00 if josh can deduce He has a d react in the asernal he should have just pitch that atk card and play cnc to force Jacob to block with two card or lost the d react.

Shred gets head
codex turn was truly all pistons firing
Does literally everyone but me have spring tunic? Jeez
Good vídeo to learn How to play
This was a great game! Didn't know Josh played FaB, but love to see it!
“I’m known as the value guy”
That got me. 😂
Great seeing JLK on the channel!
(Jimmy when..?!)
would love to make that happen!
well I got news for you guys xp
CONGRATS ON OVER 2K SUBSCRIBERSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Awesome video as always!!
instant sub, glad i found the channel
Decklists would be great :) was a fun first episode for me :D
legends!
Damn Josh was cookin!!! 🕷️ 🗡️
he’s quick with those knives 🥘🔪
I had hopes that Jacob was gonna win, but you could just tell that he knew he screwed up 😂!! You guys never fail to make me smile and laugh ❤!!
Fun to watch. A few rules issues here and there But i had good time through the entire video.
Man Josh playing Uzuri makes so much sense hahaha
5:19 here he pitches before playing, isn’t that not allowed?
Super hyped for this video
Another great episode guys!
This is insanely good content!
I have very little understanding of fab, but this was still a very enjoyable video to watch.
Dunno who this dude is but he clearly knows his tcgs 😂 love the video, helped kitchen table player me better understand the reaction phase.
SO EXCITING!! You think Josh Lee Kwai of Game Knights Fame has played UPF yet?
Hawk from cobra Kai plays FAB?
be nice if these decks were realistic for me to buy.... i like the assassin deck but my god the prices on some these cards is insane
I've seen any of your stuff before, but JLK got me to click. I really like your recording style.
Josh really said “no mercy” 😭😭
Had me laughing out loud the whole time!
JLK came over, he took a look around, and took over the channel 🤣
Where can we find the decks lists?

Nice video
Im so happy to see JLK trying out fab. Its slowly spreading everywhere!
Josh needs to come back!
Jacob should consider referring to himself as "a cooler version of Timothée Chalamet that also plays the best fighting card game there is"
Sweep the leg…🎉🎉🎉
Love the videos guys! What kind of camera are you using for filming the shots with that nice old school effect?
Awesome episode!
Howzit!
Ah, so this is like magic? Interesting.
"No games have felt like blowouts" Good thing he didn't play the Stavo meta.
Keep it up with the bangers
Question (have not yet played FAB game so perhaps stupid one) at 30:43 Katsu blocks for 3 but Uzuri has Spider bite effect played, should it only block for 2?
He blocked with a non attack card.
Is that guy an actor?
no deck lists? but...but...what if I want to buy singles??
😏
nice Liverpool poster on the wall there
is there some kinda scan lines filter on the face cam
Let him cook
Why does the face cam video quality look like late-90s to mid-2000s television?
Because we are using old camcorders!

wait...WHAT?!
I watched this video to learn about the game and it looks super fun. But I don't want to buy another card game. Why do you do this to me? lol
I do not get this game.
the girls on those cards have no business being that pretty 😭
