My boyfriend showed me this and GOOD THING! Aside from getting him the normal stocking stuffers, I will be making him a basket full of tactical stuff and even thinking of getting a box of ammo because talk is cheap and ammo is expensive (so I’ve heard). Thank you for such a good video!
On the gaffers tape, I keep blaze orange and black in my truck. Blaze orange is very handy, I’ve used it for a flag for oversized lumber in the bed of the truck, trail marking, putting on camo because someone always forgets blaze orange during rifle season. Makes a good sent drag as well. Para cord is always a cheap gift that brings a smut to my face.
@@deebee0225 Typically, the ichiness is directly related to fiber diameter - the thicker the fiber, the more itchy it can get. Nowadays, there is no problem getting wool products with 17 microns and less, and I did not ever have any itchy problem even in 19 micron range.

It’s almost a year old but to who ever will see this, I have a couple more ideas. 1) dry fit shirts and dry fit boxers, these are great, I always wear them if I have them. The shirts make great under shirts especially if you live anywhere where it gets hot and you don’t want your jackets or shirts to get as dirty and the underwear don’t give you friction between your body and your clothes so there’s not as much pull. 2) a nice knife. Doesn’t have to be super expensive. I got a CJRB Crag for about 50$ on Knifecenter. It’s D2 steel (tool grade steel, pretty good) it came in sharp and it’s thick for a flip out knife. I carry it on me everyday and something like that is great to have whether you’re opening packages, cutting wire or maybe needing some defense that doesn’t make a sound or require ammo to use it. 3) some sort of electronic target practice device like the Mantis X or itarget pro. I don’t have one but if you can spend 120$ (I think) to buy something that will give you dry fire practice from home with some sort of tracking system, that sounds like a deal.
Most videos like this are typically pretty dumb. This one is surprisingly 50% solid, 25% stuff that I already have, and 25% stuff that I don't personally need but I know someone else who would love
I took the family to legoland last weekend for Christmas, and I ran into a dude wearing a dirty civilian hat. We shook hands. You guys have exploded in a single year. Congratulations! It's well deserved.
We had one of those things where you pull a name and gift them something in our barracks. Price was 20 bucks max. I didn't really know the guy and gave him a power strap with overvoltage protection and honest to god I've never seen this dude so happy. Like, gifts don't have to be expensive, they have to be useful.
These are all awesome gift ideas. The best one though was the story abouthe family member that you barely knew giving you fifty rounds of 556 and two p-mags that's like absolute Bromance right there but what I always tell my family is all they need to get me as a hug hugs are cheap easy to come by and one size fits all
This is great! Sometimes it's hard to put things like this in a list. Then my family is clueless as to what these things are. I literally just sent this to them as my wishlist.
I got a collapsible fire bellow off Amazon years ago. Amazing for camping fires and I use it to help start my pit barrel smoker as well. Only complaint is it’s easy to lose
This list is one of the best out there. One category I would add (that was even a prop in this video) is storage containers. Ammo can/pelican case/plano box, any and all of the above!
Great video guys. Things that make it on my list each year are military rain ponchos, mora knives, and paracord/bank line. Can never have enough of these. They make it into every bag, vehicle, and kit I have. Keep it up!
I love that i can just send this video to people that ask what i want and let them still choose something instead of just telling them a specific thing. Thanks guys, nailed it!
Darn tough won’t “just replace them”. In my experience I got a gift card worth less than price paid and you still have to pay for shipping. Don’t wast your money buy alpaca wool socks. Especially with cold weather!
Small shop near home here ships them back for free and will legit just hand you another pair no questions asked, but the socks are so rigid and uncomfortable I almost never wear em
Blue Barrel is a company that sells plans and components for PVC connectors and downspout access for water storage. Good stuff. Plus you can get blue barrels from some restaurants and organic soap manufacturers etc.. FREE sometimes!
Things I've given in the past few years in the up to 25 price range, Sharpal dual grit sharpeners, ammo cans, tow straps, screw bit sets, titanium nitride drill bit sets, light wool neck gaiters and balaclavas, nice high power flashlights, dog safe road salt, 50 packs of razor knife blades, shoot and see targets, ratchet straps In the 25-75 range, Silky saw, full propane tank In the 300+ dollar range reloading press, dies, powder, bullets primers, powder thrower and book
It seems to be a hard concept for some people to grasp that, if there’s anything I want, I’ll just buy it for myself. And if I don’t buy it for myself, it’s because it’s too expensive and you’re not gonna buy it for me either.
Those keychain single-LED lights are great. I think Nite Ize makes them. 99 times out of 100 I don't need a billion lumens, I just dropped something under my desk or between the car seats and need a little bit of light. They're great, weatherproof, lightweight, and don't look silly tactical.
I just splurged and bought an RH25 during Black Friday. Saved up all year on the side specifically for a thermal rifle rig. Now I don’t need to worry about Christmas for myself.
Another good gift is a Mora knife, good all around knife for around $15-20. If you really want to blow them out of the water another good gift is either an Esee knife or a Benchmade knife. Both come with a lifetime warranty and are super high quality, Esee ranges from around $80-200 and Benchmade ranges around $180-350.
You should add Element Fire Extinguishers, they are ~$90+. They don’t expire, they’re super compact but they out perform traditional extinguishers. They are a 1” cylinder by 11” long and weigh less than pound.
A good fire extinguisher is a must! I have a couple from Blaze Defense that I mounted in the back seat of my truck on the B pillars. They're awesome to have on hand for camping, wheeling, anything honestly! Put out an oil fire from a rollover Jeep one year with one, kept a bad situation from turning much much worse.
in my family they never get me anything that falls under my actual hobbies or tastes, they kind of gave up since every season i add another hobbie and nose dive into it to the point its too specific to actually guess what part i really like, so they made the best next thing, they get me things i wouldn't bother buying for myself, like underwear and socks, pants and shirts, because all i need is jeans, black and khaki pants, and white and black shirts, and my father is a mechanic so every time he helps me get my car fixed or helps me learn an adult skill i find that way better than any gift.
Got a Battery Daddy last year. Had it on my Amazon wish list cuz I was tired of seeing disorganized piles of batteries in kitchen drawers. Works great and the tester does work well.

My dudes, don’t forget about green lasers for starting fires, blinding intruders or being found by helicopter at night. Or maybe a GPS unit to show your location and send for help in an emergency. Maybe an Early warning trip wire device that can fire blanks or flares. Just my 2 cents.
The Fountainhead is a fantastic book. Wool blankets, canvas tarps, knives, ammo, cast iron cookware, socks, 100 percent cotton clothing. All winners in my book.

Sawyer filters are my go to. 100,000 gallons in your pocket. Also the BlueCollarOps pants, literally the Crye Pants at Home and fits their kneepads. Great pants for $80 a pair.
Gerber makes a 15-in-1 multi tool for about 30 bucks that has been good for me. Maybe I just don't abuse it but it's cheap enough to buy in triplicate to keep in various places where you might need one. Keep on in the backpack, the car etc
The problem is that there are so many different types of tactical/hunting/outdoors gear that it's super confusing for someone who isn't into it to know what to buy. They usually get something that isn't quite right. Anyways I'm looking forward to you guys getting about 50 mission first tactical brand magazines for Christmas. Good luck
I told my better half, get me a cast iron pan and the bread bible. Sure theres stuff on my wishlist, but its stuff that's too expensive to ask someone else to buy

God bless yall. Thats awesome of you to do for him!
Good god my wife should watch GT. It would be immediate game over if she said that to me 😂
