Vincenzo, I checked the price of the Admok M400 on Aliexpress and it is $38-$40. So I think for $40 it is certainly worth the price. I'm thinking of buying it!
Thanks you for another interesting review. I have two of the Admok M800 pens, and I am content with them, so won't be seeking out the M400, but it's always good to be informed about what's available.
I have been using the Admok for a few days and its an absolute joy to write with .That Schmidt nib is juicy and silky smooth. But the experience is better with the Admok M800. I just have to get one with the galaxy blue barrel. My Green one does not do the trick.
Vincenzo thank you for sharing your fountain pen therapy, I really enjoy your reviews. I was just wondering about this pen yesterday and I believe you're the first to review it, at least in English, as I couldn't find any others. I hope you have any enjoyable holiday!
Great review, thanks, I have 2 x Admok M800, 2 x Admok M400 and 2 x Pelikan M200. Love all of them and have come to a similar conclusion as you. The EF Schmidt nibs are excellent. Shame there isn't a #6 EF Schmidt one for the Admok M800 so ended up with a F Schmidt and and EF Bock nib. It's a shame you can't swap them easily around as Schmidt nib holder is different than the Bock one. I hesitated about getting a M400 that can accept a Pelikan nib but ended up not getting it as the cost of a Pelikan nib is about half of an Admok pen. Don't regret it for a minute
If you compare the price of an M400 by Pelikan to the Admok, it would not be that unreasonable. But, I do think it is overpriced. I have the Admok 800 which I thought was a little high but it is certainly a nice pen especially with the Schmodt nib. I own the Pelikan M205 which i think nk is the same size as the M400 but has a gold nib and it does have an ink window. I think Admok missed the boat bu not havong one which would have made it more attractive to buyers amd would have an added feature that is not one the Pelikan M400. Great review, Vincenzo and enjoy your vacation..
The price for the real thing herein Canada would vary between 400 to 500 US or 600-750 CDN, plus shipping and excise custom duties. I have been using the Admok for a few days and its an absolute joy to write with .That Schmidt nib is juicy and silky smooth. But yes an ink window would really have done the trick.
It‘s the other way around: The Pelikan M200 is the one with the (very nice) steel nib, the M400 is 14C gold, both are the same size. So this Admok really is a copy of the P M200, which retails for about 100 to 120 Euros here in Germany.
@@paulmchugh1430 Have you checked out the Pelikan Pura or the more recent Ineo? It’s a totally different style in comparison to the M-Series of course, but they write quite nice.
Coming back to value - I think your rating is very fair. I'm in the UK but it seems to be for sale for 100-110 rmb domestically in China, or ~15 usd. I wish we could get it for something like that, it'd be £30 posted to the UK.
I've been trying to figure this out for over an hour, so I'll just ask. Could anyone tell me the real model name of the pen Vincenzo calls the "Admok Duofold" please?
It appears to no longer be up for sale in AliExpress and my recollection was that no particular name was given to this pen but the description contained the duofold reference
Now I don't want it 😂 I kind of avoid #5 nibs, and the pen is too small also, the 20x size is just too thin and short for my hand. Better wait to see if they try the 100x size, thay would be a huge hit 😬
Hi Mr.V Another interesting pen review! Thanks for sharing!
My pleasure!
Great review, Safe travels. Enjoy all the tapas and wines we have to offer in Spain.
Thank you! Will do!

Admok and Gilad at Tanagra!

Thanks. Looking forward to it. I leave in a few hours for Rome.
Thank you Vincenzo. That vintage 140 of yours, if it has the fine nib is one of my grail pens. Visconti taste on a Preppy budget haha.
It’s a nice vintage pen, but I was expecting it to be a flex pen and it is not. Apparently they do not all have flex nibs
I love that ink now that I bought a stub pen. Lapis clogged everything else.

Despite what people say, those pens are nice writing instruments however comparatively speaking, they’re overpriced
@@fountainpentherapy for a similar price, what other pens do you recommend?
Looks great Vincenzo. 😀
Grazie!. Leaving for Rome in a few hours. Naples, Florence, Spain and France are next
Hope you have a great time!!!!
I did! Just got back and presently working on a three-part series

@@stefanseufert7450 I had the Pura. The grip was a bit thin for me. I will look for the Info. I have never heard of it.

Theyre $35 shipped on AliExpress in the US, I think for the $10 more I'd go for the M800
He’s interesting to see how prices vary from continents to continents. Something that I should pay more particular attention to.
@@Rgmekanic the M800 is much bigger/larger diameter than the M400. All depends what your preference is.
I love my M600 but wish the piston unit was removable. That’s an improvement in my book.
It’s a great pen
Greetings..Any idea if does ADMOK M400 take Pelikan M400/M200 nib assembly?? Screw in style I mean
Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you
Does the nib unscrew like Pelicans? Thanks Vincenzo
Gonna have to try to see if it does right now the pink is inked. I will try to keep your question in mind.

A M1000 would be fantastic but don’t hold your breath
