I'm not sure if he was trying to pose as "spiritual". Joey, when will you emphasize the UNDENIABLE fact that humans are herbivorous (frugivorous, to be more precise) and that is it unnatural for us to jump on any animal and tear it apart with our "claws" and teeth? AND when oh when will you explain to your interviewees that it is not the taste of animals that they enjoy but the sauces, spices, salt and condiments which they like.
Joey Carbstrong i never knew how we killed animals for meat until last year. I just wanna say that forst. You must create awareness. Then knowledge. THEN leave the person with a simple. Its YOUR choice now man. And i guarantee you will get across better. Makimg people feel dumb isnt the way. There needs to be more film on the meat market out HERE in PUBLIC VIEW. Whilst I don't agree with him, I understand his misguided thought process. He's realised that he or typical consumers are physically disconnected to the process of slaughtering animals, but from that he's concluded he wants to be more connected to the process rather than reject the process completely.

It's like shooting Swedish Fish in a barrel, upending his reasoning. Someone should hold his hand when he crosses the street, lest he step in front of a bus.
L.A Xavier i am not a fanatic, i thought why would someone ask me such a question. It isn't necessary in my opinion. I don't think i do my language a disservice at all. If you wanted to engage about the slaughter of innocent animals i would have done so willingly. I believe innocent means a living animal who harms no one intentionally and just wants to live the life it is meant to live.
L.A Xavier i don't know why you are giving me a hard time, perhaps you have a reason, but i think it best to stop engaging with you. I have no ill feeling towards you but this conversation is just unnecessary.
I gotta say Joey you're really making a difference. You've inspired me because you're advocating for veganism in such a peaceful way but you're also assertive. You got great communication skills. U the man bro
Bro the reason he changes the topic is bc he's trying to get through to people and show them the ethics and the health benefits of veganism. Theres a reason vegans dont fill up the hospitals bro, its cuz they dont need to go. Some do cuz they the oreo eating vegans. I personally advocate for All Natural Alkaline vegan diet, which has no artificial products. There's also spiritual benefits as well to veganism and im sure he knows this but he doesn't share that fact because most people aren't prepared mentally to accept this yet. Afraid of nature? Lol how. Nature is unforgiving because humans are unforgiving. We are a part of Nature thus we are Nature, even though we try to deny this. Nature is determined by humans since we are the most influential and powerful beings in this world. I personally believe if every man converted to veganism even carnivorous animals like lions would stop eating meat. I also believe natural disasters would stop as well. Nature commits acts against the world to send a message to human beings that they are not living the right way. We could have heaven on earth bro. Veganism is a win win win, not only for personal health, peace of mind, but also peace on earth. Sorry for this little rant I was bored lol
Kinder temperament than me do u know me? I'm ripping them cuz they arent right. Nature wont be halted itll be progressed. And the earth is flat bro do some research on it. Gravity is not real, density and temperature are. nasa is a lie. If i weigh more than air than i will go towards the ground simple as that. I question everything bro and I make my own judgements about the world through my own intuition and human experience. You clearly need to increase your intuition not tyring to insult u at all. Love is so powerful bro. It can change the world just on its own. Love can change nature and u can be apart of that change since u are also apart of nature.
You are bro cuz everything is interconnected even though u might not want to accept it and u can keep calling me that. Say something 100 times doesn’t make it any more true. And I do respect you it is u who doesn’t respect me but I don’t need your respect. I respect your beliefs doesn’t mean I think they are right and I’m not gonna call u a moron by doing so.
L.A Xavier , the fact that there's no biological requirement in the human body for animal products and the fact that virtually all people viewing this video do not live in the remote tundra means that it's not necessary for any of us to consume animal products. As for plants, you are conflating "living" with "sentient"....two entirely different things. If your conflation were accurate, that would mean that you and a blade of grass would have nearly equal or in the very least similar moral value.
L.A Xavier , 1) the human body is NOT an animal product 2) you come across as not having a clue what morality means . So I must ask you, what does morality mean to you?
L.A Xavier , you are ridiculous; where are people today being seen as food? And please don't conflate rare cases of religious or starvation cannibalism with food....not the same at all. And even if they were, that doesn’t negate any part of my argument.
L.A Xavier , as for morality, you are not correct. Morality specifically deals with good or bad behavior. To your absurd strawman that I think I'm better than you, show me where I've claimed that What I definitely do posit is that the position of most carnists (in support of needless killing) is inferior to my position which is logically superior In the same way that the position which advocates for rape is inferior to the position that advocates against rape.
the guy in background looks un easy with joey's tactics weird why is this guy weird? what do you predominant folk on these forums think when JOEY says this work he is doing is writing his wrongs in past.??? ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL
meat eater and spiritual together in the same mouthful is total juxtaposition. An oxymoron. You can’t be both, just like you can’t be a meat eating environmentalist.
Disagree. Although i am a vegan and have been for some time now i would have still considered myself spiritual prior to this change. Saying that i always looked and worked towards veganism but allowed myself to transition in my own time when i was ready by educating myself more on nutrition and educating myself on the environmental and health issues that meat and dairy cause. You may have a point if we are talking about a meat eater who is ignorant to the issues that the meat and dairy industries cause to the environment and has no intention of change. I don't think judging others is ever a good position to be in but we should all do our best to spread awareness in the most positive and effective way we can.
@@blazej7311 only because we've demolished the numbers of their natural wild predators. It is an issue, but can be dealt with humanely, or at least in a way which benefits other wild animals; for example if rabbits were trapped then fed to unwell birds of prey or other meat eaters as they recuperate before release back into the wild, or projects along those lines.
If he was talking about a human, they would lock him up. This guy is incredibly delusional. "Where are you living right now?" - "I'm not living anywhere, mate." He's certainly not living in reality. The final hug, you can just tell nobody's home. lol
bro this is so dope! you really got through to him and inspired him thats why he wanted your opinions because he wanted to learn. There was love in that conversation man and I think you've made a huge impact on his life in only 20mins. This is mad
Omg……"I want to experience what it feels like to create death"...wow that's like what a psychopath would say. This guy is really scary. Respect for continuing this conversation in your very calm and reasonable manner, Joey!
Theater version: Right when he says "I'm a piece of life, they're a piece of life, life consuming life to further life..." a huge shark leaps out of the water and bites off his head. THE END
Someone wanting to personally "experience" killing an animal is a lot more disturbing than pretending meat fell off a tree and onto your table or simply being apathetic... especially wanting to eat "every part" including the entrails. Psychopathy is the opposite of spirituality.
Oh my days this guy ..wtf. That's so selfish. He's really warped. Trying to find ANY excuse to experience killing an animal to try to justify a life time of paying for it.... or just for the human experience of killing an animal. Thats pretty twisted! I think you planted some seeds here Joey! You're so so good at this! Thank you ♡☆♡☆♡☆♡
I agree, but at least he is honest. Just like many people, he is still in that mind set that we "should be eating meat". How many meat eaters will say "I indirectly murder animals just for the taste of meat and I don't care because I don't have to kill them. It is done for me and I don't have to see it". Both types are wrong of course.
He wants to experience causing death for his personal growth... alarm bells ringing for me. He can fill his permaculture system with all the rescue chickens, they'll happily do their part in his closed organic system. I see lots of these idealistic minds, hopefully they'll find some vegan permie references and realise it can be done without animal agriculture being a part of it. Or include animals without them being "food".
This guy made me cringe the whole video! A truly Spiritual person would never actually WANT to harm another living being to see "what it's like" or be "part of the process". His mindset seems quite selfish (and disturbing) in my opinion, he sees everything as a resource that he can take and exploit just because he is the "predator"... That's all EGO my friend.
Chickens will eat their own eggs and it's good for them. So why eat chicken periods? I'm not even sure he knows what he believes... he's all over the place and contradicting himself.
That's right. Even the vegan preacher Gary Yourofsky admitted that, in his Retirement Letter last year ("Tag, you're it !") : *"Since birds don’t menstruate, eggs are technically not a part of their period."* Being vegan is not a excuse to spreading false facts. ;)
You can literally see how done you are with this idiot towards the end. Wow. You should be accepted into sainthood Joey you are absolutely indefinitely patient.
L.A Xavier Nature is rocks, and fucking grass, and random genetic mutations. We are humans, we can choose to be better than nature. Fuck nature, do whats right. Go vegan
He still looked sick when he hugged Joey. I was expecting his eyes to be open and cold, instead he looked tired and unwell. Hope none of his negative energy got into Joey . It looked like he planted one on him........ Creepy !!
I instead would question what is wrong with you? Negative energy? Seems like you know nothing about "energy". Dude seemed like a good and genuine guy. What you wrote is very naive and childish...
shuki jipota so if someone feels a need to kill you because they've enjoyed watching you grow up, Your going to be very sympathetic, and say WOW possessive energy man..... The guys a creep and I'm glad he's not in my family. His consciousness has not looked into the health Side of meat and dairy, Cancer, Heart Deceases, strokes, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, MS etc etc etc if He's holistic organic like we are, then he Better do some more research quickly!!
The guy was a psycho. That false halo can fool some but it didn't fool most this time. Arguing against veganism is the lens of truth on psychopaths. They can blend in anywhere else but veganism is like a spot light. Through veganism, we can cleanse this scourge from our species one and for all.
Whenever I say to my friends "you're eating an animal that suffered and died" they feel really uncomfortable, and they try really hard to convince themself that it's right... :((
Crocky yep everyone does that and it's frustrating but sadly they are not where we are and don't realize things at the same level yet. But someday.... We can only hope.
Crocky i wouldn't go about convincing them like that. It's ineffective because it feels like shaming to them rather than a conversation. You'll seriously put people off by saying that, trust me.
Yes you're probably right! Now I'm having peaceful debate with them (Joey is very inspiring for that) and it seems like they understand more what I'm saying, but sadly, the last time I talked to them about that they said "yes, but it's too good" T_T
Crocky good for you, that means they're getting the point. It really helps to laugh with them every once in a while. Earthling Ed and James aspey are great at this. Anyways, good luck!
I am 67 and I and my husband have been vegan for two and a half years. I still like the smell of cooked meat and fish but i continue to be vegan for three reasons. It is the best thing for my health, it is the best thing for the animals and it is the best thing for the survival of our beautiful planet that I hope our wonderful grandchildren will inherit. I think carnism is accepted because it has been the way of life for thousands of years and it is accepted as 'normal' but so was slavery. I think it takes a brave person to stand up in a crowd an try to tell them that what they are doing is wrong. I try to be that person but it is hard to swim against the crowd and be thought a 'nutter' by some family members and many friends. I will continue because there is so little time left to save our planet.
This was a fantastic example of how to end a discussion that has hit a dead end at that point in time on a good note. I suspect this man will think about what was discussed and may change his mind about killing someone to feel 'a connection with the process'
This guy was talking so much BS it was unbelievable! He says he wants to needlessly murder an innocent animal to bring himself closer to the way of life and that he wants to eat eggs because that helps him connect with the circle of life. When in reality he's probably living with his mum and would miss his scrambled eggs in the morning too much!
TheFettuck Don’t use the plant argument it takes more plants to feed livestock than it is just to eat it ourselves. Animals are sentient beings. YES, plants are living but they ain’t sentient mate, No nervous system. Just a plant.
You destroyed his arguments, he knew it, cognitive dissonance of the highest order but too proud to just fully admit you're right... Good job man, your channel is mint, I left a comment ages ago unsubbing for boring slander videos and the way you came across, was probably a bit harsh n troll esq but also totally understand how you got a little lost down that rabbit hole with that crowd, it seemed so good at face value, I was totally in too at one point just not posting vids. Really glad you're doing so well, you've found your natural path, the way you speak and everything about the conversations etc is totally organic. Don't mean to sound patronising but I appreciate the turn around to such great, powerful, meaningful content. The world is that bit better with people like you around, keep it up man!! Re-subbed!!
This guy needs to be reported to the police! He has a desire to kill something with his own hands and feel the life drain from it. Most murderers start out with animals.....
Got to hand it to him, he really understands how nature works. Much like ALL other people who first get into a debate on this topic (as did I) they try to find a way to justify their actions. Some habits are extremely difficult to break in 20 minutes but kudos to him for truly listening on a deeper level.
it seems spiritual people never like being out of ideas or responses - more so than almost every other demographic; and I believe his want to kill an animal for himself was a deluded way of saying “I’m guilty and need to take responsibility for my past actions”. the rest of the debate was him looking through a haystack to find a needle that wasn’t there when trying to locate at least one way of exploiting animals and still feeling a part of a peaceful nature. he was looking for confirmation - not reason or salvation; an unfortunate result of the addictive connection we’re taught to have with animal products from the world around us at a very young age. :(
His reasoning to have one blood sacrifice to repent for all his sin is so closely linked to the Christ sacrifice story. This partially demonstrates this odd connection humans have with blood sacrifice. I still don’t understand it though.
Joey is so concise and to the point, you can see he's such a well experienced advocate. It's so inspiring, he doesn't take any shit, but he's never rude and always maintains respect for who he's talking to. I love you Joey
I don’t understand why when ur making valid points that the person always sticks with their inconsistent view point when they are obviously re-evaluating their view point, they can easily agree and thank you for opening their eyes. especially for a spiritual person whose supposed to be open minded seems like the only thing he can say is “nature tho, culture tho”. admitting that your wrong isn’t a bad thing, growth is good!!
So in order to fully understand the pain I have inflicted on others, I should cause more pain and suffering ... ??? 🤯 I’m not killing my dog, that I have raised for 4 years now, to feel more “connected” to him. I do that by letting him live and taking care of him. Murder is just not justifiable, unless someone is literally trying to kill you. I truly believe this man was influenced by a sociopath or simply has sociopathic tendencies, that he is trying so damn hard to make excuses for. Either way, I hope he decides against murdering an innocent being. Loved that hug at the end ! Looked like he really needed one.
This guy is very confused.. turning towards deranged. This is what happens when people think they understand things that are beyond our reality. Spiritual connection is something that is created in your own mind like a dream.
Wow this guy is a real gem. 8:26 "In the big scheme of things" What??? Please... just leave them alone... Just leave them alone. Just leave them alone. Alone.... Alone... It's that easy... Alone...
i had a spiritual awakening back in 2014 and the FIRST THING i did when i realized who i was and who the animals were and how the system worked was GO VEGAN!!! well vegetarian at first but for like a month and after watching documentaries and videos like this i went full vegan!! never been better!! more spiritual than ever!! stronger, faster wiser etc.. its crazy how your life improves just by doing whats natural
In his defense, I can see where the need to kill the animal comes from, I think it might be symbolism(not a valid justification) for the brain. It might help him say, ok, there, I did something. Being vegan is a non-action; unless you're an activist which most vegans aren't,and that might be underwhelming. Usually good deeds are ACTIONS of kindness, and non actions might leave him with a sense of dissatisfaction. Maybe realizing that you can't undo all the horrible things you've contributed to is depressing and in an act of desperation the mind might come up with something dramatic, like a sacrifice (because thats what we hear of in stories and we see in movies) to "ease" his conscience. Again it's been imbedded into us since birth what is ok to do and what is not ok, and we must start questioning everything. I hope this young man walks away with a bit of relief that someone could relate. Some people just need to be reassured about their ideas, and I assume that the sacrificing of the animal topic is not something most people would be comfortable talking about. I'm glad he got a chance to talk to you and maybe hearing himself say the things he did will make him change his mind.
I see those muscles coming in Joey. ;-) Great discussion. Sadly, this poor kid just isn't a very rationally thinking person. Your socratic methodology is exactly what people like him need to develop their critical thinking skills.
One of your best convos Joey! You were extra heaps patient and understanding with this one. There so many pregnant, long pauses where you effectively won the debate and he had no real option other than to concede that his position was inherently flawed. If I was questioning him, I would have been very tempted to end it right there at one of these points, lol.
Love the Hug, hopefully he will think about this more and not kill!!! Joey you are amazing, I'm going to my 2nd Anonymous for the Voiceless this Sunday, I am pumped to share with the public!! Thank you for all that you do!!!!
*Its not natural for a human to kill and eat an animal. In some situations I can understand it, for instance self defense and times of starvation. And there is nothing unethical about eating a dead animal you find laying around, but its still not human food and should only be done when you're desperate.*
That's great! He is the standing emblem of all possible intellectual positions that purport to denounce veganism; it is thus a prime opportunity to provide clarity and denounce the erroneous, commonplace narratives that are both deceiving us and providing a false justification for persons not to CHANGE.
its admireable how you stay calm. I tend to get angry when people are repeating their pointless arguments over and over. Most are not even able to listen and that's the moment where I have to stop before loosing it completely 🙈
brightgeistmovies oh thats cool. For me winter a priblem - all veggies and fruits became extremely expensive, so im just eating potatos, grains and beans xD
i'm not sure you understood what i meant. i meant: you were wondering why it's hot outside in the video. and the answer is: because the seasons are the other way round on the southern hemisphere than they are on the northern hemisphere.
I'm vegan and I completely understand what he's saying. He's intellectually trying to experience what he's causing- it's not a question of morality. He wants to fully understand the repercussions of his lifestyle. So that once faced, he will know wether or not he is able to continue as a meat eater (I think meat eaters should hunt and use the whole animal like he says). You kind of are twisting words- but I think it's cause you're arguing different ideals/points. If I had to I'd kill an animal to survive (in the wild) and it'd be a spiritual experience- not because it's moral, but because it just is. It's life. I don't agree with him, as it seems he thinks it's his right- just pointing out this debate could've been done more effectively if argued from his point of view.
RealJayJobes I agree brother, I am vegan too . I fully understand what he was trying to express, he wasn't debating the justification he was explaining that if he did the act himself it would bring him to a place of understanding the impact of the decision, its all about experience . and if anyone says well then an animal dies, my friends, he was going to eat meat anyway , what he's choosing to do may be far more effective in turning him vegan than this Evangelical mindset joey pushes, also!!! Joey doesn't let anyone speak! He's like a child jumping in with regurgitated lines , he talks about disconnection, this is the biggest one .
I gotta say I really enjoy how easily Joey disarms any argumemt and leaves his ("competition?") With silly arguments that you can tell even they know has no weight to it. People just really want to be right!
He's actually attempting not to be a hypocrite. He's very self aware. He's actually more self aware than people who turn their nose up at slaughterhouse videos whilst chowing down on a steak. He's very, very misguided. I don't think he's a psychopath. There are hunters that kill for pleasure. He wants to kill to see how it affects him morally and if he will change as a result. How many animals have we killed by eating meat? Just because we don't do the act does not make us any more superior to him. Yes it's disturbing to us. More disturbing that what goes on in slaughterhouses? I don't think so. If someone took him to a slaughterhouse, I think that would be enough to satisfy his curiosity and possibly become vegan.
Leave your Thoughts on this debate below! I know he claimed he wasn't currently a "Meat eater" but Im unsure of his honesty as he said "I don't buy meat from the supermarket anymore" and his intention is to continue to kill and eat them in his "spiritual" way.

GodBlessNYC joey has more patience. He is surely doing my head in and I don't think I could restrain myself without getting annoyed😡

@@ciaareinthecommentssection9575 Perfect description of politicians. Most people are psychopats, I think, and antropocentric.
First sign of a psychopath is hurting animals and having no compassion to animals.

The Oddest Vegan Couple totally! How can you kill an animal if you don't see it separate from yourself?
When you're "spiritual" and convinced of the wrong choices you find any means of justification for the act.. just like any other fallible human.
What you're describing is the plant agriculture industry using the means of pesticides, insecticides, herbicides etc. as a way of mass producing with the highest yield and most aesthetically pleasing. True!
"I want to create death" "I connect to all life."
I demand to see this man's "logic".
It's quite simple, life and death go hand in hand.
Kaitlyn Broughm The same logic that has people believing they live on a cartoon ball earth
L.A Xavier I take back what I said, because you're incredibly right lol
He connects to life, and then disconnects it lmao.
life begins with death? please explain L.A Xavier
He needs a doctor!

He had very strange beliefs. I don't know why he would want to kill an innocent animal for the experience. You handled the situation very well Joey.

Maybe smoke some weed bro. The main thing MJ does is increase your intuition
And of course make u euphoric
You are bro cuz everything is interconnected even though u might not want to accept it and u can keep calling me that. Say something 100 times doesn’t make it any more true. And I do respect you it is u who doesn’t respect me but I don’t need your respect. I respect your beliefs doesn’t mean I think they are right and I’m not gonna call u a moron by doing so.
Facts and logic destroys carnist nonsense every time
Candy Colored Clowns , go away, troll
L.A Xavier , the fact that there's no biological requirement in the human body for animal products and the fact that virtually all people viewing this video do not live in the remote tundra means that it's not necessary for any of us to consume animal products.
As for plants, you are conflating "living" with "sentient"....two entirely different things. If your conflation were accurate, that would mean that you and a blade of grass would have nearly equal or in the very least similar moral value.
L.A Xavier , 1) the human body is NOT an animal product
2) you come across as not having a clue what morality means .
To your absurd strawman that I think I'm better than you, show me where I've claimed that
What I definitely do posit is that the position of most carnists (in support of needless killing) is inferior to my position which is logically superior In the same way that the position which advocates for rape is inferior to the position that advocates against rape.
Wow. Just wow. This was an absolutely amazing debate. You’re killing it Joey. Sending vegan love from New Zealand 🌱💖
Eden Holley don’t you guys have mock chicken made from peas over there? :)
Lander Hendrickx I think so. I don’t really eat mock meat do I don’t pay much attention but the mock meat and dairy products are so good.
Woohoo, a fellow kiwi vegan!
Lander Hendrickx yes we do! It’s from a brand called Sunfed and it’s very realistic, fooled my dad ;)
ayyyyyyyyy love from NZ also !!!1
weird guy
sick
So says the guy with the BDSM mask :p
Just KIDDING ;)
the guy in background looks un easy with joey's tactics
weird why is this guy weird? what do you predominant folk on these forums think
when JOEY says this work he is doing is writing his wrongs in past.??? ON A SPIRITUAL LEVEL
WHY SAY ONE PERSON IS WEIRD and uplift yourself above another person
god loves everyone
why vegans do this
nothing spiritual or loving ab dead flesh...
meat eater and spiritual together in the same mouthful is total juxtaposition. An oxymoron. You can’t be both, just like you can’t be a meat eating environmentalist.
Suckmyballz Gameplays no you can’t. Eating meat and animal byproducts is the most harmful thing you can do for the environment.
Spreading awareness ...
Great words ! ;)
If we did not control animals we would only be left with vermin running around everywhere... especially rabbits
Very disturbing indeed 😕
If he was talking about a human, they would lock him up. This guy is incredibly delusional.
"Where are you living right now?" - "I'm not living anywhere, mate."
He's certainly not living in reality. The final hug, you can just tell nobody's home. lol
helswake you know you didn't mean to type that last lol
Except he's not talking about a human.
He is taking the piss out of Joey and his mad vegan views
@@lofinomad8315 He seems fairly serious.
If.
bro this is so dope! you really got through to him and inspired him thats why he wanted your opinions because he wanted to learn. There was love in that conversation man and I think you've made a huge impact on his life in only 20mins. This is mad
Joey - you are the Gold Standard for Vegan activism! Love you, brother.
Omg……"I want to experience what it feels like to create death"...wow that's like what a psychopath would say. This guy is really scary. Respect for continuing this conversation in your very calm and reasonable manner, Joey!
seed planted, i reckon
Joeys capability of being super calm the whole time is simply amazing.
He definitely has a problem because nothing he says is okay or makes sense
Hannibal Lecter in his 20's.
This guy scares me just a tad..
"you're not apart of the process" lol
Ham Bam ya he needs to keep saying that to make himself feel better
Authorities should keep an eye on this guy, he clearly has some serious physiological issues, holy fuck man....
Anyone that eats meat and claims it's spiritual is fake, they have a poor connection to creator.
Angela Qaiser NAZIR I'm not a fuking Christian i have no religion.
I’m 11 and I’ve been vegan for 4 years. And it was acc my choice. I’m proud to be vegan and this debate was interesting ! Keep up the good work !!
His arguments:
Nature tho
Nature tho
Nature tho
Nature tho
Nature tho
Nature tho
Nature tho
L.A Xavier No
L.A Xavier It's fallacious that's the point. Your question in response to the OP seemed silly.
Analytical Sentient // Alan's Vlog yeah not quite sure what point he was trying to make haha
He’s all about “what if” scenarios and cannot stay centered enough to grasp the very basic and obvious concept of not killing for pleasure.
Culture tho
Chickens will eat their own eggs and it's good for them. So why eat chicken periods? I'm not even sure he knows what he believes... he's all over the place and contradicting himself.
That's right.
Even the vegan preacher Gary Yourofsky admitted that, in his Retirement Letter last year ("Tag, you're it !") :
*"Since birds don’t menstruate, eggs are technically not a part of their period."*
Being vegan is not a excuse to spreading false facts. ;)
Smoke weed
You can literally see how done you are with this idiot towards the end. Wow. You should be accepted into sainthood Joey you are absolutely indefinitely patient.
Childhood trauma!
Indeed.
the halo of light around joey's head at 1:10 explains it all 😇
lmao, so true
Veganism gives you divine super powers
If you are spiritual then why kill something? A natural way to kill?
Cuz god likes animal sacrifices?
Spicey 123 My point exactly.
L.A Xavier
Nature is rocks, and fucking grass, and random genetic mutations. We are humans, we can choose to be better than nature. Fuck nature, do whats right. Go vegan
TheFettuck
Right. So prime example of humans being better than nature. Nature doesnt mean shit, and shouldnt be an excuse for unethical behavior.
TheFettuck
Theyre not sentient, so its totally fine. Why do you think sentience means nothing?
He still looked sick when he hugged Joey. I was expecting his eyes to be open and cold, instead he looked tired and unwell. Hope none of his negative energy got into Joey . It looked like he planted one on him........ Creepy !!
I instead would question what is wrong with you? Negative energy? Seems like you know nothing about "energy". Dude seemed like a good and genuine guy. What you wrote is very naive and childish...
shuki jipota so if someone feels a need to kill you because they've enjoyed watching you grow up, Your going to be very sympathetic, and say
WOW possessive energy man..... The guys a creep and I'm glad he's not in my family. His consciousness has not looked into the health
Side of meat and dairy, Cancer, Heart Deceases, strokes, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, MS etc etc etc if He's holistic organic like we are, then he
Better do some more research quickly!!
shuki jipota positive not possessive
Thanks!
Jenni Reid well Jenni, you are an inspiration x
Hug at the end was so beautiful. So well done here he seemed like he needed someone to help him question his ideas and you did that so well.
This was a fantastic example of how to end a discussion that has hit a dead end at that point in time on a good note. I suspect this man will think about what was discussed and may change his mind about killing someone to feel 'a connection with the process'
The way he hugged you at the end tho
This guy was talking so much BS it was unbelievable! He says he wants to needlessly murder an innocent animal to bring himself closer to the way of life and that he wants to eat eggs because that helps him connect with the circle of life. When in reality he's probably living with his mum and would miss his scrambled eggs in the morning too much!
is this is spirituality😦😞 most spiritual people are vegan and honor all life form
Chafficq 0174chafficq no...this not a spiritual way to live
TheFettuck Don’t use the plant argument it takes more plants to feed livestock than it is just to eat it ourselves. Animals are sentient beings. YES, plants are living but they ain’t sentient mate, No nervous system. Just a plant.
I would have struggled not to lose my shit. Proud of you Joey. X
You've had a lot of good vids Joey but is one of THE best I've seen from anyone. Thanks so much, keep it up!🌍🌱🐄🐖🐣🦃✌
His reasoning to have one blood sacrifice to repent for all his sin is so closely linked to the Christ sacrifice story. This partially demonstrates this odd connection humans have with blood sacrifice. I still don’t understand it though.
People throw the “spiritual” label around just because it sounds cool
“Pseudo Spiritual”
Exactly 👌
Iceman so are from Iceland?
A. W. V. W would be Greenland not Iceland :P
Joey is so concise and to the point, you can see he's such a well experienced advocate. It's so inspiring, he doesn't take any shit, but he's never rude and always maintains respect for who he's talking to. I love you Joey
You really are a vegan saint !
Are you going to the pig slaughterhouse Animal Liberation protest in Melbourne
8:26
"In the big scheme of things"
What???
Please... just leave them alone... Just leave them alone. Just leave them alone. Alone.... Alone... It's that easy... Alone...
Joey.....God is praising you more tban you realize and one day he will reward you Thank you for doing what you do and doing it well 💞
i had a spiritual awakening back in 2014 and the FIRST THING i did when i realized who i was and who the animals were and how the system worked was GO VEGAN!!! well vegetarian at first but for like a month and after watching documentaries and videos like this i went full vegan!! never been better!! more spiritual than ever!! stronger, faster wiser etc.. its crazy how your life improves just by doing whats natural
I love how the cloud by his face looked like a heart. True compassion will help us evolve much more. :)
I see those muscles coming in Joey. ;-) Great discussion. Sadly, this poor kid just isn't a very rationally thinking person. Your socratic methodology is exactly what people like him need to develop their critical thinking skills.
Great points raised in the debate but Joey never lets the guy finish a point without either cutting him off or finishing his sentences!!
You’re amazing.
Love Watching and learning from you Joey! Thank you for what your doing in inspiring other people to make the connections.
That was great Joey.
Sending love to this brother.
Exactly! it's the same thing as killing humans, it should only be done out of survival, not for fucking pleasure
......don't put plants, fungi and bacteria in the same fucking bubble as humans and animals, it's NOWHERE near the same.
LOL no....
hahahaha uuummmm ok....
He will never forget you. The concentration and time you gave him, listening and giving wise advice. Salute you Joey.
Wow, confused.com
Joey, you are becoming a legend. Well done Sir. Good work, great reasoning and debate.
Joe, this guy is trolling you I think..
5c4v3ng3r I agree that he’s a total troll
That's great! He is the standing emblem of all possible intellectual positions that purport to denounce veganism; it is thus a prime opportunity to provide clarity and denounce the erroneous, commonplace narratives that are both deceiving us and providing a false justification for persons not to CHANGE.
its admireable how you stay calm. I tend to get angry when people are repeating their pointless arguments over and over. Most are not even able to listen and that's the moment where I have to stop before loosing it completely 🙈
Odd bloke.... 🤔
Joey! You're great!! Love your videos. Best from Uruguay.
Is that an old video? It seems to be sooo hot outside. I wish i was there.. we have a snow aboun a 1.5 moth, but its nothing new coz im in Russia((
research Australia :P
brightgeistmovies oh thats cool.
There is more than one area’s temperature in the world 🌍 🌞✌️
November is springtime in Australia.
I love your argument here Joey! You are brilliant! I’m going to spread your word!
His egg argument is unintelligent though.
Dude if we all had to hunt animals, there would be SO many people going vegan
I meant if the meat eaters had to hunt
Christian De Vos exactly- that's why I want this dude to kill an animal and get it out of his head lol
This is a good example of how twisted the human mind can be to just justify its own behavior.
Joey you get better at this everyday!!!!
Dudes like this will make any excuse for their immoral behavior.
"CULTURE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!"
-Terence McKenna
I must say it's one of your most interesting interviews
So unfortunate we even have to have these conversations
Brilliant work Joey. Keep smashing it mate :)
I gotta say I really enjoy how easily Joey disarms any argumemt and leaves his ("competition?") With silly arguments that you can tell even they know has no weight to it. People just really want to be right!
Keep yourself pushing Joey 💪
Great work as always Joey! Keep up the great work!!!
I feel like he really needed that hug....
