    Kansas also has a player on both the Mavs and Celtics. Markieff Morris in Dallas and Svi Mykhailiuk in Boston

    Pitino was in a similar situation back in the late 90s. After winning a championship at Kentucky and almost winning two in a row he left for the Celtics, which didn't work out, and to this day he regrets leaving Kentucky..Dan Hurley said on the Mike Francesca podcast that he was definitely open to the right NBA opportunity. Although I'd rather see him stay at uconn for the food of college basketball. We need that Guy to be the next coach K, so other programs can take em down!! Lol

    The choice here is a ton of money and unhappiness and a dented career or merely big money, continuing happiness and possibly legendary status. If he goes to LA I give him maybe 2 years if his head doesn't explode in practice or the locker room in the first season. A motivating force might be UConn's public school, Big East status and the looming money is everything transformation of basketball.
