Just a lil' advice about a misconception in ur vizla part. There is no "clan da manda". It's not a name, but an insult, used to refere to disgraced mandalorians, who are basicly seen as banished from society n mando culture. It roughly means "no longer mandalorian, likely with the usual broad range in alternative interpretations, Bu5 unlike erueti "not 1 of us" has a wiggleroom n can b read as a neutral clarification or even to further highlight praise in saying how big of an achievement such praise is for an outsider to recieve n also the term can b used in contexts as bad as meaning traitor, da manda allways is negative n even the seemingly neutral ttranslation, is at best an insult in a polite way formulated. The term allways implies the opinion the user has about thoae it means. The fact of ppl concidered that, act unimpressed or indiffrrent to being called it, only underlines the correctness of that judgement since it shows a lacking valuation of their heiritage, if they don't care to b rejected from it. An obvious coping mechanism that can only make it worse. But that is prolly what might makes players think of it as a clan name, seeing how uneffected their leader behaves as well as the group, who use it as a name for their gang. But it's just that, a band of pirates made of disgraced ex mandos, who embraced that role, where the clan they support fights to get back the reapect they lost, the same way.
I remember like well over a decade ago, not much experience in this game yet and it was all so new and shiny. I loved the movie sequence scene with Satele rushing to the aid of the Republic Trooper kicking and slicing acolytes with her blue double bladed lightsaber! My mind was blown! It was the first major appearance of a double bladed saber other than Bastilla in KotOR and Maul in TPM. It was incredible! First blue one ever seen at that point! Then to find out that Satele is in fact an ancestor of Bastilla and Revan...... Absolutely one of the greatest Star Wars moments in my life! I'm still playing this game so many years later. Granted I have not played it nonstop for over a decade but I generally haven't gone more than a year without playing it at least a little. I always go back to the game. I can get bored with it and take long breaks but again... I always come back
I really do enjoy Lana as a character. Especially from the Republic side of things, she really has no personal reasons to trust in you as a leader, but she does and realizes over time the great leader you can be, choosing to fight for that
This kind of story version of the SWTOR characters lives is great! Love it. I had always wanted a video summary of their stories to listen to, thanks for this video :)
The force works in mysterious ways. Darth Zannah, for example, was still a figure of beauty in her 30's. With no sign of decay from using the dark side. Imagine how well someone like Satele could preserve their appearance while attuned to the light. Maybe it makes sense.
The sustaining power of the light side of the Force increases one’s viability. That’s why beings like Yoda and the Dark Woman An’ya Kuro are so effective in battle despite being so old
Jedi master fay was a near human who was centuries old and was a near human who shouldn’t have lived that long. She never killed a living being and was never seeen using a lightsaber after she became a knight and even when she was a master. She became a nomad and only followed the will of the force. She had longevity in life by following the will of the force. Theirs one example
This game/era is one of my most favorite in star wars. Darth Marr is the sw character i relate to the most in the entire galaxy. SWTOR is such a gold mine, and the way EA has just let it go to wastw blows my mind🤯 hopefully broadsword can revive love for this game. SWTOR has been active since 2011, making it one of the longest running mmorpg's to ever exist, so there's definitely a lot of money there. The problem is, ppl aren't gunna spend on sht that isnt worth it, and its easier to just hype a new game, despite it being released unfinished, than to put effort into a game that already existst. Even one as objectively successful as star wars. Hopefully broadsword makes good decisions and shows EA how much money there still is in this game w/new expansions and quality content
@whillb OK, but swtor is still a great game. Also the servers are down but swtor's isn't yet, so hopefully broadsword will pull somethin amazing out their butt w a new expansion. But I'm staying cautiously optimistic
They need to get rid of the voiceless cutscenes, indefinitely. That'd be a start. I came back last month after a 9 year hiatus, and hoooooly shit. So much has changed. The last thing I remember was being ready to take on the Hutt Cartel, on the Shadowlands server, finally hitting level 50, then my life as an adult began. Now, Im older, wiser, stronger, and taking on the galaxy with an ROG AllyZ1.
I can't lie, star wars is and has always been my favorite scifi media, but I really wish they'd have had a giant universal menace like the flood/zerg/reapers, the unknown regions and outside of the galaxy was sorta wasted imo the Vong just aren't that scary and abeloth really isn't either, the force shouldnt have an upper limit to its power, it should be an infinite power that runs through the whole universe and there should be like a whole race of abeloths that are all that powerful
There is potential for it. They need to go forward in time. But they could in theory set this kind of stuff up with what is introduced (in Rebels?) and reintroduced in Ahsoka
I’m trying to memorize swotor history and I find it impossible, like please explain to me how u even manage to have all this memorized or if you have to read a script for the vid or something
I have *most* things committed to memory :) But I still fact check myself using game codex entries and the encyclopaedia and also cutscenes. Ask me anything, test my knowledge!
I have the old republic encyclopedia and it’s so overwhelming since I haven’t played the game, there’s so much info packed in the book. I got down the basic timeline after like 30 minutes of looking at it.😂
Oh yes, the good old days, I still remember when SWTOR came out. The Inquisitor story was always one of my favorites. Fighting against my master Zash for the first time gave me goosebumps. really good old days ❤
The Dark saber does not exist actually until near the Darth Bane era. It's said the creator of the Dark saber is one of the Jedi who perished with the thought bomb on ruusan.
Really? In rebels they say "it was stolen in sacking of courescant" then shows what looks like slim female super commando w darksaber its cannon , so thats another person than shae? So theres two - 3 temple sacking? Malgus Mandalorian & vader? Pre Vizsla is her relative and he said "it has blood of hundreds of jedi"? He reffering to a mandalorian? Or to a darksider? Cuz why would Tar Vizsla kill jedi? Ruuson? Thought bomb?
@@JLoC.2479 The sacking you refer to, is when order 66 happened and Sidious seized all Jedi artifacts and the like. Including the Dark saber. The sacking of corsucant from the old republic era is different. This refers to Malgus and his assault which happened 3,700 years before the Rebels show. The Dark saber was created by a Mando Jedi who later died during the Darth Bane era. Meaning the saver was created 1000years or so before the Rebels show.
I'd think that the continuity error could be solved by makin sado's tomb a symbolic one. With his story ending on yavin4 it's unlikely that there even was anything left to bury there n it could have been made as one that actually was a memorial then an actual resting place. He wouldn't have returned n the sith from the time, would have not remembered him ondly after he f'ed up the empire. His actions would have taken so much time to pass b4 they could have commanded respect enough, that there would b hardly a chance that ppl know where he went to 4 exile. Even knowing freedom nad's or exar kun's roots to lead to yavin, it still isn't a give away of their connection to his legacy. Maga ragnos' spirit is the only entity that possibly knew n also resided on korriban. Since it was his life's achievement that sado destroyed, it's unlikely that he'd see a point in leading other's to that place. Not in cont3xt to sado at least. More because of his attempted next legacy, kun n ulik.

No problem 😁
Where are the missing 15 minutes? The people want their 15 minutes!
I had to reupload this a few times and adjust some scenes. This shortened it by about 40 minutes! Blame UA-cam and their unclear fair use policy 🤣

Agree!
