  • Aloo fry, ಆಲೂಗಡ್ಡೆ ಫ್ರೈ, is a delicious food you would like to make it often. As a side dish or snack, aloo fry has a strong fit. This dish is also known as, among others, crispy aloo fry or crispy potato fry. For food like chapati, roti and naan, aloo fry is nothing but a lip-smacking companion.
    The golden-brown crispy outer layer and soft inner part of the aloo or potato cubes make it an absolute delight to relish aloo fry. On a cold or rainy day, crispy aloo fry with a fresh cup of tea or coffee would be a perfect combination for a joyous time.
    Because the aloo fry recipe is so simple, with a few, common ingredients and a few, simple steps, you can prepare this dish easily.
    In addition to good quality, old potatoes, you need items like rice flour, jeera, garam masala, chilli powder, mustard seeds, and oil to make aloo fry. After you chop the potato into cubes of desired size, mix it with flour, powders and half-spoon of oil and set it aside for fifteen minutes. Next, fry the mixture, on a low flame, in a pan with about one-and-a-half spoon of oil, till the aloo or potato cubes become crispy.
