Nothing like John bashing around in the garden!
Wow. I have never seen anyone garden like that. Your energy is amazing. Thank you for your video 😊
Johns energy is contagious❤. I have learned nature is strong and so am I. We don’t have to be so careful planting. My husband was concerned when I asked for a pitch fork😂 😂😂
...... lol ...me too ...I,m after a pickaxe !
John is back all is well in the world.
You will love the Rosa mutabilis and I look forward to seeing in in bloom. The single blooms are like delicate butterflies. Thank you for all your videos.
Very nice video! Thank you very much. As far as the clocks, Spring Ahead, Fall Back. That’s how we were taught to remember which way the clocks go.
Great watching a master at work.
My Aussie ears love listening to you.
Great start to the day, John and his energy in the garden! Some lovely plants today. I love Weigela.
John great to see you back in action.Hydrangea querquefolia is a beauty and is equally good in shade.
Have learned so much from your videos . Thank you
Great watch John…..fun filled too
John is back! Yeah!
Wonderful seeing you John Lord❤
I am guilty of being one of those elephants going in to read the labels. Although I do try to be mindful of where I step. Even without a label there are apps to help identify the plant. I wish that a list of all the plants in a garden were available everywhere I go, then I wouldn't do that. Especially if the list had pictures so that I didn't have to lookup every plant to find the one that I spotted.
I am really looking forward to seeing this garden when everything comes in.
I find that if I photograph unknown plants at a botanical garden I can find a gardener eventually who is happy to tell me all about it.
Hello John and David just lovely to see you, thanks for info I learn such a lot from you and the names of plants on screen is a bonus, ❤️🏴
John Lord, fabulous to see you!
A pleasure as always to watch your videos John. Could you do a tour of your hardy Geraniums please? Many thanks
Johns the best
Oak leaf hydrangea (I have one in America) get large and wide. Amazing foliage especially in autumn.
Grew up with an oak leaf hydrangea in the Pacific Northwest, climate similar to Ireland. Beautiful, graceful plant. We used to let the flowers dry and have them all year inside.
John great to see another upload👌 Damien gardening channel from Cork city
I look forward to seeing the plants etc progress in the videos as the weeks go by. Can’t wait for all my plants to bloom. Just glad to see spring is here. My collection is getting quite large, lucky I have a good size garden 😂 propagating will be fun over the next few years. I get lots of inspiration and knowledge watching your vids Mr Lord.
Great video. Thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge, I’ve been moving things around to get the contrasting foliage , colours and shapes. And- the geraniums I picked up from your videos have sprung up!!! I’m delighted!!! I might actually be able to grow plants with your help🌱
Nice and warm, nice and easy. North central Florida where the winters are cold, and done with!
I think you are really going to like that oak leaf hydrangea! I live in the southeastern United States and we have to plant ours where they get good afternoon shade (it's so hot here in summer). The panicles are long lasting, I love the peeling bark on the branches, and the autumn color is sensational. Don't prune it unless absolutely necessary, it blooms on old growth, mine is about 16 feet tall (it's 25 years old) and I love it!
Cheers from North Carolina USA
One of my favorite trees in my yard is the Bald Cypress .. looks evergreen in summer providing shade and in winter loses all of its greenery ... tolerated wet and dry conditions. Like I said one of my favorite trees.
Hi John sir 🌹🌹😊😄
Dear John, Green is not a primary colour! It;s a combination of blue and yellow....
Oak leafs hydrangeas are an amazing 4 season plant. The flowers, amazing fall color, then when they get older they get peely papery bark. What variety its it? cause the regular native ones given time can become a small 15 by 15ft tree. Then theres ones like little honey or munchkin that only get 3 by 3ft
i thought that rhododendron were the scourge of the english countryside. am i mistaken?
You're a gas man!
I absolutely love the H. Quercifolias - they look glorious for months and the Autumnal foliage stays on until after the New Year.
Deer ate my two Oakleaf Hydrangeas 😞
😂😂😂😂the rose be dead 😂😂😂🌹👌
Ahh...The "P" word.. Gardener's World won't be happy!
Hey mate, never pick or shovel these are the 20s get an excavator
I subscribed and have loved watching your videos. But I am sorry, I can't accept gardening with peat. That just goes against my beliefs about what gardening is about. Certainly not about ruining the environment long term to just make your immediate environment nicer for the short term. Sorry unsubscribed.
