I had a 2016 ED Laramie, 4x4 and with an 80/20 Highway/City drive I averaged 26 MPG pretty consistently. My best trip was one down to LA from NC and I averaged 30.5 MPG... The ED Rebel will get 25-27 on the highway with ease.
My Laramie got 18- 22mpg from Oregon to Montana and back. That’s with 1000lbs of welding tools in the bed. If these numbers stay at 30mpg or so I’m ordering one. I do have a 3.21 rear end that makes a difference.
@@overtheclouds9 The Laramie might get the advertised mpg but the rebel gets 17 on the highway. So when they make these claims about a diesel rebel getting such and such they know they're basically lying to sell a trim level
Not to sound dumb, but do the half ton Diesel engines use DEF fluid?
They do use def. There is a fill-up port inside the fuel filler door. There is a def gauge on the lower left side of the instrument cluster.
Hmm should I get this or the canyon?
This!!! Or wait for the diesel Jeep Gladiator in 6-10 months.
A bit late of a reply but buddy I have the diesel Colorado and I’m trading it in for a Ram Ecodiesel. I 100% agree get this.

1000 mile range? This is the same company that promised 22 highway mpg from the rebel when you really get 17
I'm going to drive one and we are going to find out.
