catch Grizzbolt at the sanctuary, you can avoid inbreeding and cut out the first 2 steps.

Holy shit Rage! I was looking up palworld tutorials and saw this video and recognized the voice then looked at the channel name and had to confirm by sorting by oldest videos that it was still you! The hole capture which pal and showing each breed in order is awesome and very helpful.
FYI, Helzephyr spawns 100% of the time at the gobfin fast travel, Gobfin Beach or w/e its called. There's always 2 or 3 if you travel there at night.
Just be advised, you won't be able to make a saddle for Shadowbeak until level 47, so you'll want to have a high-level person make you one, or you'll be walking for 28 levels waiting for it.

Quick note for the passive pals like daedream and dazzi: the command 'don't attack' also works on them, not just the active pal. Found that out by accident, but up til that point I just thought I had to catch them before they killed the thing. Wasted so many damn balls...

Thanks for this video, back tracking breeding chains is something I'm struggling with. You should do more of these, because I'd love to have the knowledge to move Lucky from my easy to catch Lifmunk or Lamball up to something impressive like Faleris or Suzuku

I love the breeding. I bred a Felaris with Runner, Swift, Stronghold Strat, Vanguard. She is SOOOOO Fast.
I had bred my way to Ragnahawk with those features days earlier. So, got lucky, got Jortuntide Ignis out of egg. Was right off the main island from the refuge.
Ragnahawk fits thru the dungeons, pass the riffraff and get straight to loot n boss.
I had to build 3 viewing cages to free up space, juiced as many as I could. Lol
The pacing in this video made me lose a few iq points

I've just recently bred my perfect base Anubis. Lucky, Conceited, Workslave and Artisan...... he gets things done QUICKLY lol I can't wait to get my hands on a legendary to breed Legend into my favorites 😊 great vid can't wait for the next
Legend is best for battle over base pals
Anubis is the best workhorse ever! After I finish mass breeding Astegon to max out my main Astegon via the Pal Essense Condenser, I might do the same with Anubis
At 4 stars he gets lvl5 handiwork which makes him craft even faster
@ManicallyMetal oh I know, I just haven't been breeding fighting pals yet. I've just been trying to breed my workers. I have Cows and Vixys with the same stat spread as well...... farming is going VERY well here lol

The first Jetdragon I caught has max ATK and DEF IV Hp is about 22% … and it got swift as third passive.. almost perfect

This will be very helpful, I've been breeding to pick up some Pals i missed along the way, Shadowbeak being one of them.
I've also came across one interesting thought along my way of breeding: What is the most amount of unique pal species you can obtain via breeding with only two pals to begin with?
I've been tempted to try this for myself but i haven't had time to follow up with it.
Would assume lamball-shadowbeak could be a good choice

Astegon is not the best miner. It gets suck on trees, it gets stuck in the hotspring, it gets stuck in each other. Everytime I tp to my mining base I find them hungry injured and weakened. I got tired of reseting them everyday and subbed in Blazemuts. Blazemuts are fuken nice. They don't get stuck on anything and help with furnaces when there's no more nodes to farm.
Ffs, I spent several hours over the weekend trying to do this, I got distracted, and instead I bred 103 Anubis. Now I have workers for days, my mining bases are quite literally full. :O
*I caught all 137! I have a long way to go to actually getting "good versions" though.*

Out of all the videos on Palworld atm, this is by far the most entertaining and most informing video of the lot. Appreciate the effort you put in to construct this video. earned my sub keep it up
You forgot to mention that you need to be level 47 in order to get the shadowbeak and astegon saddle. So even though you can get them early you can’t use them as a mount until your almost max level.
but you can quickly ride any other Pal you breeded.

You can start at lv19, but you'll be able to build the saddle by the time you get the optimal passive combination, acceptable IV, enough spares to condense to max, and enough souls to max.

man i found shadow in the wild level 45 came up first time i went at night catch it so easy with high status i got really lucky he will only come out at night in the north area island. just to say if u don't have it yet.
I did the math and once you get one creature helzephr tier , I got Pyrin Noct out of an egg I found, it does not matter which one, you can backtrack a tree to Shadowbeak. I did the same thing with just a Pyrin Noct. I have beaten only first boss and bred my way to level fifty. Took me a day to breed Shadowbeak ( well the first day to do the breeding tree) Cryolynx is the hard one and I’m doing him today. Turns out you get just as much exp bonus for breeding a Pal as you do from capturing it.
Relaxaurus ive caught all comes with glutton.

getting mossanda at lvl19 is not easy in any way. And for the cake you will also need a chiken, a cow, and a bee, the bee being an explosive ass to get.

Some "early pals" -> Kitsun Variations (just in case):
Nitewing + Daedream = Kitsun
Nitewing + Gummoss = Kitsun
Nitewing + Tanzee = Kitsun
Sweepa + Gummoss = Kitsun
Sweepa + Tanzee = Kitsun

Obviously you can not ride it but it can still attack.

It’s not though. You get the same experience breeding a pal including the capture bonuses as you do catching one in the wild. I hit level fifty just breeding my Shadowbeak and maxing the number of the high tier pals. The only problem I hit is I ran out of tech points for their gear. I got all the materials just making and selling nails to the traders near the volcano. Took me one real day to breed a Shadowbeak And hit Level fifty. I just need tech points now so I’m running all the bosses and fast travel points today. ( I’ve only explored about a fifth of the map and killed the first boss.
It does not have to be a Helzepher. If you get Any pal of that tier you can make a breeding tree path to all the top tiers. It’s just a lot of math
@@puppybasket3906If you're that high level, just go around the Sanctuaries to check the chests for loot.
They'll usually have either Accesoiries or Technical Manuals in them.
The 2 end-of-dungeon chests also have a decent chance at dropping Technical Manuals.
And a High Grade Technical Manual is 1 'free' Tech point you can spend on unlocking stuff.
And if you can get Lyleen, its drop table contains the Innovativa Tech Manual. Which gives 2 Tech points on use. So... Do with that knowledge as you will.

The best flying mount aside from Jetragon is Faleris, not Shadowbeak. Shadow may be faster, but Faleris covers several times the distance before running out of stamina.

You need to do a video on Incineram it's secretly broken but everyone sleeps on it because it's regarded as an early game trash enemy.
Hellfire claw is a 2-hit 70 base damage exclusive move. Making it effectively 140 damage in a short period of time.
Icineram's partner skill is also a seperate cooldown for the same move but it can be upgraded meaning the damage can go even higher.
It's also fire damage so flame emperor can be applied to it.
Yeah, and he's easy to breed. In hard mode, where hatching eggs are too long, it helps that his egg is not big in size. But to balance him, he got 2 elemental weaknesses, dragon and water. His noct version has no elem benefit from fire, which is his exclusive skill.
@@amazingcola2479 2 weaknesses but also 3 strengths since this game does have some form of STAB implemented according to player experimentation.
Anyways I personally prefer regular Incineram if for no other reason than the ibex horns over deer antlers.

honest question, why breed an OP dark type that is only good against neutral type? also if your going for a specific type build pal its actually better to go for the passive that corresponds with the type for example flame emperor for fire type, those passives actually give you 20% damage with those type moves.

6 breeds my ass, its taken me over 12 breeds now bc I can't get the right male/female to spawn from eggs

Yah they have too many breeding combinations. I only have 4 bosses and 4 to breed (one from a boss) left to get in the game. This is hard because the Lifemunk Effigies are not working right and mine is maxed at level 10. My character is level 50 and my base level 20. I also have all the Pal Gear unlocked through level 30 so far, but only about half are actually built. Sadly I have only found 3 Lucky Pals and killed one of them and I have yet to find ANY legendary schematics. I have avoided using any glitches and hacks.
You mention nothing about the cakes needed for breeding. Which includes honey but is it possible to get that are 19?

What lvl does shadowbeak get divine disaster?
Not worth the time and effort.
Shadowbeak's signature attack unlocks only at level 40. He can be mounted only at level 47. He's useless as working pal with lvl1 harvest. It would take way too long to breed out negative passives like "coward" "glutton" "clumsy" that always come with Cattiva and Relaxaurus.
At level 20 he's a dead weight.
Doesn’t matter how long it takes, if u just train urself up he’ll be useful the second you get to level 40

@George-qx4fzdon't fool yourself, you don't have the production capabilities to finance a nail selling ammo buying operation so early. the best remains xbow for a long time until you're well estabilised.
I cheesed it (The game) at around lvl 10 and got the boss version at one of them icy peaks and yeah... alot of hp
If you try to get some good passives on it you‘ll end up breeding a lot more and get 10 of a lot of different Pals that way which will level you up quickly. I started breeding as soon as I could in the early 20s and tried to get every good passive except for Legend (because I couldn‘t access that yet) and 100 IV on every stat (viewable in game thanks to a mod). When I finally got a Shadowbeak (and all the other Pals along the way) with Musclehead, Ferocious, Lucky and Swift (placeholder until Legend) and 100 IV on every stat - I was already Level 42. And because I condensed all the rejects that didn‘t inherit the right passives or perfect IVs, I could also immediately get them up to 4 stars.
Man I found shadowbeak in the wild at level 45 where u ask go find it urself 😂😂😂😂 I have all pals maxed out and 9999 of everything in the game just to easy 😅 I didn't breed Any u dont have to they are all in the wild u know that rightttt???? 😂😂😂
PLEASE EMPHASIZE THAT YOU NEED A MALE ZEPHYR AND FEMALE CAT FOR IT TO WORK. IF YOU DID IN THE VIDEO IT WAS MISSED ENTIRELY SO IF ANYONE WASTED THEIR TIME MAKING MULTIPLE FEMALE KATSUN WITH A MALE CAT AND FEMALE ZEPHYR KNOW THIS!!

This video would have more credibility if you actually just started a new game and did this at lvl 19, not at lvl 50 and one shotting anything that aggro'd you. I have tried for quite some time now to catch some of these at lvl 20 and have had multiple pals incapacitated and had to run away. Its not as easy as this video makes it out to be.
It's OK to redo your settings to easiest. I mostly bred my way to a full paldeck. You just need to get a few in the World, go egg searching. I got ALOT of " higher on the deck" ones from just flying around and collecting eggs. My hatching is set to nothing, it is seconds. My problem is room. I had to build viewing pens to move lower level ones.
