I just spent all day sunday creating the perfect one, for some reason I really wanted it to have swift, runner, max stam and Demigod!!! it took all day.
Fun Fact: The higher the IV score (the numbers you see to the right with the Glasses) don't always equal having even half decent passive stats. Breeding for IV's is a whole different fiasco then breeding for passives. Don't try combining both equations into a single breeding session unless you want to go (even more) insane.
@@Calebtheninja115 Yes, they do. The potions directly boost the IV as if the Pal always had it; unlike the player stat potions which are a completely separate modifier.
You don't need any beds and food in your breeding base if you only have breeding pals in. It's even recommended to put in a monitoring stand with the max work rate setting so they make eggs faster because they can't get tired or hungry in the pens. Also, use the monitoring stand to assign pals to breed faster instead of running and throwing them in.
2:51 those are actually stalactites. Stalagmites are the ones that grow up from the ground because of the sediments dripping down the stalactites. An easy mnemonic device is “StalacTITES hold tight to the ceiling and stalagMITES might reach them.”
Interesting how many different ways that we're told to identify the difference. The way I was told to differentiate them was to use the G/C in StalaX, G for Ground, C for Ceiling. lmao - StalaCtites grow down from the CEILING - StalaGmites grow up from the GROUND
The feybreak update has been so good! I started a new world/character over Christmas and the whole experience feels even better now! I love the idea of breeding perfect yakumo's to make finding strong pals easier in the future, will deffo have to give that a go 😁 Keep up the awesome work as always Cade, hope you achieve all your 2025 goals! ❤
So two things to note here, one: check those Gobfins for vanguard, as they're by far the best to pair with that due to the passive damage boost they give just being in the party (Vanguard pushes that further). And two: you can also use the new philanthropist skill to increase breeding speeds even further if both pals have it in their set. Also love that you used Yakumo for the skill finding, as it took me until this update to learn that too.
I moved on from anubis to seylene they have the same handiwork but meds 3 instead of mining and transporting 3 which is 1 tier higher, and for mining I made a separate base that has 3 hexolite spawns and an oil tap. All I had there was knocklems which are tier 4 mining and transporting. Forgot to mention seylenes are intrinsically nocturnal and do not sleep at all which is very helpful if you play with friends and host is afk
You want busted speed? Try Dazemu on earth; can't control it with the max speed traits. It's not only desert, any ground that's brown works for the ability.
If you're going to use mods and you're looking for wild pals with specific traits that you're not going to condense (meaning you don't need a pal box full of them), you should use the mod that tells you all the stats of a wild pal just by aiming at it. That way, you don't waste time catching a ton of pals you don't need because they don't have the passives you want.
@@nicholasmaio3153 The one I use is called Pal Details (UI). I got it from Nexus Mods, created by DekitaRPG. With that mod, I searched for over 2 hours for a Smokie with Vanguard. I can't imagine how long it would've taken me if I had to catch everything just to find out what passives they had.
Hey Cade, recently got into Palworld and your channel. One thing to note on this video is that you didn't craft the Yakumo saddle, which unlocks the passive that allows other pals to gain it's passives. I did the same thing when I tried to capture Jetragon. I'm not 100% sure on this either, but given the passive part is also locked behind the saddle craft, it makes sense.
Suggestion: breed and condense a Smokie for optomal chromite farming. Also if you haven't already, make the coin duping machine to commit fraud and make stocking up on supplies more efficient. You pals' sanity does deplete quickly when they work on it but that's because they know getting busted by the cops for this and for how much money you're forcing them to dupe would get them a lifetime sentence.
Using the monitoring stand is game changing in this update you can assign task for specific pals instead of having to carry them to the job you want them to do or wait for them to do it and you can manage was you want them to work on like handiwork or mining ect
Not sure if you ever figured out IVs, but no they aren't important when it comes to speed. Those IVs are Attack, Health, and Defense, whenever they are at 100 (their cap) they give an extra 30% to that stat. Now, add souls 60% and you have 90% boost, plus traits. They are very important for attack pals/bossraid pals.
if you have a pal like dogen that can teleport you home to your nearest base and you use its ability (at lvl 1 takes 1000 seconds to recover) in order not to have to wait for the ability to cool down put them in your pal box and take them out again. i was using this with dogen lvl 1 to gain ore until i was over incumbered then i would teleport home put everything in the nearby chest and dogen into and out of the pal box and i would then go get more.
I've been breeding the Frostallion and Dark version. Might not be the best mount, but its cute and I like that I can stay in the air the whole fight and can shoot off it to help kill stuff and tame. Tried the Jetdragon but didn't like it. I thought they took them to bed too, when they died, but they never did. The body just disappears
When breeding to pass on your passive skills, it's better to keep them low level and one way to do that is to not have anything else going on in your base except breeding. They will gain levels if other pals are doing tasks. Also, another thing to note is say both parents have 1 or 2 good passives and then 2 empty slots. You have better chances of them getting good passive skills in those empty slots or ones that you want and then change parents and breed, the optimum pal
did you know that max pals and max basses is caped in server settings. the max nr of pals inn a base is 50 and nr of bases is 10. but to get there you need to turn the limit up.
I caught a ton of rushboars and got 2 rainbow passives: Eternal Engine and Diamond Body way faster and reagent/gold cheaper than using ultimate spheres. then I just bred Yakumo's with both of those and went hunting lol
From my experience it easier to breed for diamond skills. Also if the two pals you’re breeding have no skills(blank) from what I’ve seen they find a skill you want easier, or a lot of cool skills you would want on other pals.
The only one you should make perfect is gRIZZbolt, he can breed into some of the most powerful pals, including boss palls. It's like a Pokemon version of Ditto. All other Pals you should just only breed them for good traits. Speed/Attack/Cooldowns/Skills.
you should try to use the teleportation skill of him - Bolt Blink ... it can teleport from under water to the high oilrig or high cliffs very very easy :D ... this is not fastest but coolest pal coz of teleportation :D ...
I don't know if it correlates, but you haven't even made the Yakumo saddle to activate the partner skill. Maybe that's why it doesn't really feel like it's working.
Tarantriss may not be the fastest mount out there, but her web shooting ability and double jump makes her a fun pal to ride around with, she is also good at doing tight turns as well. That might be a fun next project for ya if you're bored. ;)
Bro I just bred what I thought was a “perfect Anubis” with artisan, lucky, serious and work slave to then learn there’s a rainbow passive that give %75 work speed 😭
You know you can use the monitoring station to assign pals so you wouldn't have to pick the up manually oh you can also use the viewing cage to store extra pals I made a base for just viewing cages to store a ton of breeding pals.
I see you throwing pals in the breeding pens you don’t need to do that build a monitoring stand and you can assign pals to whatever areas are in the base instead of picking them up and throwing them It’ll pin them on said area and they won’t move from it unless they get hungry or night falls but after eating and/or waking up they’ll go right back to standing by the area you assign them
you know if you just build the stuff in the base that has the mats and then cancel the build it will put all the building's mats in your inventory right?
