Actually lost to this deck on a sim last year. It can certainly do things and it's reputation as a bad archetype works in it's favor (underestimate it at your own peril).
Now you got to do U.A.s and Gaia the Fierce Knight (Its got synergy with the Branded Cards funny enough since it's also a fusion based Strat. Spiral Fusion is not a OPT lol).

War rock really needs interaction, they just stare at the opponent their turn. A and if the opponent has a mosnter with more than 3k atk makes it really hard to out with out going minus.
