I speed pulled it from the list, but it will still be mentioned here and there! 2nd, there is a wording difference between TCG and OCG that would alter the function of some of the effects. I mentioned it in the video as well, but just pointing out here too, and 3rd, I was inspired to further work on this deck so it is a work in progress, enjoy!!
any advice on changing this deck to fit the current master duel meta comprised of mostly runicks, branded, and anything shaddols and invoked can force themselves into?
I just got to platinum and have kinda a half built version of this thats been working fairly well. I'll be showing it off after the holidays for Master Duel streams (hopefully in a more finished state)
I’m glad there is content on an older archetype, but almost the entire deck and external decks are just meta value cards making this “spice” build devoid of any flavor. I would rather dig deep and improve the uniqueness of this archetype than deliver a meta value pile.
If you someday make another war roxk deck list give a look to the "star" warrior guys, there is some jank otks you can do with the and skyla. Also there is the bew Pirite knight that summons a guy from hand and a token to opponent that gives you a safe attack target and board presence. And the battleguard echoes that searches some guys and flips cards face down if you ar on pirite knight.
I'm not sure if it works in Masterduel, idk if they're using the effects as described in TCG or OCG, but onto an open board, Attack w Meteoragon and use his boost at the start of damage calc, then use Fortias eff after. Hit in w Fortia and Gactos, your opp will have exactly 800lp, and you can then cowboy for game in mp2
Jokes aside, now that a deck such as Tenpai is meta, War Rock is a good pick for being an hard counter. Ruling wise, tcg and ocg works differently, so you have to follow the text you have on cards until eventual reprints.

Meanwhile I studied the battle stuff and I must confirm what you read, especially as Skyler's reprint came out after they were imported in the ocg yet her text remained the same. Furthermore such a big nerf would make no sense, so I assume it was made by error or for same strange reason. After all, Ghost Mourner just works differently between the formats and everyone has accepted. it.
Its so funny that War rocks loses to U.A, a much older deck with a similar premise, U.A even has more inetraction and more Otk lines (power jersey). I really can't understand why they made war rock this level of bad.

I feel like Rookie warrior lady might be an interesting tech choice for this deck
She is, and I did try her out. She shines more in the more controlly versions of the deck for sure
My skyler says special summon a level 5 or lower warrior monster from graveyard and doesnt say a war rock monster.

I mean Medium wins the game if you have the Level 7 on board turn 1, but how you are doing that?

@@pamonja4301 I think it wasn't well thought out mechanically, and then the support it got, while all net positive for the deck, just didnt do enough
