When I took the visor off to put the fog shield in I could not get that damn thing back on I read the pamphlet 10 times I swear to God I stood on my head even. Your video helped immensely it saved the day! Thank you very much I am so absolutely appreciative of you taking the time to make this video. The pamphlet simply didn’t give me the information I needed. Thank you
Great explanation and technique...pulling the visor forward to get the front round peg out for visor removal and especially to put the peg back in when reinstalling the visor is the key that no one else emphasizes. Thanks for posting.
Brilliant video, I would have saved hours if I had watched the bit about pulling the visor forward as it was refitted. Your explanation about how the 3rd lug ( that runs against the toothed cam ) was important made all the difference. Thankyou
I don't know how many takes you went through to come up with the Final Cut but that video was the most comprehensive and yet straight forward instruction on disassembly & reassembly of 'the necessary' that I, or indeed anyone, could have dreamed of... 10/10 & 100% subscribed... P.S. Do you take requests...! lol ... What I mean is, Sourcing & installing a good Hud Display...? Ideally with rear-view.
Dear Sportsbikeshop Video-Producer THANKS 🙏 A BUNCH 4 this video and Your detailed description of how to remove and attach the visor of a "Shoei Neotec 2" helmet. 2017 I‘ve bought a Neotec 2 at a 20% discount at the local motorcycle dealership, where I‘ve bought my "Pokey" (Yamaha MT 09 or FZ 09 like the AMERICANS like to dub the MT 09. Up until now, I‘ve cleaned the visor without removing it from the helmet. But IT IS REALLY MUCH MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE if the visor is removed beforehand. As I‘ve tried to attach the visor after the cleaning, it DIDN‘T WORK as it’s supposed to. BUT THEN, AFTER YOUR AWESOME DESCRIPTION, voilà in NEAR MINT condition. I guess it’s not rocket-science, but can be tricky though. Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Anyone that has a Cardo intercom, you absolutely need to use the TubsJackson mount. Can't tell you how much of a revelation it's been for the position of the intercom and zero wind noise too.
Thanks for the useful information. The absurd complexity of Shoei's visor connection system may deter me from buying another one once my current Neotec II needs replaced. I can change an Arai or Schuberth visor in 20 second or less. Doing it on a Shoei is often a five minute job. And there's no reason the company can't fix this. But your video may get me by until I buy something else.
How about adjusting the visor when you notice a draft while riding and notice the visor doesn't seal correctly? Is there a way to "pull" it tighter against the bead?
I've checked the helmet and the owners' manual and there's no obvious way to do this. If you can get the helmet to a Shoei dealer than I'm sure someone would take a look for you to see why it's not sealing correctly.
Watch out for holding the inner visor lever. I broke mine by holding it while inserting the visor and something went wrong, it does not fold in anymore.

Might be worst system ever. Nothing like changing a scratched visor and scratching the one you’re attempting to install much worse cuz it’s nearly impossible to align.
Are you friggin kidding me!! I can rebuild an engine top end, suture my own wounds, swim faster than most gamblers and perform complex mathematical equations but for the life of me NOT able to install this visor!!!!!!!!!!
