Straight to the point. I thought that impossible these days. Great video. Thanks.
That was the smoothest installation ever. I always struggle with mine
In 15 years of a pinlock in various visors I’ve never taken it out to clean it , just clean it while in helmet as I’ve got a SCHUBERTH c3 , never had a problem seeing 😊👍👍
this video helped how to remove pinlock by just pulling it.. i saves me time from now on. thanks a lot im just a beginner about helmets 😅
We're glad we could help!
Why take it out at all if you are not clearing the side that touches the visor?
exactly I am so confused 😃 😃
Probably in order to leave that priceless fingerprint on the side facing the visor...
That’s exactly what I was thinking!
Mine for example becomes shit after a while by itself. Taking it out and cleaning it helps
@@Luggruff you get shit between the visor and the pinlock? Dang.
You kind of blew right through getting the insert separated from the visor, which is why I tuned in, but thanks for the video.
If the pinlock insert surface that contacts the visor doesn't need cleaning, as per narrator, just leave it in place and clean with water, surely?
You only have to look at a pinlock insert and it scratches, they reduce visibility when riding at night so they’ve got some major flaws. In cold weather yes they’re worth it, but in average dry weather just crack your visor and enjoy better visibility.
very very sensitive to scratches. agree
I drive at night and a pinlock didn't really hurt me, just adds some reflection. But the lack of condensation is a huge benefit, especially at night
Is it ok to clean the side facing the visor? Mine got some dirt when I wiped my visor before I attached my antifog
Did it work?
@@elias-on-gta yes just use water
I wash the whole pin lock in luke warm water then air dry before wiping the insde, it seems to keep the selicon seal flxable, thr way that was shown there,s noneed to remove the pin lock at all
Thanks from Seattle Washington!
Thanks! :D
I just purchased new haha but will give clean a go being cheap this time round
I found that after a few years of use, my pinlock had a very thin layer of fine dirt on the inside facing which I had to clean.
This applicable in every pinlock lenses?
How do I remove my visor? Mine won't go off easily.
Essentially, that was very helpful 😋👌
I left my visor on the doughnut now it's a sticky mess of sugar and chocolate...........thumbs down for poor advice
I took it off, now i cant seem to get the air bubbles out
thank you man,it helps
I did this and now my pinlock is blurry :(
Why would you ever have to clean it ? It’s sitting on the inside sealed against the visor dirt and water shouldn’t be able to get on the pin lock at all no?
You did not listen to what he said then about only having to clean side facing your face?
i installed it with tiny gap and now even on inside I have microdust to get rid off... cleaning both sides
Thank you ..
What name that put your visor or lens? The black one
Why mine still gets foggy
My pin lock came loose after a cleaning and fell out of my Ls2 valiant any suggestions?
Tighten the pins (if you rotate them slightly) it tightens up the fit on the Pin-lock to the visor.
if its so easy why that you take it out? can you not clean it when its on the vizier?
Its a lot easier off it
dont you think its better to clean it on both side?
Plus if you did not maintain it properly, It could ruin your visor.
Spray name please
Water
@@jandsaccessories30 OK thanks
Dihydrogen Monoxide. You can only find it on Amazon.
@@jandsaccessories30 what brand of water? Teehee, good video Sir
What do you have hanging on your ears?
Don't you ever do that with Nolan's pinlocks. They have silicon seal. You would destroy that seal and make your pinlock useless
Is it possible to restore the pinlock after being scratched like doing on the visor by water sanding & then buff & polish?
I'm wondering the same thing because I guess I ruined my pinlock :(
Edit: bought original new one from China for 15$ -_- couldn't find anyway to fix scratch
@@closery Agreed, for $15 why bother trying to fix the old one......
To lie is a bad thing
You can't be serious
what i find is after you remove your pinlock .. you have to put it on and take it off again many times as you noticed you got bits or finger prints trapped ..its a nightmare to get it perfect
Latex gloves when changing I was advised. Haven't tried yet
Well this a pointless vlog ... you could have cleaned that without removing it from visor & you never cleaned inside of visor prior to refitting pinlock ...
