Haha. Wonder who found each other first. I did scream way across the parking lot “Hey Switch It Up” LoL. Thanks for being part of the collab and thanks for the kind words.
The Bourbon trail and Yosemite are a few we forgot to mention. There are so many that you guys have come up with we didn't even think of. Hope your having a great summer and enjoying the ease of traveling in your little trailer. Take care guys!
There are definitely so many that it’s hard to keep a “short” list! We started our travels this year later than others, but it’s been great so far! Like you guys, it’s taking some adjustment getting used to a smaller space, but it’s working! 😄 Safe travels and we love watching to see what fun y’all are having!
We started watching Todd and Sheila when they were packing up their condo. They have come a very long way. As you both have too! Hope you're enjoying your new Lance home🐾❤️
Hi, nice to meet you. It’s really nice to hear about other couples bucket- list adventures. We really enjoyed watching. You also have some really good drone shots ! We have liked an subbed to see more from you. Chelsea and Mike from England 🏴
Welcome! We are so glad you found us! Thanks so much! Ken has really honed in on his drone skills 😊 England! Very cool…one day we would love to visit there! We look forward to chatting with you more!
You definitely have a good list - lots of these we have not been to & are on our list - Big Bend, Olympic! The Bourbon Trail is so fun - there are some awesome Harvest Hosts there. We had two distillery stays in a row - fabulous.
Great to know about HH along the bourbon trail! We can’t wait to go there and now know to check out HH while there! Thanks so much! Safe travels and hope to see you out there!
Hi Ken and Pam! Loved your bucket list. Those places sound so nice to go visit. Hope everything is going well where you are at and with your daughter having her baby. I watched Switch It Ups video. They said they ran into at parking lot. They are funny too love them and you both too. You all are great people. Love you and safe travels. Say hi to Meka for me. See you soon!
I would love to see the Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival 😊 I would also like to see Santa Fe, Sedona Arizona and the surrounding areas while we are there. A summer in Canada would be nice too.
I recommend going to the Kentucky Derby when you visit the Bourbon Trail. Also - you can harvest host the bourbon trail- we did it last year! We have many of the same items on our list that you do. We are checking Acadia off the list in a could have weeks! Safe travels! - Mike and Shelley
That’s a great idea when experiencing the Bourbon Trail! Someone else had mentioned that they had done HH almost exclusively while there! You’re going to love Acadia! Thanks guys, safe travels!!
Interesting that all the collaborators so far are saying Albuquerque Balloon Festival. I think it should be the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Correct me if I’m mistaken. 😊
You are so correct! The official name is Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta! 😁 We need to be accurate in the future! Everything we’ve seen about it definitely looks like a fiesta! 😉 Thanks so much!
We actually just went in Feb. it was a blast. Here is the video if you have not seen it. Last Minute Surprise Daytona 500 Silver Springs Florida. #rvlife #rvliving #daytona #silversprings ua-cam.com/video/U-nHiKFUK2s/v-deo.html
@@TheRoadSMITHS I watched that video…I was there a few days after the race…I work for Costco and we opened the location there the Thursday after the race. That is when I knew it was going on the bucket list. Thank you for responding 👍. PS hope you are members 😜😂
LOL. Angels Envy. Hahaha! So great to see your list. Ferns and moss would be so amazing Pam. Nice B role in this video guys. Tastings are always great. Teamanship. Nope. Not a word, but there are all kinds of words being made up, so you do you Ken! 😁-Michelle
Haha you can tell Ken has no interest in hiking Angel’s Landing! 🤣 Olympic NP has been on my (Pam) list for a while! Haha we often make up many words! 🤪 Thanks so much, guys! Happy and safe travels to you! Looking forward to when our roads cross again!
We’re in the middle of our bucket list trip to Alaska and Canada! We ran into Our Everyday Getaway in Dawson Creek in Canada. It’s amazing up here and we already want to come back in 2 years! We started planning a year in advance.
Very cool. Well you might know we were supposed to be with Chris and Katrina this year in Alaska but had to cancel due to a new grand baby arriving in the fall. We will get there eventually. Enjoy Alaska it’s amazing.
I live in KY. It is amazing! I do not drink but my husband loves his bourbon, When Covid hit him and some neighbors did a drink club. You had to bring a bourbon under 30 bucks and do a tasting. They found some of the best is under 30 bucks. Let me know if you want brands, I will ask him.
All the places we want to go to as well (except the rider cup & masters, lol)! We are actually on the bourbon trail for the second time right now, lol. Great list - thanks for the share! 😊
Haha yeah, the golf stuff is all Ken! 😆 enjoy the bourbon trail! We are definitely looking forward to getting there one day! Thanks so much, guys! We appreciate being a part of this group!
Love your bucket list. We like to hear your big dreams. We are headed to the Bourbon Trail and will share any tips. We already did Olympic National Park-a must do! Big Bend-last month-Hot! Check out our shows on both for highlights. Yosemite is a bucket list for sure!!!
Thanks guys! We can’t wait to know of your tips and tricks for visiting the Bourbon Trail! We will be watching! We definitely need to check out your shows on those!!
Hey guys that is so great you got Todd and Shiela for the collaboration they are wonderful folks! We remember when we met up and you told us the great story when you met them they sounded like such friendly people! I follow Todd on some of the other creator followings and he is always so helpful with such good advice. Love all the places you mentioned on this list we have many of the same. We are sharing Olympic National Forest in 2 videos over the next couple weeks hopefully we will give you ideas for your next visit to the PNW! Thought it was great of you to include activities and other items on your list like Bourbon Trail, Golfing events and yes the great Balloon Festivals you shared a nice variety! We have had a few things slow us down the last few weeks but we will catch up soon. Nice video Safe Travels friends!
They are wonderful indeed! We will be excited to watch your Olympic videos coming up soon! 🤗 (Of course, we love all your videos!!) you guys are the best tour guides! Hoping you get everything taken care of and have more fun adventures soon! Thanks so much and stay safe out there, friends! Looking forward to September!! 🥰
March seems like a great month to be there! We had to pivot due to floods there, so we will have to try again in cooler temps!! Thanks so much! We appreciate you!!
Denali & Katmai in Alaska, Banff & Yosemite are high on our bucket list, we will be fairly close to Banff this August in Glacier NP but are limited on time. Zion is beautiful, but when we went it was so so crowded. Can't wait to see how your Lance works out for you this summer!
It’s hard when you’re so close, but don’t have the time to go there! Same here! We can’t wait to get to Zion, but would prefer to go there at a time closer to fall (hoping for less crowds and heat)! Thanks so much for following along! So far so good, but it’s early! 😂 We definitely have some fun adventures coming up in it! 😁
KY Bourbon Trail❤ Frankfort KY (the capital) Buffalo Trace is one of the best. Stay at Elkhorn Creek or the Ky Horse Park. Buffalo Trace distillers some of the best bourbons and has a lot of history.
We have camped on the North Side lot (north of the ABQ Ballon field) and the other time on the side directly south of the field. The campground that is really south of the field and south of the road is very dusty and a longer walk to the field. Good luck.
We have been to many of the places on your bucket list. You have to sign up for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta I. January to see if you can get a camping spot. We have been 2 times to the ABQ Fiesta and it was great.
How fun that you’ve been there twice!! Thanks for the info, we need to make sure to sign up…maybe 2025! 😄 We would definitely like to camp there! Thanks for watching and commenting!
We have been to all the parks on your list multiple times. Except Alaska. Yosemite is the absolute number one one our list. You are aware that there is a lottery to get access and only one cg in the valley that can take larger RVs--The Pines. And only a few spots in that park. We went to the balloon festival a few years ago and it was very interesting. Just show up predawn buy a ticket and you are in. We stayed at a nearby COE park. The weather can be a problem the last two days were canceled when we were there.
Sounds like you’ve been to some amazing places!! I didn’t know there was a lottery to enter Yosemite! I need to do more research haha! We are traveling this year in the small rig so, hopefully that helps! Oh, we didn’t know it was that easy to get into the balloon festival! Good to know! Bad weather can definitely be a dealbreaker for all those balloons! Thanks so much for your info! Safe travels! 😊
@@TheRoadSMITHS Yeah there is an online lottery that runs six months (or maybe seven) ahead of the date you are interested in. Sites go in a matter of minutes or you need to be online and have your finger on the button the moment it starts. I started camping in Yosemite in the 1970's when I was in the Navy out there. And as a family we have been at it since the 80's. We have crisscrossed the west and a lot of the east.
Excellent list for sure. We are actually hitting the Bourbon trail later this year and the plan is to hit Olympic park next year but you know how plans go lol!
I’ve been watching your Chanel for a while now and have been enjoying it. I just wanted to take a moment and let you know that Banff & Jasper are actually in Alberta not BC. I live only 3 hours from Jasper and 4 hours from Banff in Alberta and it is a beautiful place you will enjoy it. BC too has beautiful places.
Oh, yes, thanks for the clarification! ☺️ How amazing it must be to live in such a beautiful area!! We can’t wait to finally get to experience it all (hoping next year 🤞🏻) When we do get there, any tips for visiting would be fantastic! 😉
Done all of those mistakes! 😂 As a family camper, have a check list and review it after the kids jobs are done. And Never…Never allow your wife to use a power drill to raise jacks when she holds her face next to the drill 😢
Haha there most be a story there. Checlists are so important. Hey of they work for pilots they have to work for RVers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
We have watched you guys for a few months and enjoy your content and quality is great!!! Question, a little off subject but it does pertain to the subject. Could you guys do an episode on how you guys work camp or fund full time in order to go to all the different places on your bucket list. Doesn’t need to be too personal just an overview. We are trying to do part time and are considering some work camp things possibly.
Thank you so much! We appreciate that you’re following along and enjoying our content!! That sounds like a great topic for a video, but we are retired and, except for last year’s work camping gig we did just because we LOVE that place in Montana, we don’t look for workcamping jobs to fund our travel. I wish we could offer that info to you, but we wouldn’t be the best source. From friends that have done it, they say it is a great way to enjoy traveling and offset the costs!! 😊
Again, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Rock on RoadSmiths!!
Thanks. Hope to check off a few more of these soon.
Bam... Special Collab indeed. We found you like FIRST! It's pretty awesome to see how far you have come on your journey!
Haha. Wonder who found each other first. I did scream way across the parking lot “Hey Switch It Up” LoL. Thanks for being part of the collab and thanks for the kind words.
Awesome Collab!! Great topic!! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks so much! It was fun topic! Stay safe out there, friends!!
Great list, the bourbon trail is on the suggestion from the wife. I have already been to the Bourbon Festival.
Absolutely want to do the Bourbon Trail.
Yosemite in May/June is awesome. The falls are pumping.
Thanks.Might try this fall. I assume the falls would not be as flowing then though.
@@TheRoadSMITHS depends on the snow pack but much slower. Any time in Yosemite is wonderful.
You can do the Angel’s Rest trail if you’re not afraid of heights. The last bit will make you think twice.
Yes we have heard about and seen the videos of Angels Landing...don't think thats going to happen. Haha
@@Oldoregonnurse well, let me reword that…my wife may do it, but I won’t! LOL!
Bourbon trail is a must visit, nice video!

It’s been a great journey. They have certainly grown in their channel and they work very hard at all they do. Not sure we have that energy. Haha.
@TheRoadSMITHS Believe it or not, the amount of time and effort you put into your channel does show! And ya'll do an awesome job🔆
Thanks you two!!
