The book 📖 was a superb read. I felt so bad for Mal’s family since he chose the Beatles over them and then hooked up 🆙 with another woman 👩. For the record I have enjoyed seeing Ken’s beard 🧔 the most over the years. ❤😊

The book is a great read. The ending is very interesting. Mal definitely lived a full life, but very sad in the end. Pivotal moments went against him.

The poor audio quality is very irritating, I wish that guests would check before they start streaming, that the audio is coming out clearly. Apart from the audio issues, another brilliant podcast, well done guys.

Geddy Lee (like many other famous successful bass players and other types of musicians, has praised Paul McCartney's great innovative bass playing including in his Beatles period and his interview is on You tube too.

Allan brings up a great point, why would PGR lie or forget about jamming with their hero Elvis ? After reading that chapter l had a hard time believing anything other of Mal Evan’s tales
Elvis has no guitar picks at his house? Come on….

I really think that men look much better looking without any facial hair covering their faces. There have been male actors and other celebrities that I didn't even notice were good looking until they shaved their beards and or mustaches off.

Why didn’t Allen kozinn write The NY Times obituary of Denny laine ? Clay risens obituary filled with
Historic inaccuracies. Very bad. Denny never played on future McCartney projects after April 1981. Also Denny didn’t appear at all on wings span and never played with Paul again 😢

As much as I like Denny seiwell Paul did a fine job drumming on the album overall. It’s sad seiwell didn’t stay loyal to Paul. Must have been hard for him and Monique to eat Linda’s sub standard cooking. Seiwell said her cooking was pretty poor and her housekeeping skills were atrocious too

We spent quite a few hours interviewing Denny for Legacy, and he did not mention those things to us; in fact he was quite complementary about Linda’s cooking.

I think the podcast should have included the Denny laine announcement as breaking news. As the Beatles news it’s worthy of a special insert overall. Plus there should be a show dedicated to Denny It’s sad that Denny and Ryan O’Neal passed. Ryan and John Lennon were close personal friends. John was like an older uncle for Tatum and her brothers. Sad.

It’s great that everyone has ideas about what we should have done, and how we should have done it. You may be surprised to learn that we don’t sit around doing nothing but this free podcast. We have jobs and families, I have a book deadline, and unfortunately I’m the only one of the three of us who can edit video. The show we did with Ken and Gary took an entire day to record, edit and post - so, zero writing that day. I can’t do that more than once every two weeks, and even that is actually kind of irresponsible given the fast-approaching deadline. I told Ken I’d be happy to do a Denny tribute if someone else edited and posted it, but no-one volunteered. What I should do, really, is step back from the podcast entirely until the book is finished - that would buy me some time, and would, presumably, force at least one of the others to learn video editing.
