Last year I focused more on WRs. Had Hop and Hill as my 1 and 2 and Kareem as a workhorse. After losing my championship game because I was missing my RB, I'm definitely going RB heavy early on. Keep it up with the amazing videos!
I only do auction drafts. They are by far the most fun and you can really make a great team that way. Like last year I had MaHomes, Barkley, Kamara, Woods, Boyd, Golliday, Cupp, Watkins, Bears D. I killed it!! I won my league through my draft. Thats rare.
I love auctions and I do agree that they are much better in helping you draft a team you truly want. Not a lot of people do auctions though, so it’s tough to produce a ton of content for it. I may have something up my sleeve for you all though.

@Christopher Bronson I'm all for the players getting paid. Personally I think Bell got a dose of Karma though. He quit on his teammates when he said he wasn't going to. He had a chance to be the highest paid back in the league 2X & turned it down. I'm far from a Steeler fan but that organization owed him nothing. They stood by his suspensions, injuries and holdouts. Plus his "rap career" where one of his songs trashes Pittsburgh basically. He's good but not worth what he thought he was with his history. Now Antonio AKA Mr. Big Chest Brown.. I don't support what he did. He had 3yrs left on his contract. If you sign a contract you need to honor it.. both sides. Players that do that make it harder for other players & set a bad tone.
Awesome vid Kyle. Some serious valuable info here. I'm thinking the same way as far as RB's with my first 2 picks then get into WR's and TE. Great strategy.
It depends, I'm a guy like others who loves those RBs...1-5 is Rb..middle of the 1st is best available cause those top WRs and the tier 2 Rbs is your call at the draft...but as for me I draft a QB late, cause I'm stockpiling Rbs and Wrs..but to your point I love going Rb-Rb BUT just depends on what pick you have....guys if your watching this and you are new to fantasy..please please do some mock drafts from every position...mock drafts are Vitale for information and curve balls in your drafts...
I'm going for the 3-peat this year in a 12 team standard league. The draft order is randomized an hour before the draft. So, I'm doing my homework now. I'll go RB RB WR if I have an early-mid first. If Hop or Adams are there, I'm fine with going with one of them then turning around and getting Damien Williams. I love RB-RB, but I have to take what the draft gives me. Thanks for all of the advice Kyle!

Hi Im new here, great videos and info TY TY! I was wondering if you are planning on doing a segment about IDP, would really like to see ur input on when and how to better draft for a 10p half PPR IDP league! Keep the videos coming! =)
Probably not a video on IDP because it’s not as popular as other formats. I play a lot of IDP though so I’m trying to get some stuff in the draft guide soon.
I'm in a 2qb league 2rb 3wr flex te ... I think the best thing to do is take qbs late... I just got the 6th pick so I'm guaranteed one of the top 5 rbs... bcuz i know for sure my qb happy league will pick at least 1 if not 2 or 3 qbs before my 6th pick. I'm going qbs late
This year in my 12 team ppr, if I draft 8th or later I might end up drafting 4 WR in the first 4 rounds. I can see ending up with 4 top 10 starting every week. Then I just draft 8 running backs with high potential.
That’s a tough strategy to carry out and rely on late round RBs. You really have to hope for some type of injury to get the type of production necessary.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners I agree it is a tough strategy. I wouldn't force it, but if everyone is forcing the running backs I might zig when they zag. You can end up with Michael Thomas, Juju, AJ Green, and Brandon Cooks (or perhaps Tyreek Hill). It works in full point ppr with 3 wr and a flex. I wouldn't do it in standard. I did this once a few years back, and made it to the playoffs before crazy injuries took me out. There is something satisfying about trotting out four stud receivers every week.
Drafting 10th is 12 man league and I’m thinking of having strategy rb first 3 rounds and passing up on Julio Thomas or odel and taking a duo of Connor and chubb
I want to go running back heavy but I'm the last pick at 12. I'm willing to pass on kelce because i like Kittle and want to take a chance on Hockenson or Eifert...Just im picking so late I feel like ima end up going WR heavy and I don't trust WRs
g p ... me too...in ppr of course...its just too hard to pick a question mark like Damien Williams, over a Mike Evans ..or a Chubb , who might be less involved playoff time, over a JuJu...or even Bell over Adams...
Awesome video Kyle, so glad I found you guys last year. I have a good problem, help...10 team, full ppr, I've got the third pick. My 2 keepers are Kamara and Chubb. The big "3" will be there, so do you like McCaffrey/Keenan Allen-ish or Davonte Adams/K. Allen??? McCaffrey seems no brainer, but the other way feels more balanced???
This is tough... I really dont think you can pass on CMC though... CMC, Kamara and Chubb is a crazy first 3 picks and you can still finish is off with solid WRs
I think that you gotta go heavy wr early ,I'm not sure what mocks you have been doing but the top wrz are gone by the top half of the 3rd. Meanwhile you can get Drake,Ingram,Lindsay,Carson, etc late.
I have started doing heavy WR early over the past few seasons too much success. PPR league of course. Keeper as well and what allows me to do this is I've had David Johnson since 2016 off waivers in 15 I get him in the 7th this year as each year you keep the same guy they go up the respective years you have kept him. 4th year keeping him got him in the 11th last year so up 4 spots. I love the RB early strat this year but I'm just not seeing the value that many are talking about with mid-round WR's. Been getting QB TE in rounds 9 through 12 DST Kicker last of course (have to fill all roster spots.) Guess my point is while RB early is a viable strat it's not the only one and while my position is unique I just see so much more value and safety in the mid rnd RB's then mid rnd WR's. WR's in that area of the draft is much more of a question mark than the RB's that you can get in those same spots. I see much more value in guys like A jones, Ingram, Carson, White, Montgomery, Mack, Henry, Jacobs, Freeman, Murray, than Godwin, Golladay, Cupp, DJ Moore, Jeffery, Ridley, Robinson, Anderson, Pettis, Davis, Sheperd etc. Will be going WR early and often this year again. I want to see the value in the WR's in the mid-rounds but I just can't seem to see it. Much love, sorry for the book and best of luck love the channel gents keep it up.
@@kramegame8442 Nice, not a bad start at all not a fan of TE early but in a 12 team league and TE being so thin I can understand the reasoning. in rounds 5 6 7 you still have so many options at RB White, Ingram, Miller, Murray, Montgomery, Carson, etc Whereas the WR in that range are really meh IMO, WR 20 through 40 I can pick 2 names that I would be high on and that's about it lol. Good luck this year hope that move pays off for you!
I absolutely love the content. Another good video. Can anyone critique what I drafted last night. The only to get better is with honest criticism. Players are listed in order of draft. Pick 6, ppr 10 team. Johnson, Thomas-n.o., dalvin, diggs, golladay, Ridley, jeffery, C. Kirk, Murray -n.o., njoku, Fitz, cousins, Harris rb-n.e, Smith n.o, eagles and tavecchio. Thanks
overall I like this team a lot, the only thing i really don't like is having three vikings player in your starting lineup. if they struggle to score one week its going to limit your teams potential that week and probably cause you to lose
Hey Anthony! I have to agree with Anthony. I like it but i also worry about having to depend on so many Vikings on a weekly basis. Otherwise.. A solid team!
I wouldn't waste a second round pick on ANY QB...wait till the 5th and as long as your league is experienced you should be good. I wait till 7th round for qb, then pick the best and take a shot on like a lamar jackson or kyler murey in later rounds
Thanks Kyle great video. I need your opinion. I have 1st pick in 10 person league full ppr. I'm going back and forth between Barkley CMac and kamara. Zeke still hasn't signed. Which do you think is going to have better season? I know its crapshoot
12 man league keepers. I have kamara cost me an 8th rd pick next year will cost me a 6th rd pick. I also have D. Williams which would only cost me a 16th rd pick. I’m thinking this could be Brees last year would you keep Williams over kamara ? Consider the factors of this year and years beyond.
The Fantasy Headliners you got at least 100 views right here guaranteed lol !! All we need is one !!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 thanks for everything you do ( ps I’m doin my first dynasty league this year )
To me, I want the #1 guy at each position. If I can get Legatron and the Bears defense I'm doing it. Neglecting those two positions puts you at a disadvantage. I don't want to draft bottom of the barrel guys or be weak at any position in my lineup.
The difference between that top defense and kicker isn’t nearly enough though to warrant early picks. You won’t win a league because of your D or kicker.
I hear ya and I get it. It's just that I lost too many crucial games by streaming kickers and defenses. I'm getting "set it forget it" guys and see how it goes.
Hey guys! Great work, as usual. But I have a question: If I buy your rankings, how is that gonna look like? Is it an excel sheet and how do I get notified If something changes until the start of the season as well as during the season?
It’s all in PDF or online. You’ll get a link to drop box and have access to log in through the website. Whenever an update happens, you will get an email notification.
I got a horrible pick this year 😭 pick 9 in ppr. Hoping Davante Adams falls and I'll probably have to go WR WR Davante then Odell or something like that and pray I can grab Chubb or kerryon in the 3rd round and Montgomery in the 5th or 6th. My league mates r super unpredictable thought as alot don't rly follow football or prepare all that much before. Any suggestions on what my early round strategy should be? I feel like I could easily grab mid round WRs that were no-names last year like a Christian Kirk, Dante Pettis or Chris Godwin so I want to go RB early but it seems like that'll be impossible.
In a 2 keeper league. I'm keeping 2 backs. 1st pick. DJ, Gordon (depending on his situation)and Bell will be draftable. Thomas and Julio will be there as well. I def want a top tier wr1 but it's tough passing on top 5-8 players. Have to go wr, right?
My league- QB, 2wr, 1rb, 1te, 1flex (rb, wr, or te) def and k. 12 team League. Ppr/ pick #4. We do our draft through league texts. We just started. Took cmc at #4. Rd 2 pick on me. Players available wr evans tb, hilton indy, theilan and diggs wr. Rb chubb, mixon, cook, te ertz and kittle. Thinking oftaking evans and 3rd rd not sure. Thoughts on taking kittle. Thanks

Plug n play the qbs.. stack rb and wr talent... in the 2qb league..
Good video whats your take on the new Melvin gordon situation I already have ekeler in a dynasty League
Great video Kyle! Request :can you guys touch on auction draft strategy/values at some point? Thanks
We will try to at some point, yes.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners thanks! Keep up the great content!
Drafting 10th is 12 man league and I’m thinking of having strategy rb first 3 rounds and passing up on Julio Thomas or odel and taking a duo of Connor and chubb
i dont hate it... Julio and Chubb would be nice also
I want to go running back heavy but I'm the last pick at 12. I'm willing to pass on kelce because i like Kittle and want to take a chance on Hockenson or Eifert...Just im picking so late I feel like ima end up going WR heavy and I don't trust WRs
Chubb, Cook could be sweet right there unless a Top WR falls
Same here I pick 12. I'm going Dalvin Cook, WR, WR, WR, RB. Who should I target as RB 2?
Definitely subbed, I’m seriously considering a 0 WR strategy
g p ... me too...in ppr of course...its just too hard to pick a question mark like Damien Williams, over a Mike Evans ..or a Chubb , who might be less involved playoff time, over a JuJu...or even Bell over Adams...
g p ... ha, i misread ur post , i thought u wrote, zero RB.. ha, my error...
Welcome to #HeadlinerNation!
I agree. Although, I think if Barkley falls there, then I may go wide receiver
Football is so close!
Almost that time!
I think that you gotta go heavy wr early ,I'm not sure what mocks you have been doing but the top wrz are gone by the top half of the 3rd. Meanwhile you can get Drake,Ingram,Lindsay,Carson, etc late.
You can get Diggs, Cooks, AJG, Hilton, Woods at the end of the third beginning of the fourth. Check that ADP.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners Really? Those guys are gone in the 12 team mocks that I've done by the top of the 3rd except Woods.
ExistenceGhost in a 12 man .5 PPR @ pick 11, with my first four picks I took
1.Hopkins
2.Hill
3.Ertz
4.D.Henry
@@kramegame8442 Nice, not a bad start at all not a fan of TE early but in a 12 team league and TE being so thin I can understand the reasoning. in rounds 5 6 7 you still have so many options at RB White, Ingram, Miller, Murray, Montgomery, Carson, etc Whereas the WR in that range are really meh IMO, WR 20 through 40 I can pick 2 names that I would be high on and that's about it lol. Good luck this year hope that move pays off for you!

Welcome to the community!
Great info. Question what do you think about stacking Adams and Rogers taking them in round 1 and 2? Keep it rolling.🍺🏈
I wouldn't waste a second round pick on ANY QB...wait till the 5th and as long as your league is experienced you should be good. I wait till 7th round for qb, then pick the best and take a shot on like a lamar jackson or kyler murey in later rounds
I get having the stack, but I’m not drafting a QB in the second round
thank you
No, thank you!
Kamara is a proven commodity plus, you're getting a top 5 RB for an 8th rounder. Don't worry about next year. Win this year.
Hell ya! Keep Kamara .... always play for this year !!!
I love the draft guide just was curious to see why you guys didnt talk about defenses??
We did defensive rankings but we may have an update soon with some IDP stuff as well.
@@TheFantasyHeadliners ok what section is defensive rankings cause I didnt see it?
They are ranked 1-32 under the match up meter section
Kyle can you do a dynasty league only full break down for us 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I would love to.... But no one ever watches dynasty stuff!
But I have a question:
If I buy your rankings, how is that gonna look like? Is it an excel sheet and how do I get notified If something changes until the start of the season as well as during the season?
It’s all in PDF or online. You’ll get a link to drop box and have access to log in through the website. Whenever an update happens, you will get an email notification.
Ok sounds great :) and you provide rankings for all formats I think!?
should do a video on 10 guys youre not going to draft but youre going to have on your watch list.
Good thought! I already have some guys in mind!
WHEN ARE WE GONNA SEE A KYLE VS. JAKE HEAD TO HEAD MOCK DRAFT?
We are working on it!
My next options as wr1 would be cooks, golladay, woods.....yeah
Any draft is a great draft
Any fantasy football is great fantasy football!
