1:15 I recently changed the tower housing (ecstuning) in order to replace the bearing inside and the side-to-side bracket dieselgeek bushings in order to solve the sticky shifter, but it did not work. Found out before installing the tower housing, that the actual tower gets stuck at the bottom, or doesn't bounce back as easily as we see in this video. While driving, shifter gets stuck in 3rd and I can't get it into neutral and into 4th gear. Any thoughts? is it possible that the sealing cap might be catching the bottom part of the selector shaft?

@@dieselgeekdotcom I recently found out that it’s most likely my 3/4 gear syncro. It’s starting to grind if I’m not gentle with the shifting. Thank you though for the reply 👌🏽!

Is there any way to fix snapped locking pin inside shift tower?
Mine is o2m 6spd with metal pin, and when I pull it to the end, shifter is still stuck and not moving.

My bracket at 0:40 doesn't slide as easily. Any good trick to get it out ?

Mine is loose. Can I tighten that center 13 bolt?

Maybe, but it needs to be the correct nut. Often times after clutches the wrong nut it used. Running the shifter loose can then wallow out the spline on the front to back bracket. Usually the selector shaft is fine though.

@dieselgeekdotcom if mine is permanently loose, can you tell me what I need to fix it.

Either the nut is wrong or something is stripped
