It's from a syndicated program that was known as Country Carnival. I believe it ran from 1968-1972. Billy Walker hosted the show in 1968-69 then Del Reeves for the final three seasons. Reportedly there were 100 episodes during it's 4 year run.

It was a "single only" release in 1970. Since then it has made it's way to at least two Tom T. Hall CD compilations, most recently his 50 Greatest Hits in 2010. It's also on Dave Dudley's Definitive Collection CD that was released in 2016.
