Why are you trying to prove to me that this is not k-pop and anime, if I did not make such statements. I said which elements are similar and what leads me to such thoughts, but I didn’t make any statements, relax😂

Fair enough, maybe the translation is making this a little bit confused, although many reactors are finding anime reference (Demon Slayer or something) because of the masks (not the fox masks) in this MV.
When you know K-pop and J-pop you'll see a lot of difference and not only the similarities just because they can sing and dance, but BM is a lot more of what an average J-pop group can do, that's one of the reasons fans love this group.🦊👍

I don't like people saying that idols are "robots", is a way of dehumanizing them and denying all the hard work they've put in to get to where they are. It's not just that they're pretty and know how to dance.
It is a thought that people in general have and it bothers me a lot, not only with baby metal but with other "idol" groups.

Good reaction, but BABYMETAL are neither typical nor K-Pop ... they would have to be Korean and doing the same as other bands or groups to be either of those things.
BABYMETAL are Japanese, their roots are in J-Pop, but unlike every other band or group they mix and blend Metal (they have songs in virtually every metal genre - thrash, death, black, djent, Prog, speed, power and so on) with the aesthetics of J-Pop and clean vocals. But that is not enough, they will also mix in many other musical styles and genres with their metal - there is no other band like BABYMETAL and no other band that can do what they do (some have tried, none came close).
4 albums, 60+ songs and each one different to the last.
They were formed around the vocal talents and stage presence of the lead vocalist Su-metal when she was still only 12 years old ... their producer, a life long metalhead, was so impressed when he saw and especially heard her performing with her previous group that he pictured her fronting a Metal band and injecting some youth and new life into the Metal scene which had become stagnant and was on a steep decline in Japan at that time (this was in 2010).
He was given no financial backing or support by their agency, they thought he was mad and there would not be an audience for such a thing. Against all expectations it started to work, they found their own audience and started to make a name for themselves until the agency had no choice but to support them and provide a bit more money so they could hire musicians and play small concerts and festivals instead of the shopping malls and stages in food courts where they had been playing their shows.
The girls are very talented and have been learning their art since they were children, but they are not robots. BABYMETAL are the most innovative, original, unique band I have had the pleasure to find since the 1970s.
The main reason you know of the other female Japanese metal bands is because BABYMETAL took the chance to try touring outside of Japan ... and they were so good that they have won many fans and gained the support of countless huge metal bands and other artists they have met, toured and played with - name some bands, they are probably BABYMETAL fans ... I will give you a start: Metallica, Korn, Corey Taylor, Bring Me The Horizon, Megadeth, DragonForce, Judas Priest, Slayer, Anthrax, Guns n Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Sabaton, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lady Gaga, The Hu .... so many more.
All those other bands you know have followed BABYMETAL out of Japan because people saw BABYMETAL and thought they were so good and wondered what else was happening in Japan so they searched and found those other bands and they have since also started touring outside of Japan.
Forget the misinformation and lies you may have read about BABYMETAL spread by the metal elitists, the haters, the ignorant and the deaf. Listen to and watch their live performances and let them speak for themselves.
Try 'BABYMETAL Death' live at Legend 1997 and see how BABYMETAL celebrated Su-metal's 16th birthday as long ago as December 2013. Watch that and say again about how it is "typical K-Pop".

Welcome to the Foxhole and BabyMetal journey 🦊🤘
Thanks for turning on subtitles, glad you like this brand new collab song but it seems you got a wrong approach to this group without knowing nothing at all.
user-im3rc3ll3n already give you a nice comment in your language.
Anyway hope you can give this group a fair chance and come back with some of their live performance to understand why they got not only so many fans around the world that not even like anime nor kpop, they're just open-minded metalheads.
Pick any of these suggestions to meet the live experience and what they can do on the stage:
    - Headbanger!! live at Legend 1997 (2013)
    - Road Of Resistance live in Japan official.
    - Karate live at Download Festival 2016.

First, BABYMETAL is NOT anime - never has been, never will be. Next, BABYMETAL is neither k-pop metal nor typical. In fact, they are not even typical metal.
BABYMETAL has been around for a bit over twelve years now (they started when their lead singer - known as Su-metal - was about thirteen, and the two "cheerleaders" - Moametal and Yuimetal - were both around twelve. Unfortunately, Yui left the band in 2018, and only earlier this year was Momometal named a member of the group.
BABYMETAL started a brand new genre of music ("kawaii metal" - cute metal), and they cannot be pigeon-holed - they are almost always thinking and moving outside box; they made metal FUN! They have, to date, four studio albums, and have been on a number of world tours. It is common knowledge among their devoted fans (known as "The One") that BABYMETAL is best served live, but they do have several music videos that are real works of art. If you have a notion to check out more BABYMETAL, I suggest you go back to the beginning, and react to their first two music videos, "Doki Doki Morning" and "Iine!" (pronounced "E-nay"). I'm sure you will find both very entertaining. There is a playlist on UA-cam "BABYMETAL Top Twenty" that includes those two songs and the one you just reacted to.
    KITSUNE UP!!! 🤘🦊🤘

The song is influenced by a festival called Awaodori, which has continued in Japan for more than 500 years, a folk song called Soranbushi, which has a history of about 100 years, and Enka, a traditional Japanese folk song.
There is no influence from anime or K-POP at all.
In case you are wondering, anime songs include the Beatles, Oasis, Linkin Park, etc., so it is not a genre of music.

    Nice reaction!!
Although J-pop and K-pop are similar in some ways, they have evolved in their own way and I have the impression that they are very different in musicality. I think you can tel the difference when you listen to them, but I'm not sure why people confuse them.
BABYMETAL is neither J-Rock nor J-Metal. BABYMETAL itself is a genre. And there has only been BABYMETAL in this genre for more than 10 years.
My feeling is that J-Pop is mostly old Japanese 民謡(Minyou), 演歌(enka) and 歌謡曲(Kayoukyoku) with bands (influenced by the Beatles) added to them. Dance is added to these, and this is due to the idol culture that has been around for more than 50 years.
K-pop is often a combination of American pop (influenced by Michael Jackson) with J-pop and Japanese idol culture. As for dance, I believe it is Michael Jackson's influence.
There are also differences between Japanese and international singing methods. Japan uses a throat singing method, and most J-Pop is based on this singing method. Anime songs often use the normal J-Pop often heard in Japan, so people overseas who only hear J-Pop in anime can be forgiven for thinking that J-Pop = anime songs.
And I know it's hard to distinguish K-Pop from J-Pop and idol culture, because it's influenced by them, but if you listen carefully, you'll see that they are very different (and of course, some are similar).
BABYMETAL is highly regarded by music professionals worldwide. In particular, top METAL artists such as Metallica, Korn, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, DragonForce, Rob Halford ,Rob Zombie and others have recognised BABYMETAL as a first-class metal bands.
I think it is natural that some things are unacceptable to people who have heard METAL before, and that there are different likes and dislikes.
I would be grateful for your analysis of why BABYMETAL is highly regarded as a METAL band.😊 I think a lot of what can be described as METAL genre songs are on the first three albums, so please listen to them.

    Babymetal Metali (feat) Tom Morello:-
Babymetal have joined forces with Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine for a new single ‘Metali’.
The new song is the latest in the Japanese kawaii metal band’s series of star-studded collaborations, and sees them partner with the Rage guitarist for another up-tempo, electrifying track.
The group first teased the release last week and, according to the press release, ‘Metali’ is “officially the first song by the newly reborn” group - now consisting of SU-METAL, MOAMETAL, and MOMOMETAL. It also confirms that the single was created with the vision of their crowd forming a circle pit at a metal festival this summer.
Babymetal - METALI (feat. Tom Morello)” was released as a digital Single in 2023. The Japanese Title “メタり” has a distinctive style of kana usage. It is written as the nominal form of the made up verb “to do metal”.
This song is characterized by the classic metal style of the Japanese band, combined with some j-rap touches that distinguish it from previous releases. And of course, the subject gets more frantic through the classic guitar style of Tom Morello, which fits quite well in the musical
    Lyrics Translation:-
It’s the metal-village festival metal song
    festival, festival, come together
make a ring, make a ring
    let the party horns dance1
brothers and sisters of metal-village too
    festival, festival, come together
make a ring, make a ring
    sing together
    like that, like that, heigh-ho2
you’re a fool if you dance, and a fool if you just look on, so let’s dance3
you have to dance and become a fool
like that, like that, like that, heigh-ho
you have to dance and sing
you have to sing and dance
everyone has to dance, dance dance,
    we don’t go home.
    dance, dance
dance, like that, like that, heigh-ho
    shake it, shake it
    like that, like that!
    sing, sing!
sing! like that, like that, heigh-ho!
    shout, shout!
    like that, like that
    heave-ho! heave-ho!4
    heave-ho! heave-ho!

    heave-ho! heave-ho!
    heave-ho! heave-ho!
    heave-ho! heave-ho!
    everyone and anyone5 heigh-ho!
~~ you’re a fool if you dance, and a fool if you just look on, so let’s dance
but if you dance to also be a fool
    when you dance
do the metal, do the metal! ~~6
    heigh-ho
    heave-ho!
    ….
(shortened for translation, more heigh-ho and heave-ho follow until the end)
Paper horns blown into to celebrate:-
"These are shoutings used at traditional festivals. “sore” and “dokkoisho”. This is the same sore used in Megitsune.
lyrics sung during the Awa Odori festival. This is a farely long sentence translated but shorter in Japanese.
more shoutings used at traditional festivals. “wasshoi”.
the Japanese phrase used here literally translates to “the cats and bamboo lids also” which has the meaning of “everyone and anyone”
This part is spoken in a traditional way of japanese theater, called kabuki".

Road of resistance, Akatsuki, Arkadia.

BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno (Yui left in 2018 due to health reasons). Both Moa and Yui were 11 years old All three girls were friends and classmates who attended an idol school/group (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life (they attended regular school as well) the girls would learn and train at vocals, dancing, public speaking and etiquette, etc., graduate at age 15 and then move onto whatever entertainment path they chose or that suited their talents.
Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result.
At first Amuse showed no interest and the girls had only financing from Kobayashi. They performed at strip malls and small venues using clothes borrowed from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues). Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia).
If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to LIVE performance videos as this is where they shine.
They have over 60 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more.
Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.)
Suggest reacting to these for a start.

At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member.
Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles.
Good luck and hope to see you again.

The riffs, the arrangements are always well built when we talk about babymetal.
The band presents an interesting atmosphere.
By the way, when does the Spiritbox react come out?
    Thanks Angelika.

BABYMETAL has nothing to do with K-pop and are far far from typical. 🤘🦊🤘

It surprises me when I find a reaction that doesn't find BabyMetal entertaining. It appears you don't like that the singers have beautiful high pitched voices. True? Does metal music need to use Cookie Monster voices? If yes, why?

@@kurtcobainmylove2074ironic because many acclaimed metal bands and artists all love Babymetal and are huge fans, and Babymetal singlehandedly brought life back into the metal-scene back when it was at its lowest point and starting to die out (in the late 2000s to early 2010s).
