I really don’t think people care what you look like when they see you - it’s more about how to interact with people who enjoy watching your channel. Life happens and nobody looks great ALL of the time. It seems like when we make those quick trips for one or two things that we see everyone we’ve ever met. I actually find it quite refreshing to see women in stores, especially Lowe's or home Depot without being all dulled up. Alot of us go in there for a couple of items, that we find we need, when in the middle of a project at home. Who are we trying to impress at Lowe's ?! It's a home improvement store for goodness sake. Yes, we like to always be pulled together and look nice, but life's chores sometimes require us to dress and look the part. Nothing wrong with that. It's called life. And women have many responsibilities these days. Nothing wrong with that. 🌞

I'm totally hooked on Laura Geller foundation. I used it years ago and recently tried again. It's got great coverage -- lasts all day. It's so natural looking and absolutely doesn't settle into fine lines and wrinkles. I use either fair for light -- both work well.
I see a lot of Laura Geller on QVC. Her baked products start as a liquid and are baked on top of a terracotta tile. I use her baked bronze-and-go in fair. Love it!
I've been using the baked foundation for a few months now and I love it! It does not cake up over the course of the day. I like it so much better than liquid foundations.

May I suggest a fluffier powder brush for a lighter look when you are just running out. That’s what I like for me with the Laura Geller. This product has been around for many years. I used to wear it all the time. I still like it but prefer the Jane Iredale powder foundation. Also a light mist at the end helps soften powder foundation.
I love Laura Geller products. She’s cruelty free for one. I don’t buy Revlon - animal testing. But I thoroughly enjoy your channel. Thank you for your hard work.

The foundation looks really pretty on you Kim! I have used Laura Geller off an on for years, the finish is absolutely beautiful -BUT - it settles in my fine lines and wrinkles. I keep a foundation brush in my purse and brush over my fine lines 2-3 times per day. I think it is a beautiful foundation. For really mature ladies, the fine lines and wrinkles are always a challenge with any foundation. Those Maybelline lipsticks are great, I have several shades. Great video sweetie!

Funny you bring up Laura Gellar as I just received a package full of it yesterday! I tried the foundation and fell in love with it so I bought some for a gift. I think it looks great on you, too. I use that moisturizer, too. It never looks cakey on me and I put it on after my skin care (I'm 64) I also have my own baked blush and bronzer that I also bought more as a gift! Yes, I started watching you because of the makeup videos and would really like to see more. I wanted to add a couple things about the Laura Geller foundation. I was a little surprised to see that the fair shade gave so much color to your skin. I have lighter skin then you and the fair I have is a bit too light...my best overall match is the light shade. Also, I have found that I don't like applying the foundation with a brush. The best way for me is to use a Stanz Out sponge and pounce it into my skin. It looks less dry on me applied that way. Loved the video and hope to see more!!

The baked balance by Laura Geller is my go to I take a smaller brush and use it also for under eye, concealer, and around my nose and mouth wherever there’s extra redness. I have two shades, fair and porcelain. The light was a bit too deep for me. But I have light skin. I find that these colors run a bit deep so I go lighter than I usually would but they are definitely my go to for quick out the door coverage and it looks so natural

I have that exact Laura Geller powder foundation, liked it okay, made my face real shiny, wasn’t crazy about that. Then I discovered that she carried a powder foundation that provided a little more coverage and didn’t have a shiny finish. I ordered that one and am really happy with it, just perfect for my skin and gives the look I was going for ❤.
I love Laura Gellar Balance and Brighten baked foundation! I have worn it for years and it is my go to foundation in the cooler months. I only use a tinted moisturizer in the warmer months, over Laura Gellar tinted sparkle. Great products! I’m 72. It looks great on you Kimberly🥰
I love powder mineral foundation because it is a natural sunscreen. I spritz my skin with a mist of Evian water or toner, and it gets rid of the powder to the point of looking like I applied a liquid foundation. Best of all, it lasts all day here in Texas heat
I use the Laura Gellar Spackle primer, then the baked and balance and brighten in Porcelain. I use the shade Fair only during our summer because its quite tan on my skin. Theyre both great for a 50+ face that does early morning exits and I still want to look fresh and healthy.

I got this tip from a Bobbie brown makeup artist. When using powder foundation, after you’ve applied rub your hands together fast to generate some heat then pat your hands all over your face. The makes the powder meld into the skin.
