  • James Jannard, the billionaire founder of Oakley, has just sold his oceanfront estate in Malibu, California for a record $210 million. This beats the $200 million that Beyonce & Jay-Z paid for modern mega mansion in the same city. Jannard purchased the property back in 2021 for $75 million from billionaire investor Howard Marks. Marks bought it from Herbalife co-founder Mark Hughes for $31 million in 2002. Located on Pacific Coast Highway, the estate is situated on 9.5 acres with more than 300 feet of ocean frontage. The 20,000 square foot Mediterranean-style mansion was designed by Ferguson & Shamamian Architects and features 8 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. The estate also features two gated entrances, two guesthouses, a gym building, tennis court, swimming pool and more.
