Drummer Cyrus Bolooki took time out of the band’s very busy schedule during their April 19 stop in Lawrence, Kansas, at the Granada Theater, to share and discuss his prized drum rig with DRUM! I met Cyrus after a show when he was on tour with Green Day and Sugarcult one year. Me and my friend went and waited by their bus to see if they'd autograph our tickets. Both him and Jordan were cool as hell and talked to us for a few minutes.

Wow! I wasn't even aware Vater made unfinished sticks. To me, their finish is about the best thing about them and one of the main reason I use them. But, to each their own. Right there with him on Remo and Ziljian, though.
Also rockin' the A custom Hats. Love em! Really give you that solid aggressive sound.

first time i see a double pedal with the beater not at the same position but I kind of get it so the double hit isn't too loud so it sounds more like a single pedal double !!

If you are remotely handy you can do anything SJC can do. All you need is some Keller shells and some lugs and you can make the exact same shit as they can.
As a drummer I always found drum kit rundowns the least interesting since most drummers are like "yeah idk my setup is super basic so brands mean very little to my sound. Anyway these particular brands gave me free stuff so let me tell you why I think they are the best".
