My 2020 XLE Premium map lights came out the 'normal' way without having to remove the trim piece.

Great video. I just finished this and truthfully, this was a pain in the ass endeavor filled with anxiety. I'm sure I broke some clips in the map light console, and one of the light bulbs flew behind the headliner forever lost. This doesn't require a lot of skil, but tons of patiennce in my opinion. Thank you for the video I couldn't have done it otherwise.

very nice. glad i caught this since another youtuber pulled the lenses off (map/mirror area lights) but his lenses had much less perimeter trim so i would have busted mine, for sure. thanks

Map light easiest way is to take off the whole thing.. It's on 4 red clips.. And then kph get then from the back very easy.
My Australian version of Rav 4 2021 has exactly the same configuration of lights as your, followed through and its all done. Thank you.!

Excellent instructional. I have a 2019 Rav 4 Adventure trim. How do I know whether or not my map light lenses are the non-removable type?
Thanks George!...I would just try to pry em off, if they give you trouble I’d be willing to bet that they’re the same kind I have...if they’re the removable lenses they should pop off very easily....but as ya saw in my video it’s no biggie to pop that whole trim piece off...let me know if that helps!

Have you had good results with las fit? I put in precision Leds and in less than a year map lights went out and now the plate lights are flickering.
Yes sir, I haven’t had any issues at all with their bulbs!...I’ve had several of their bulbs in the Tundra for awhile now and they’re great!
Hi I was installing my interior on my 2021 Toyota 4Runner 2021 and I noticed that all my lights don’t come on! I’m scared I don’t know what I did wrong I did the Vanity lights The map lights and I was working on the domelight that’s what I noticed.

Might just need to flip them around...
Would the t10 work for the license plate bulb on a 2021?
