I've been holding out for the right OnePlus to come out and I think it has. I'll be trading in my 8pro. After the $60 credit plus $200 bonus they give me and $30 discount I'll end up getting the 12 for $560...👍👍👍 I'm not an Apple fan. And to be honest I'm sick and tired of waiting for the right Pixel to come out. And I don't want a Ultra for $1,300. These other companies need to get in the game with the fast charging. That's what I love about OnePlus convenience and quality.

OnePlus phones tend to be not as optimized at launch as other phones. I think this phone is already great but could be much better months from now. I think it's competitors don't have as much room to mature.

Truthfully, for once I don't feel the term flagship killer is apropos. This is a legitimate flagship with all the trimmings. Moreover, I don't really care about the terms "pro" or "ultra". Oneplus should be able to classify their phones any way they want.

It's funny that the lack of essential SD8gen3 features such as AI stuff etc on this phone while everything else is on point kinda reminds me of the OnePlus one I used to have. Such a classic OnePlus thing honestly.

Could you please compare the screen of the OnePlus 12 and Samsung S24 Ultra in a glare test? The Ultra seems to do well with glare and Displaymate gave the OnePlus 12 highly regarding reflections. They both should be better than most.

Are the screen off gestures still extremely limited? I'm on a oneplus 8pro running Android 11. And when I upgraded to oxygen 12 they seem to have removed most if the screen off gestures and customizations. Is that the case with the 12 as well?
