I love this podcast! I know this aired two years ago but this show has been so informative and inspiring to me since I discovered it a few weeks ago. Watching this while “yarn tasting” has been a wonderful experience.
Congratulations Andrea & Andrew on your 100th episode. I've been with you since episode 1 & have enjoyed all of them & learnt so much thank you for that. Top tip for Andrew about forgetting his decreases. For patterned garments I write down my rows & strike them off when I've done each one. For the decrease rows I draw a circle around the number then I know I have to decrease on that round. it helps you remember. Good luck with the next 100 episodes & the decreasing Andrew
Oh I loved loved this CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 to you both & of course Madeline. The fun you both have together is infectious. I have to admit I love Andreas comment I must have another drink!!!!!!!! We all do this Enjoy the moment 🙏
Lol! I laughed sooo hard at your umm compilation! All I remember is LOVING watching a husband and wife knitting and co-host team ❤️❤️❤️ I’ve been here since the beginning and it was always my relax and knit for an hour and rewatch to learn amazing new things 😁😁😁 congratulations on 100
Congratulations on your 100th episode! Amazing content- love the learning, travel/outdoor clips, interviews. I highly recommend your videos to all knitters and some non-knitters, too!
Congrats! Andrea and Andrew. Have loved your podcast from the very first one. 100 episodes is such a milestone.....what’s amazing is how much content you consistently have. I look forward to your next 100 and wishing you two all the best as you go forward in your journey.💞
Bravo! Congratulations Andrea and Andrew on your 100th episode. I've enjoyed every viewing moment of every episode. It's amazing how much knowledge & talent there is to discover in the world of knitting. Thank you for all that you do & sharing it here on you-tube for all to see.
Congratulations on your 💯 th episode! Your sweater turned out beautiful! Your daughter's current project is turning out beautifully! Andrew you are doing a fantastic job on the sweater! The lace is looking spectacular! Please stay safe! Thank you for all that you do!
What a great compilation of interviews. Thank you so much for your hard work over the last four years and providing this amazing content to the knitting community.
Congratulations on the 100th episode! I have so enjoyed watching your growth and expertise flourish over the four years since you started filming and I started watching. It is one of my favorite things to see my Patreon statement come in and to see your name there-the excellence in production and content is unparalleled in my opinion in any other podcast. I have learned about so many designers and knitters and have happily knitted their patterns or purchased their yarns using my Patreon discount and on the recommendations you have made regarding their work or products. I also deeply appreciate the pieces you have done on festivals in other parts of the world and your trips to Shetland have inspired me to take a brief sabbatical in a couple of years from my teaching in the fall so that I can go to attend the festival and apply for a fellowship in knitting in either Shetland or at the Fair Isle Studio. Because of your work I am a better, more dedicated knitter who is ready to challenge herself to do more complicated and different types of designs, and for that I am deeply grateful. Even though I have been knitting for pretty much my entire life, growing and learning is always important when deepening our craft. Cheers to you both and best wishes for many more episodes in the future.
What fun this episode is. Congratulations on your milestone. I loved Florian. His dry sense of humor will keep me chuckling for days. I am so glad you “forced “ him do be a guest. And your daughter is so charming.
This was so, so enjoyable! I have watched you from Day 1 and been a Patron since Day 1 of that too, and you do everything so professionally. Mind you, I'm glad you both got out of the Erm, Erm stage - that was so funny to watch!! Here's to the next 100. xx
Congratulations on the 100th episode. I don't know how I found you in the beginning, but I've watched you from the start. Your podcast has been one of my regular pleasures.I've learned so much, been given a ton of inspiration and entertainment, and feel like I've made two wonderful friends with whom I share many values and interests. Thank you for all the time and energy you put into this. My regular patron donation is well worth it in the value I've received back. May you continue to be healthy and inspired to keep this up indefinitely.
Congratulations on your 100th episode! I enjoy your show so much, and the first episode I watched was the one from vogue knitting live. I couldn’t believe there was something like your show out there, let alone a whole convention for knitting! Your show is so enjoyable to me whether I’m knitting and watching it or falling asleep to Andrea talking about techniques or to people in the industry (and later going back to watch what I missed). This show like the craft is soothing. I picked up knitting as a new hobby because of quarantine. I’m still a beginner, but I so want to appear on knitters of the world. I’ll probably be the least impressive knitter there. But, I might be one of the most interesting ones, as I am from the United Arab Emirates, which is basically a hot desert climate year round, so it makes no sense for me to knit, but I love it so much! Love your show, and your family of knitters is goals. Hope this show continues for many more episodes.
Happy 100! Proud to be a patron of this fantastic podcast😊 You two are so charming and make me smile listening to you chat. What a fabulous gift from Florin, such a character and made me squint in awe at the tiny details. Looking forward to many more episodes.
Congrats Andrea and Andrew on your 100th episode. It amazing how much contents you two have allowed us all to learn. So thankful for all your hard work. Here’s to many more, cheers🥂🥂🎉🎉
Congrats to you Andrea and Andrew - what a fabulous milestone, and a wonderful episode to mark the occasion! I'm so happy to be part of your support team to make sure that you stay on the air for another 100 (at least!) Cheers to you from the Gold Coast, Queensland :)
A million thanks and congratulations on your 100th episode of Fruity Knitting. Among the 1000’s of podcasts out there you are truly one of my favourites. I wanted the highlights to go on and on and could have watched another hour of it. Maybe you should have part 11 of your highlights. It brings back memories for all of us. May God Bless you and your family in all your future plans and adventures. Congratulations 🥳!! 👏👏👏💐💐❤️🤗
I've watched this episode three times so far (quarantine makes this kind of behavior okay, right?), and it is more enjoyable every time. Andrew and Andrea, you are so beautifully color coordinated and project happiness and pride. Florian. Yay, Florian. The project, the presentation of the project, the affection behind it...impressive and wonderful. Thank you, A & A for Fruity Knitting, for the vision and the work, the humor, love, and warmth. Madeline, too...
Congrats on the 100th episode. Great show. Love how it's so informative, it's not about consumption of information but actual useful content which we can all learn from and get inspired by. On a different note, Madeleine looks like a perfect mix of the two of you.
Congratulations on 100 episodes! You have come a long way from the first. I very much enjoy the interviews - all the preparation you do shows in the quality. I have to say, the compilation of “ums” was hilarious.
This was a great episode to watch as a recap since I'm new to your show and a new Patreon. I've started at episode 108 and going backwards as a friend recommended... Really enjoying these podcasts - so creative and informational!! 🙏🏻
Congratulations Andrea and Andrew on your 100th episode. I really enjoy watching you both and I love all of the most interesting interviews etc. With best wishes and cheers to you both also. love Ann in South Australia.
Congratulations on 100 fantastic episodes! I have been a patron for a year now and will continue to be one for many years to come. I loved this episode and was so happy that you included my very favourite interview with Lynn Zwerling - she is so inspiring.
Just now getting to watch this, and it is fabulous!! The "ummm" episode cracked me up, of course, but I have loved being inspired all over again by you two. Thank you so much for all the work and love you both put into the podcast. It is just wonderful!
It is so entertaining to see the trials and tribulations of Andrew’s knitting journey. Those of us who have been knitting for years know that it still can be a learning experience, and just because you’ve been doing something one way doesn’t mean you can’t learn a new and better way. But being flexible and open to change is the key. I’ve taken up learning the banjo this year and I’ve had to find the funny side of my ineptitude but I’m assured that I can still build new neural pathways. Thank goodness!
What a champion is Florion. And what a treasure he has knitted for you, the close up of him knitting with all those tiny needles gave me a conniption, wow
That knitted room by Forian is so fabulous. Going on o confession would certainly be wise after that project. Congrats on 100 episodes! Looking forward to many more.
Well done on your centennial. I live in rural northern NSW. and it took me a few episodes to realise you were in Germany and not Oz. I’ve recommended your channel to lots of my friends and I know knitting is your forte but I’d love to see some more crocheting. The interview with Tatsiana from Lillabjorn was one of my favourites. I am always completely speechless at the incredible talents of the special guests you have. I was expecting you to have a background of textiles and crafts so when you said you were a singer and a pianist I thought...”oh..that’s why they have Bach’s 3rd prelude as their theme music”. I’ve been playing that prelude for years and there is no way I can get anywhere near to the speed it’s played. Bit like Andrew and his knitting,,,,the tortoise always wins the race. Hope to see you celebrate episode 200 and in the meantime “well done” and from my view here in the Clarence Valley “Go A&A’’
Hi Andrea and Andrew, you two are amazing. I loved all your episodes. To me, they are all informative and educational and fun. I learned so much about the knitting world from watching your show. Thank you too for sharing your Madelene with us. This 100th episode is so much fun. I have many moments of laughing out loud. I always look forward to your show seeing all your projects and who your guests will be.❤️
Congratulations on the 100th episode, every 2 weeks I look forward to your podcast and enjoy every minute of it.Andrea I love your sweater, when you were knitting it I was not sure about the colour combo but now that it is finished it is stunning as all your work always is.Now I look forward to episode 101.
This comment might be a bit long, but since we're celebrating a milestone I hope you'll find it worthwhile. I want to thank you for a few things that weren't really addressed during this episode (as far as I remember): 1. Travel: You take us outside, for a walk, in Germany, in Wales, in Scotland, which not only allows us to see some beautiful places up close and from overhead (from our favorite drone), it sets a good example for everyone. Sometimes you need to set down the knitting and get up and do something else for a bit. Take a walk! 2. Quirky facts and other educational bits from Andrew: Too numerous to mention at this point, but one of my favorites was the history of flint and how of course different places make their buildings out of the stone that's available in their area. The kind of thing I don't stop to notice until someone says it out loud, it gives us context and connects everything together. Well done. 3. The music! I mentioned once before that I don't do very well with classical music because I find much of quite harsh sounding to my ears, like something bashing me over the head. I have learned here to hand myself over to Andrea's carefully curated selections and give them an open-minded listen. The experience is enhanced by her explanation of the composer's intentions and the stories and feelings they were trying to convey in these pieces. So, I get a little "culture" with my knitting. I know that all of us are hoping for another 100 episodes!
Loved every bit of this. I’ve watched all your episodes, often more than once. So much joy and information in all of them. The compilation at the end was a great reminder of wonderful moments. May there be many more ❤️
Congratulations on your 100th episode! You have changed my knitting to the best! I am not longer alone and I have learned so much. A hugh "Thank You" ❤
Wow, I just get so much enjoyment from each and everyone of your podcasts. I love the music, the scenery, the knitting, the guests, the relationship between you and Andrew, your love of knitting and how well you convey the talents and feelings of all of the artists and creators that you feature and interview. Your episodes, even the “Ummm” episode 5, are just so much fun! Thank you both, you are truly appreciated! A viewer from Michigan, USA
Still watching...but, I'm screaming and grinning ear to ear! First, congratulations on episode 100!! Here's to 100 more! Second, I am beyond honored that I was chosen as a "co-host" with Andrew! That would be too awesome. Thank you so much! My cameo was completely unexpected. LOL!
I adore your podcast. Among the things that I particularly love are the interviews. Your questions are so good. They broach topics I would never think to ask but realize I somehow needed that information. I love this program. My favorite things: to see you guys begin a garment and see it completed. The information on yarns is also something I fully enjoy. I learn so very much. The garments made by your guests. They are amazing. It's a very special fashion show. I wish I was wealthy so that I could contribute to your program and keep excellence going. Bless the three of you. And I don't even know how to knit! But I'm completely hooked on this show. Take care! Ooo, I loved the um portion. Great fun. Laughed and laughed!
From an aussie (in northern vic)to two aussies, well done on your ‘ton’ and for many more to come.Such interesting and informative sessions we have been so fortunate to have.Cheers ,Kath
This is so great, you lovely people! Wonderful to see you both and Madeleine! The knitted lounge from your guest is amazing. Congratulations on episode 100! Amazing!
Congratulations on 100 podcasts! I started watching your take on knitting just a little over a year ago - binge watched into some late nights. It has helped me develop good solid technique as a novice knitter, given me some great reads, sent my to local fibre fests and sourcing, and bonded my mother and I over our knitting. You are a great team and I look forward to each new episode. Thank you for great content and some out loud laughs at times.
Congratulations on the 100 episode! Would like to thank you very much, have watched all 100 with great pleasure and hope that many more will follow. From just daring to knit socks I am now working on fair ilse sweater nr 3. Thank you for help and inspiration!
Congratulations on your 100th episode! I've enjoyed every single one, learned so much, and continue to be inspired by you both. Well done! Cheers! Here's to many more to come!
Thank you! Merci! You bring me beauty, inspiration, knowledge... you are nice and I 💙 you both and your videos. (And you help to practice my english) 🧶🧶🧶
I enjoyed every moment of your 100th episode. An amazing celebration of all you deal with to create this wonderful podcast. Congratulations 🥳 hope you both finished the bottle!
Happy 100th Episode! I can't even begin to say how important this show is to me, and how much you two produce some of the best content on the internet! So glad that I can be a patron. And oh my goodness -- Florian's replica is AMAZING! What an incredible gift.
LOVE LOVE LOVE to you all, it is always great to sweet sweet Madeline. Love the "um" compilation. So pleased I found your podcast not so long ago and thank goodness for the ability to binge watch. Cheers to you both. I have always loved the tidbits given on how to alter garments, and hopefully someday I will be able to knit faster and get more sweaters finished. So many beautiful ones to knit. I do appreciate all you've done, all you do and hopefully the future is full of much more fun, color, and fruity "sexy" sweaters!.
Many congratulations, quite an achievement. Absolutely love your very classy videos. Love the chatty on the sofa, love the interviews. The best ever. Wonderful and a huge thankyou
A beautiful podcast. Congratulations and thank you so much for all of your hard work. I chose to become a patron because you offer such an interesting and professional podcast. I enjoy every one and I learn so much. Much better than buying a magazine. You must both feel very proud xx
Cheers to 100 episodes! Thank you for all your hard work, perseverance and dedication creating a consistently top notch podcast. I appreciate all your efforts.
Congratulations to you both for such an achievement! There’s nobody like you out there, and certainly for me it’s not just the knitting that’s inspiring but it warms my heart to see a couple have so much fun sharing a craft together 💓
Oh I laughed soooo hard on Andrew's compilation of the word whisker 'um'!!! I can totally relate, having been in speaking and teaching classes since I was 10 years old. I still havent kicked it in spontaneous speaking, and in front of a camera? Forget about it! What a fantastic episode. Always exceptional content and editing. Cant wait to become a patron.
First of all let me congratulate you guys for 100 beautiful episodes. Wonderfully inspiring, professional, funny and also educational. :-) You guys rock, pardon, classic rock ;-) ..... I loooove Florian`s interview. That was one of the most adorable monologs I have ever heard and seen. Wonderful present!!!! So much detail and love is in this unique gift. Florian get`s 100 thumbs up :-D :-D I am looking forward to many more episodes and wish you all well. Huggs from the Schurwald Forest, Christina
I possibly cant imagine what negative things there could be to say to you - I think you are marvellous and I brag about you whenever I can. When I first discovered you here on UA-cam I actually thought it was not true, that someone made something about knitting - I did not dare dream of - something interesting, telling stories about people in the world ...seen from behind the needles. Awesome. I cant recall the first episode I saw - maybe 48 or so - it was about Alice Starmore - and she has been my knitting queen from when I was very young - (my youth ends next Thursday, when I turn 60). Since then I have seen all the episodes -it took me quite a while and a lot of knitting being done. Thank you for doing this with your attitude to the content - it fills my mind every time. Congratulations with Episode 100 and your nice little studio from Florian.
Oh my gosh had to pause at minute 55 to wipe the tears off my cheeks, your 'um' reel has me splitting my sides with laughter! Just brilliantly put together! You have both vastly improved in avoiding the spoken pause since episode 5 or are super slick at editing now! Back to the show...
Congratulations on reaching 100 episodes, I found your channel when you were in single digits, I still love it! Sending you all love and best wishes! 😁🍾🎉💕
Congratulations Andrew and Andrea on the 100th episode! I'm a late comer to your podcast - I started watching from episode 90 and I did in in fact go through your back log of episodes and watch every single one at least twice by now! (Some episodes I have even had up to a fifth rewatch!). Each of them is equally thoughtful and insightful and is my bi-weekly delight at this point. When you two raised your champaigne glasses, I silently sent a toast to Fruity Knitting and to your wonderful family, and downed the rest of my giant mug of hot chocolate :-) I've been living away from my country of origin and my parents for four years now, so the cosy and homey atmosphere of your podcast and the jokes and you calling each other and Madeleine "darls" just make me feel like I have "Internet knitting parents", if that makes sense. Thank you for bringing this delightful podcast to the knitting world and making a random 20-something knitter feel like she belongs to such a lovely community. P.s.: I've just watched the Knitters of the World segment and WOW!! Florian has such brilliant skills, and I admire his attention to details. That miniature Fruity Knitting "studio" is so adorable and true to life!
A huge congratulations from Toronto on 100 episodes. I enjoy your shows so much. To call it a podcast is somewhat misleading. I think of your series as a magazine show. It's classy and professional with high production values, and very, very interesting guests. I think one of my favourite episodes was of the two sisters who knit lace from the Shetlands. I hope the show has brought you as much satisfaction and pride as it has brought me enjoyment and enrichment. Looking forward to many more.
What an incredible achievement. Your knitting podcasts are a treat I look forward to and appreciate all the work that goes into such a professional production. Thank you so much and many Congratulations!!!!
Such a wonderful episode. But honestly I feel that way about each and every one of them. Being able to support your podcast makes me very proud. Thank you.
Ha ha 😂🤣😅 I loved your "uummm" segment. I sat cackling like an old chook and had to put my knitting down. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate your podcasts, especially during this CV-19 lockdown. I would so love to join patreon for you but I'm on the age pension and can't afford it right now ... but at least I can give you my heartfelt thanks and appreciation. You definitely inspire me. I've knitted a fairisle jumper for one of my daughters and I'm in the middle of my first ever sock (cheers Andrew 😁). Andrea your jumpers are utterly awesome and the music you guys play is sooooo beautiful.
Congratulations on 100 episodes. I became a patron at the beginning of this year, best thing ive signed up for! I loved seeing the clips of past episodes & the variety you give us.
Congratulations!!! Your Podcast is one of the first I started following and is still one of my favorites. It is definitely the most well done. The filming, the content, the interviews, the delightful back and forth between the two of you, the quality of your knitting---all of it. I have learned so much. It was a great help in my transition as I left work due to a disability. Thank you for all your hard work and please don't stop!! Be well and best wishes
Congratulations!! I've been watching since the beginning and have enjoyed every episode. Thank you for all your wonderful work, dedication, and passion... Can't wait to see what you'll come up with during the next 100 episodes!
Congratulations!! I’m such a visual person ..... I so appreciated the visual (particularly while you were wearing the sweater) on short rows at the beginning of the episode. Everyone has their own learning mode and this one gives me such courage to change the pattern for a better fit. 😊
Many congratulations for your 100th episode. I toasted with you, to at least 100 more. I got a giggle out of the image of Andrea and Arne doing a show together--that would be priceless! Andrew and Constance would be fun too, but in a more serious way.
Great video, thanks for mentioning us! 🙏🙏😊😊
I love this podcast! I know this aired two years ago but this show has been so informative and inspiring to me since I discovered it a few weeks ago. Watching this while “yarn tasting” has been a wonderful experience.

Thank you, Karishma. I think we can both be proud of that!!
God bless you both with good health. Thank you so much for bringing us these precious knitting journals. From Baltimore Maryland

I want to thank you for a few things that weren't really addressed during this episode (as far as I remember):
You put a big smile on my face (again)
Thank you ! And I'm looking forward to more episodes (200 , 300...)
LOL!
You're a treasure!
You would be so awesome!
I love your work! You would be awesome I agree!
I totally agreed with them when you popped up! Lol 👏🏾
Constance! To be a guest!!
"I cursed so hard that I had to go to a full confession afterward" ! Florian, you are amazing!!
This made me laugh so hard 😆
Congratulations! It's such a great pleasure to watch you. I'll keep my fingers crossed for at least next 100 episodes!

Congratulations, well done. You have both done a fantastic job!
Congratulations on the 100 episode! Would like to thank you very much, have watched all 100 with great pleasure and hope that many more will follow. From just daring to knit socks I am now working on fair ilse sweater nr 3. Thank you for help and inspiration!

Happy 100th!! Fantastic! 🥂 Amazing accomplishments. Well done and may you have many more!! 🥂
Thank you, Mrs Carruthers!
Congratulations! Well done on all the great shows. We loved Florian's replica of your lounge room.
The reproduction of your room is amazing! What a lovely gift.
Isn't it!
A beautiful podcast. Congratulations and thank you so much for all of your hard work. I chose to become a patron because you offer such an interesting and professional podcast. I enjoy every one and I learn so much. Much better than buying a magazine. You must both feel very proud xx
Thank you so much Midge for your words and for your support as a Fruity Knitting Patron.
Congratulations! Thanks for the time and effort in producing 100 episodes!!🍾
Thank you for 100 beautiful and awesome episode and looking forward to the next 100 ☺️
Cheers to 100 episodes! Thank you for all your hard work, perseverance and dedication creating a consistently top notch podcast. I appreciate all your efforts.
Thank you, Lori. 101 is on its way!! (And it's going to be lots of fun.)
This was a good reminder to go back and rewatch many episodes! I've enjoyed so many. Thank you both for all you do for us!
Danke, Christina!
Congrats on your 100th podcast !! I think Andrew is an amazing knitter, slowness doesn't matter, it is not a race.
Congratulations on your 100th episode. It is such a joy to watch your podcast. I with you another 100 episodes! Best wishes always.
This was such a great episode! I am immediately watching it over again. Well done, both of you.
I was so happy to see that you had finished your sweater. I know there was a tremendous amount of work on this one and it's so beautiful! Great job!
I am so behind watching these! I love that jumper on you Andrea! The colours really suit you! Great episode and congratulations!
Good, Julie. Split sides, tears, that's what we were after!
Congratulations on reaching 100 episodes, I found your channel when you were in single digits, I still love it! Sending you all love and best wishes! 😁🍾🎉💕
Thank you, Meg.
When you two raised your champaigne glasses, I silently sent a toast to Fruity Knitting and to your wonderful family, and downed the rest of my giant mug of hot chocolate :-)
I've been living away from my country of origin and my parents for four years now, so the cosy and homey atmosphere of your podcast and the jokes and you calling each other and Madeleine "darls" just make me feel like I have "Internet knitting parents", if that makes sense.
Thank you for your very sweet comments.
Congratulations on a lovely podcast. My absolute favorite!!!😊
I love your Podcast, never miss it! I have been here through all 100 episodes. They have all been excellent, I have learned so much. Thank you Both!
Congratulations on your 100th episode. I love your show and have learned so many different techniques. Wishing you continued success!
Thank you, Betty. Working on Episode 101 right now!
What an incredible achievement. Your knitting podcasts are a treat I look forward to and appreciate all the work that goes into such a professional production. Thank you so much and many Congratulations!!!!
Love it! Keep going. You are the best knitting podcast ever🌹❤️
Thank you, Ellen. Always open to flattery and flowers.
Such a wonderful episode. But honestly I feel that way about each and every one of them. Being able to support your podcast makes me very proud. Thank you.
Thank you Shirley
Thank you for your support and your kind words, Christine!
Congratulations Andrea & Andrew on your 100th Podiversary, 🎉 well done ! 🎉 I'm looking forward to another 100. 😙😙
Thanks, Lorraine. We're starting with Ep. 101 and we'll go on from there!!
What a fantastic review of the first 100 episodes! Thank you Andrew and Andrea 👏👏👏❤
Marvelous 100th episode-many happy memories; I could watch the sheep and dogs all day!
Congratulations!! I love your podcast so much and as a crocheter I’ve also been so inspired to learn to knit!
