Another wonderful episode! I loved your 20th anniversary flashback photos. Also, Amy Detjen is such an amazing teacher and person. I've been fortunate to have been with her and Meg three times for Knitting Camp or Fall Workshops and have used the knowledge gained for successes. The knitting community is really full of the best folks! Andrew and Andrea, I wish you a delightful holiday jaunt!

1:14:32 Wow This was a real eye opener, I´ve been wrapping the yarn the wrong way around, when knitting backwards. Now I am able to fix my mistake. Thank you so much!! Greetings from germany!

To non-Patrons watching this episode...this alone should show the value of helping with a small monthly amount, if you can do so. So much information from Amy Detjen that I'm almost breathless. I'm definitely going to watch this over and over AND the tutorials too. Thank you Andrea and Andrew for this interview. I actually put my knitting down to focus on everything she was explaining. I've been admiring Stephanie's clock and paused podcast to buy it! I'm ready for a new project. Farm school sounds like fun. This episode is definitely 5 star quality!! Oh and I loved all the music too. HUgs

Yes I found double knitting through The Bakery Bears and then Lucy Neatby on Bluprint and yes I am addicted. I was born in Nova Scotia (where Lucy Neatby lives) and now live in New Brunswick so it has been so exciting to find such a talented knitter so close to me. I have done lots of double knitting including hats, Mitts and cowls for Christmas presents this year. I have just ordered this book from Knit Picks and can not wait for it to arrive!!!

Thank you again for a wonderful Podcast!! and I agree wholeheartedly !!! Amy Detjen is amazing. So much to learn. Please have her back!!!! I've realized we do things intuitively as knitters, throughout our knitting "careers"; some stay and advance and some get left behind. Brought back memories of my early knitting days as I "figured" things out Your wedding jacket is going to be amazing Andrea!!! Loved the look back!! Never thought of you as a "child of the universe", Andrew!!! Take Care of each other. Regards, Roxanne.

Hi Andrea, I have done 6 of Christel´s designs, and you don´t have to sew the steek on the sewing machine before steeking, you just have to steam it with your steaming iron, just put at damp tea towel on the steek and the iron on the highest setting and put it on the towel and press and steam with the iron for about 5 to 10 sek. and tjek the steek and if it looks like the yarn has bloomed you can cut it, that´s what I have done all the time and it´s all fine... Hope you will try it, or you can hand sew it with your trusted backstich that´s what Christel recomend…
    LOVE your podcast.
