Kazakhstan is just plains...endless plains. Kyrgyzstan, though much smaller, is much better. The mountains are unbelievably amazing. They make Colorado look like Kansas.
And most of the kirgiz people are polyglots as well...During my erasmus semester I met 5 of them, and all of them were able to speak Russian, Kirgiz, Kazakh and Turkish natively, and one of them also spoke Uzbek on top of that as well.
Ирфан Манџука lmao if you are turkic, you start the life with 6 languages that you can speak and understand)) Turkish, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, Azerbaijani
Ирфан Манџука I personally would say I speak 3 languages well which includes my native Azerbaijani but I wouldn't say I also speak Turkish on top of that since it's a accent in my opinion of the same language like UK and US English. It's like a Russian that says he also speaks Ukrainian
Ирфан Манџука I'm from Kazakhstan and i speak russian, kazakh, english also i understand kyrgyz, uzbek, tatar, ukrainian, turkish and others are similar to the three languages I speak.
Is Turkish linguistically close to Kyrgyz and Kazak? I know its a Turkic language, but the Turks are literally removed from Central Asia, and seem to have a culture that has been heavily influenced by the Greeks and Arabs, so I'm wondering if the language has been affected too. Also how close are Turkmen and Uzbek?

Bishkek 312 hey, i wonder that what mostly kyrgyzstan peoples are speak? turkic language or russian? Or are kygzstan peoples know both turkic and russian?
Hi I am learning Turkish (I am from the UK) and I am wondering whether the 'Beshbarmark' food dish comes from 'Bes parmark' (Five fingers) in Turkish? Please help :)
Esther May yeah it literally means five fingers :)
Thank you :) I wonder why it has that name!
I must go to Kyrgyzstan now! The people and culture looks awesome and the scenery is just jaw dropping!
Daniel K better come to Kazakhstan here is the same and even better
Cedar Elm :)
+Бауыржан Қайратұлы backpacking for 10 days holidays in either...any famous hike trails
You definitely should visit Kyrgyzstan. You will be in love with this lovely country)
You are right! For our nation easy to learn other languages. Honestly, I know 6 languages (Including German)
Ирфан Манџука I personally would say I speak 3 languages well which includes my native Azerbaijani but I wouldn't say I also speak Turkish on top of that since it's a accent in my opinion of the same language like UK and US English. It's like a Russian that says he also speaks Ukrainian
Ирфан Манџука I'm from Kazakhstan and i speak russian, kazakh, english also i understand kyrgyz, uzbek, tatar, ukrainian, turkish
and others are similar to the three languages I speak.
Kyrgyzstan seems like a cool country 😃👍. Love from greece 🇬🇷🇰🇬
Indeed it is very cool
Kyrgyzstan Hate Greece 🇰🇬❤️🇹🇷
Greetings and much love to our brothers and sisters in Kyrgyzstan from a Belgian Turk.
Kurdish Aryan Median Hurrian Hittite wow I'm really hurt now. Don't you have anything better to do than shittalk to Turks.

Knew nothing about Kyrgyzstan until now. Seems like a great country with rich culture and nice people! Respect from Albania 🇦🇱❤️
Thnk u
Kyrgyzstan hates albanians... and albanians are also supposed to hate them
@@karinano1stan We have neutral attitude for albanians. They do nothing bad for us. If they have problems with serbians and russians its not our business.
They kidnap women they wanna marry in that country. Have fu
PERSHENDETJE
Sounds like Kyrgyzstan is one of the rarities that have good relationship with all of the 3 giants without too much tension? That's soooooo coooooool.

This was a wonderful presentation. Not too long, but packed with useful information.
Side note: I bet the US episode will be at least half an hour
Love that... Haha...South america joke. So random😂
was expecting for the Lake name joke but HA! He expected it!!
I thought he was laughing at the 'Titicaca'. Nice diversion.
I did not get it ;-;
+wander usually people would laugh at "Titicaca lake". but he diverted the joke.
In English ‘titi’ is the joke, in Spanish ‘caca’ (poop) is the joke
Who needs notifications when you sit on youtube all of Wednesday waiting just for Geography Now

man you are well informed! I am Kyrgyz myself. Kazakhs and I are very similar, we have the same traditions, culture, religion, and languages differ as the language of New York and London, only an emphasis.
Hello Kyrgyzstan.
I'd love to visit Kyrgyzstan. Thanks for sharing the video
You're welcome
Hi to Kyrgzstan from Turkey! Selam kardeşlerim ✋
wa'alaikum salam

FLAG explanaition. When Kyrgyz were born first they see was a sun through the top of the yurt (TYNDYK in Kyrgyz) And 40 rays of sun represent 40 tribes of Kyrgyz.
(And no X Box isnt our sponsor))))
Kyrg(or today,kirk) also means 40(the number).
@@oguzhaaaaaaan
Oh. I thought 40 was a arterie in my leg.
Hey, thanks a lot for this :) I'm really proud of how far my country has come and again, thank you for making this video. Now everyone can see how amazing my country is :)
at 1:30 and various other parts in the video when you show the borders in yellow it is VERY hard to see the borders. you should really change the color because it would be nice to see the borders. i've noticed this on a lot of videos recently.
jarhetttt IMO, He doesn't need to change the color of the border but instead make it thicker, so we can see it.
Yeah thats what I meant to say lol. just wanna see those borders yo
Kirgistan, tanah orang-orang kirgis. love from Indonesia 🇮🇩

Such an underrated and interesting country. Lots of love and appreciation from Greece 🇬🇷🇰🇬❤️
Thank you Greece :)
But I have to warn you we are a Turkic people
@@xanshen9011😂
@@xanshen9011 Nah don't confuse Turkey's citizens with Turkic people because they are hardly Turkic lol.
Why do I love Kyrgyz people, they’re so brave, I’m still impressed, in Kazakhstan we still can’t change or choose our president:(
Like they made themselves any better.
Awww thanks! And by the way, we can choose our presidents but we rather have a kazakh president, than our incompetent robbers
Much love from Kyrgyzstan! ❤️🇰🇬🇰🇿💙
Why not?
Then, travel to Kyrgyzstan
Long live Nursultan tho. He did great in restoring Pan-Turkic relations and further pushing the idea of a unified Turkic peoples which will greatly benefit everyone involved
So Kyrgyzstan is the Big Lebowski of Central Asia.
Shut the f*** up Donny.
One of my foreign friends is from Karakol. I didn’t even know of the country’s existence until we met. Very interesting country no one really knows about, and will have to make a visit soon to.
Scott Wild welcome to KG anytime, we love to have guests
Welcome i live in Karakol
Scott Wild always welcome to our country)
karakol means police station in turkish lol
name surname Well I think it means black lake in Kyrgyz. Definetly know kara means black.
These videos are fun and informative! It also helps break down stereotypes that we may hold about other countries and people, by presenting them as just that - people, just like you and I. Well done, for bringing some sunshine to UA-cam!
Hi From Turkey to Kyrgyzistan :)
Merhaba kardeşim benim 😊 (ben Kırgızım)
Interesting country. Love from the Philippines 😘
Yeah!
Actually I have recently started to look into all the -Stan countries and boy it amazed me. Would love to visit all these countries one day. All these five countries should cooperate and turn the region into a major economic powerhouse.
Anyway greetings from Bangladesh.
On a motor bike.
Afghanistan , Pakistan and Tajikistan are not the Turkic countries . So we have different culture and history. “-stan” just means “land”. Kazakhstan = Kazakh+land
@@magzhanamrekulov4241 Also many European countries have a Stan suffix in native Persian and Turkish language. So actual number of contries that end with "Stan" is much higher.
@@magzhanamrekulov4241 they even sound scary
It's difficult to travel to Turkmenistan but nobody stops you.
FINALLY this episode is BACK
10:21 ... the US is exporting Switzerland?

I would think the flag stands for the red cross, which is a humanitarian organization.
Those swiss chocolate
No, the cross of the red cross is actually red. Switzerland has a white cross. Afaik the red cross was modelled after the Swiss flag.
