In my diocese there are at least five priests who know how to celebrate the TLM, but only two of them are permitted to say it on a regular schedule, and the eldest of the other three refuses to say it at all. Of the two priests who celebrate the TLM regularly, one is the lead pastor of a church about 35 minutes from me, while the other is the lead pastor of a church about 1 hour from me. After being scandalized by a previous lead pastor of the NOM Catholic church that’s 3 minutes from my home, I switched to the TLM church 35 minutes away from me. There’s also an SSPX church within my diocese that celebrates the TLM, but because of the SSPX’s irregular status, I discourage people from supporting it. I thought priests needed writted permission from Rome to learn the Latin Mass and that such a request was dependent on the priests bishop? I'm concerned about this... I say this as a fellow trad. Maybe I'm wrong so please educate me.
Priests don't need permission to learn the Mass, but they do need permission to celebrate it if they are ordained after TC. If they are ordained before, they can celebrate privately.
As Fr. Murray (canon lawyer) points out in the video: no, priest do not need permission to learn the mass. They need it to celebrate it. But, learning it is another matter.

Is this in violation of Traditionis Custodis? Shouldn't we be obedient to the magisterium? I thought priests needed writted permission from Rome to learn the Latin Mass and that such a request was dependent on the priests bishop? I'm concerned about this... I say this as a fellow trad. Maybe I'm wrong so please educate me.
Priests don't need permission to learn the Mass, but they do need permission to celebrate it if they are ordained after TC. If they are ordained before, they can celebrate privately.
As Fr. Murray (canon lawyer) points out in the video: no, priest do not need permission to learn the mass.
They need it to celebrate it.
But, learning it is another matter.
THE TLM CANNOT BE BANNED

Stop talking about the liturgy and talk more about the teachings. They go hand in hand. We are not the INSTITUTE OF CHRIST KING. It's more than LACE AND INSCENCE
Unite TLM communities. We don’t need division here.
@@TheGringoSalado What are the "TLM communities"?
@@littlerock5256 those that support and defend the TLM.
@@TheGringoSalado That is sufficiently vague. The 1962 was a transitional mass.

Unfortunately, many Catholic Christians claim the Latin Mass is the only valid Mass, which of course would then exclude the Last Supper, also not said in Latin! Peace always in Jesus Christ our Great and Kind God and Savior, He whose Flesh is true food and Blood true drink!
The Mass is said in other traditional languages…Greek, Arabic, Coptic, Slavonic and I’ve heard even Aramaic
