“Businessmen don’t like war.” Lmao I think I will stop it right there, and remind Mr Stone that Smedley Butler felt that war made a very good racket. That’s all War is about - business.

Yes,this IS quite true! General Butler stated that U.S.troops should Only be used to defend the borders of the U.S.Not to invade other countries to use the military for corporate interests,to make money, provide more power for those corporate entities. Gen.Butler's book," War is a Racket," states that in plain black and white terms!

Why do you have only 14000 views, 166 likes and 31 comments here??!! America, your people prefer Beyonce and Kim Kardashiyan. You have some extensive social education work to do.

Truman did not graduate from a university. Provably he did not know Geneva Convention that limits war action to non-military people. It was our tragedy. Also U.S. used Navaho Indian language for military cipher. Almost all Navaho ciphor people made suicide.

Truman was the choice. It was Wallace. Party bosses staged a coup and put in Truman. The rest is history .

As always Stone kicked ass with his intelligent pragmatism. The other guest was nullified by him without a sweat.

I'm surprised Kuznick went so sensationally anti-Trump in the beginning. He sounds like the same people painting George W Bush as an idiot. Kuznick I'm sure knows well that a President can't just order a nuclear strike on a whim. Not sure why he'd suggest otherwise. I notice Stone affected obvious disinterest while Kuznick was going on that rant.

The below contradicts your position. Your linked rebuttal welcome.
Once Trump has successfully conveyed his orders, Strategic Command, which has operational control over U.S. nuclear forces, would implement them. Reif says that the process of launching the warheads should take a little over 15 minutes-less if you don’t use submarine launched ballistic missiles-a system that was designed during the Cold War, when it was believed that the Russians had warheads that could reach the United States in under 30 minutes. If only
“Deterring such a threat and responding to such an attack was thought to require the capabilities to rapidly launch us weapons before Soviet warheads could detonate on U.S. soil and that would have left very little time for the president to consult with his advisers. Hence the consolidating authority in the hands of the President alone,” Reif explained.

Trump knows more than Peter about nukes because he has the codes. With all due respect to Peter.

I am not an American but every time I hear the name Trump I have this impulse to laugh. When I hear 'President Trump', the impulse surges towards howling, rib aching howls. I no longer have to pinch myself when those two words are used together.
Well, in that empire's dying years Rome had its Caligula!
