The guy playing "Bill" was actually a pretty good actor. He really did look like he was going to cry when the cops were leading him away at the beginning.
"That's not Beer they're drinking. It's Tomato Soup!" YES. Because we know the dangers of drinking tomato soup and then driving. You're hilarious! And I mean that in a good way.
someone's blood alcohol percent depends on the size of their body and the strength of their liver/ tolerence. so saying it happens to everyone after two beers is BS!
Its weird that everything on DUI Ive ever seen is actually wrong. It takes 45 minutes before your liver even begins to get rid of the alcohol, and its actually an hour and 20 minutes to rid the body of a single drink. But for some reason they give people incorrect information and people time out their drinks while out drinking, only to end up getting a DUI even after waiting the amount of time that would completely clear their system. Anyways I'm in DUI classes and the lady who runs the class goes off on a rant about this ever time I'm there. XD
Oh Linkara dont be insane thats not a doctor that is waving his ruler around that is the grand master wizard waving his wand also i might be drunk and GET out of my house.
"The other 10 percent [of driving decisions] are based on how badly the driver has to go to the bathroom." I guess that means alcohol is "pyschologically" addictive too. The more you have to pee, the more addicted you become!
So I looked it up and yes, at one point in the U.S., the legal limit for BAC was .15%. And this was enacted back in 1938, but still it's another example of "What the hell, 1950s?"
A LOT of people were really apprehensive towards this one when it came out last year, and I'm still in that. The jokes are funny don't get me wrong, but this riffing on this PSA just seems a little...morbid. Even taking aside the fact that drunk driving is still a major problem today, the way this PSA was made was so much more serious than all the other PSA's we've seen riffed so far. It's sort of like some of the drug commercials in Doug's Top 11 Drug PSAs. Why frighten young people with stuff like these when the parents can just sit down with their kids and give them the facts? Oh well.
En garde my malicious Minnesotan! As a proud son of Wisconsin who live in a town known for statistically high levels of obesity, I'll fight on behalf of the fine chain whose honor you've defiled! Have at thee! I'm just having a laugh. Out of curiosity though, why did you pick Culvers for that joke? I know you probably won't see this, but if you do, I'm sad to say I don't get the joke.

Linkara as the narrator never gets old.
the stark level of drunkenness is like the kelvin of scale of drinking
"...and the woman may never walk again"
But at least her hair still looks fantastic.
"That's not Beer they're drinking. It's Tomato Soup!" YES. Because we know the dangers of drinking tomato soup and then driving. You're hilarious! And I mean that in a good way.
Friends don't let friends wear flannel!
Ironically, a Stella Artois ad played before this.
Please do more riffs, Linkara! These are too funny!
"the botle and the throttle" sounds like the title of a pornographic film.
someone's blood alcohol percent depends on the size of their body and the strength of their liver/ tolerence. so saying it happens to everyone after two beers is BS!
Frank Castle not to mention, sex, race, and digestion play a role too
Great info.
Flannel shirt, the most heinous of crimes and doesn't this narrator know of the dark sunglasses master, Albert Wesker?
cartooncreator5953
He truly is
5:27 I can't have been the only one expecting a Blues Brothers joke.

Well this was made in like the 50s.
I was waiting for the Boys Beware reference. "Public restrooms can often be a hangout for the homosexual." one of my favorites
Sid Davis films are so damn grim. Perfect for riffing.
Oh Linkara dont be insane thats not a doctor that is waving his ruler around that is the grand master wizard waving his wand also i might be drunk and GET out of my house.
and the lesson here is always wait one hour before driving or else you'll get cramps
the tony stark scale of drinking is like the kelvin scale of alcoholism
“I knew there was an upside to being an alcoholic.”- tom servo
So was Bill found guilty or not about wearing a flannel shirt? I need to know!

KitAkira1989 when and why did it change?
"The Bottle and the Throttle" sounds like a depressed alcoholic's version of any of the Fast & Furious movies.
Before or after the tragic fiery car crash that killed Paul Walker?
Lovely, it's the same narrator from "Boys Beware".
I got a beer ad on this video! XD
.15% is just... damn nuts. So glad the limit is .05% now.
it's .08 dude
Depends on where you live. It's .05 here in Australia.
blinded by the light revved up like a deuce and running in the night
.15? where the hell is that state!? ONE ONE WAY TICKET PLEASE!
Frank Castle Is it really bad?
Isaac Adam no. Most countries have a .05-.08 limit. .15 means you can drink a lot more.
And that's why we need the designated driver campaign. Or Duff Zero.

well like 99% of the facts in this video are wrong so it's OK to riff
Do they have the same narrator for every educational film?
They all sound the same at least.
just imagin if the cop was drunk
I saw that short on TCM a While back.
Flannel shirts have never happened to Bob Corby!
PSA Hell

Come on! Two cans of Tomato Soup can't get you tat drunk! 🤣
.15% as the legal limit? Did that change? In my state it’s.08%
It's weird watching EMS before that meant anything other than transport.
Got a Sam Adam's ad before this. Just thought it was funny.
Wait!! No "lookie lou's" nor rubber neckers?? What gives??? FAKE SHORT!! FAKE SHORT!!!
because no one who ever has beer can ever understand moderation or sleep off their drunkenness!
