Good thing Peter Parker didn't watch this film before going to the homecoming dance, and I'm pretty sure they didn't make a video with Captain America giving dating advice. 11:38- "The Enterprise will keep exploding forever, Homura will never save Madoka, Meglos will take on the form of The Doctor, and Bill Murray will never escape Groundhog's Day!"
we are trapped in the loop, just like they are- *chhhhh* hello and welcome to atop the forth wall, where bad comics burn. it's our 450th episode! wait- didn't we already do this?
Thanks for uploading. I will be sure to apply the valuable techniques as outlined in this educational video the next time I go on a date......that is.............if I ever go on a date.
Why does Anne's sister dress like she's from "Little House on the Prairie?" I know this was the '50s, but damn-- she could be Laura Ingalls with that getup and hair.
Me: Okay, I've written my own riffing on this short, and maybe I should post it so that- (Linkara does a better job than I ever could) Me: You know, never mind.
SCTV riffed on this film way back in the 80s, by Andrea Martin playing Dr. Cheryl Kinsey on her show "Human Sexual Response". Every time she said 'sexual' she got a tic running from her shoulder up to her face.
Actually a "Carnival" with good and games like darts and stuff would be fun and interactive while still being casual enough to break the ice. You wouldn't be nervously alone with someone like at a movie or dinner and it has a set start and end time, so less awkwardly trying to figure out when to end it or take the person home. It could be a good idea for a first date, but these types of "carnivals/fairs" don't really exist anymore.
Bob Corby created the divergent timelines to give Woody a chance to succeed.
I think I've said this before, but "don't call it a date" is actually good advice for the first date.
Kimi FW
It is?
Thanks for the advice.

Does the Riker Maneuver "So you're going out on a date..."

Please, please make more riffs! Yours are some of the best ones!
I love when Linkara does riffs, he always makes me chuckle! :-)
(Happy Days theme plays)

Hi-Teen Carnival with free weed
just go out with me you shrill harpy!!!! xD
I wonder if anyone in the 50's actually used this film to successfully go on a date.
+Kaiser Chris I like to think even back then, the kids knew they were a load of shite.
Yeah knowing my grandparents probably not
I actually wrote a riffing for this exact short, but never recorded it because, well, I'm cheap and lazy
Tareltonlives Pity, I bet it's hilarious.
@@luisreyes1963 thanks. I did it with the characters of MST3k
@@Tareltonlives Do it! Now! I want to see a video from you!!
"Mom! Do we have any cleaning fluid?"

Maybe she’s on her way to a dress rehearsal of her school’s play of Little House On Thd Prairie.
That was the fashion. Some girls dress like they're still in 1880s Victorian Era.
For some reason I keep hearing Hygiene Carnival.
That sounds like a dentist convention :).
Why were all the balloons oblong? The 50's were weird.
Were there no problems when this video was made? Wasn't there the threat of mutually assured destruction or something?
Sal Cusmano this is what we did to distract ourselves
I miss Linkara's riffs.
Me too
Me three
Don't: Open with "Lemme smash!"
Will you be doing more of these riffs?
1:14 - "who's company would you enjoy?" Well, I wish I had invested in Google 20 years ago.
Me: Okay, I've written my own riffing on this short, and maybe I should post it so that-

A suit and tie to go to a carnival? I guess we sure are slobs compared to then.

Goodfellows the early years
No wonder Henry Hill went bad
1:25 Or if you don't rate, just overcompensate.
Mom we're out of Brill Cream!
I just noticed that the only way the characters are described is "nice" I think something is up here.
7:31 - your parents are Oliver Hardy and Aunt Bee?
Discount Judy Garland?
good riffing
Geez, Krillin probably did better at asking 18 out.
Krillin's more romantic than Woody here.
@@Tareltonlives Compared to that guy, Krillin is Don fucking Juan.
Make sure to end the date right by whistling to yourself in the dark
What does he say at 7:25?
MAN, THESE BANANAS ARE GOOD
The way the executed the date itself was kind of boring...
Pokeemblem it’s the 50s
Pokeemblem I know, right? It’s like it’s an educational film from the 50’s or something
