      Adrenalita niesamowita. ;) I zabawa też przednia. Tylko szkoda trochę, że tak się skończyło (choć znając nas to ktoś musiał skończyć na glebie, nie odpuścilibyśmy xd ).

    so .. did you dump it cause you used the front brake in a turn ... or something else?

    • @motoholota
      @motoholota  7 років тому +3

      It was a combination of closing throttle (which compressed the front suspension) and braking too hard in the corner (which compressed suspension even further ;D).
      After previous session front brake started to fade, so the rider adjusted brake lever for that. But he forgot to switch it back for the race. Because of that (and because of muscle memory) he braked harder than he intended to.

      MotoHolota So I was half right ... thought it was just the brakes cause the way it slid out from under you.

      I'd say you were right, closing the throttle is part of braking. ;) And braking was a nail to the coffin. ;D

      Did you brake on the bend?

    • @motoholota

      Short answer: yes. Long answer: My friend on GS 500 wanted to overtake me (duke 390) on that right curve, but then he hesitated and tapped his front brakes. And it wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't for changed settings on brake lever. In previous session his brakes started to fade, so he change lever setting to give him more leverage - and he didn't undo it for the race.

      The important thing is that you're fine, bikes are replaceable. ;)

    Front brakes!

    • @motoholota
      @motoholota  7 років тому +6

      You're right. ;) There was more than one reason for that lowside, but the main one is that the rider forgot to readjust the brake lever. Brakes started fading in previous session, so he ended up changing position of brake lever. So he didn't expect brakes to bite as much as they did. :P

    a ja myślałem, że GS na tor sie nie nadaje

      Parafrazując, "every bike is a race bike if you dare to race it" ;) Prawdę mówiąc sprawdza się całkiem nieźle. Przydałoby się więcej mocy, ale na małym torze nie jest to specjalnie odczuwalne (a radość z wyprzedzenia litra bezcenna). ;D
