There's a lot to criticize the government about but I'll give them credit for the development and infrastructures happening across the island and in particular Eastern Jamaica. I've never been to St Thomas but its looking more attractive as a second home. Shout out to Paul Bogle being appreciated. Very Nice. Let's show George William Gordon some love too.
When is Nother and Southern Trelawny getting something like this? In fact, every parish deserves this. The country needs this. This is what I consider progression and prosperity to be for Jamaica. All that missing are Police and Fire station (cant have these wonderful buildings threatened by fire now).
I only saw NCB listed in this video. I would hope there’ll have all BANKS being represented there at the Urban Center. Otherwise, this is showing the GOVERNMENT giving preferential treatment! And, if so, then this is not good for the people of St. Thomas. Given those that bank elsewhere would not have the same luxury to conduct business in said space.
The project is being funded by a J$6 billion loan from NCB. No other local bank was willing to take the financial risk of funding this project. That is why NCB is given a prominent location in this Urban Centre.

KFC, was not there in the original Plan they have dicided that they and other retailers wanted to be part of the plan! Just give thanks that we have a Government that is trying to develop Jamaica, and we hopefully will not fall back to the inaction of 20 years ago...
I applaud NCB if they’re the one did the funding. That is commendable! Point I’m trying to make is “it” being a Town Center, then “all” Banks should be there. So, I hope that will be so, giving the space. This way citizens will not have to travel to Morant Bay, should they have business at the Center. My thoughts.

They need to let the Chinese build this and it will be built in know time,and sell some of the surrounding property to people on the basis of build highrise building to creat a city centre.
@@osbertgordon9687 hahaha miss , a foreign franchise taking advantage of a developing economy offering low wage work is literally the opposite of progress , its the enemy of progress . progress is society where someone from the lower or middle class can locally start a cook shop , it gets popular , LOCAL capital sees that and invest in it , and it becomes a valuable IP with franchises . that benefits the country and its people in an incredible way
