Hey that's me! So I kinda messed up the part with torrential, but basically the idea is if you have any combination of torrential+overdrive+citadel is just to play them in an order that'll give you as many monster board wipes as possible

Zeus is definitely a good card to add, I sold the ulti a while ago and never bought another one again lol, although tbf we don't attack with xyz that often I don't see the use of liebe in pure machinas other than using him to climb into zeus? Only way to bring him out would be with dreadnoid, but battle phase is already done at that point
@@carsonhua7645 Overlay any 2 of citadel/ruinforce into a rank 10 train then that turns into liebe, with optional 2k burn on the way. Very nice little 2 card package that can then optionaly be turned into zeus after if you desire. Zeus also comes down over downerd->gigant X sometimes but a bit rarely. Course its not that common. Ive been mostly on going second machina with kaiju recently so zeus is kinda null in that but underworld goddess likes to put in work. Good question. Couple of reasons. 1) They're not used for the same reason. Limiter removal would more be used to finish games or to OTK turn 2, while resavenger is meant to be a constant threat in the early-mid game due to him coming back to hand every turn. Machinas aren't a "big numbers turn 2 OTK ASAP" deck like Cydras or Numerons. We go turn 1 and establish card advantage by plussing on opponent's turn and wiping opponent's monsters until we're comfortable to go for the OTK 2) Limiter removal destroys everything in end phase. Since again we need to stay alive early, resavenger having no drawbacks for using him is enough, and his +1200 kills pretty muchanything anyways (literally wins us the eldlich matchup lol) 3) It's kinda unnecessary. When we go for OTK, we spam out smt like Citadel+Fortress+Ruinforce+Metalcruncher+Any other big body, which are all enough to win the game on their own anyways even if a few of them need to crash. Limiter removal's certainly not the worse choice tho, I wouldn't hate on anyone using it in machinas, and I can even see some use in the end phase destruction, I just prefer resavenger by a long shot
Is this deck beating kashtira? God no (more than likely) but honestly its just a cool looking deck and getting second back when floo and eldb*tch infested the meta is not bad at all.
Other than being budget, there are pros and cons to earth machines vs pure machinas in terms of gameplay I prefer pure machinas for: -Not being a combo heavy deck. This means more linear gameplay (which is both a pro and a con). Also means we can shrug off handtraps like nibiru and droll very easily -Being able to play under floodgates way more. Even tho I don't run them myself, (which machina players usually do) Players flipping skill drain, anti-spell, D-Barrier, or even TCBOO all aren't death sentences -Smaller engine means much more space for handtraps/other traps. Also both a pro and con, but I like running decks like that (salads babyyyyy) -Barely using extra deck means being able to run extrav/prosperity with 0 drawbacks. Also, opponent trying to scythe lock is the funniest thing ever

Love this, just picked up all the cards to have fun against my friends.
It makes me proud seeing Pure Machina decks, how do you deal with THOSE birds? I need suggestions.

I'm surprised there's no zeus in this list since ironwolf can go into zeus super easily

Perhaps, but this is a much more budget variant (particularly since you’re not playing Therion, which earth machines do) and can still hold its own :)

It's more budget and with the machina he can grind well. Still strong since alot of people don't pay attention to the deck at all.
