I've got a rule - if I can't hear what a plugin is doing in my cheap screen speakers, then it's junk. Because most music is absorbed on a cellphone today. You did a wonderful job of showing this bit of kit, and of course it's a Lindell....
Hello and many thanks for your comment! In principle, I agree with you. However, I personally like it when plugins sound and work subtly. In a mix, it's often the little nuances that add up in the end and characterize the sound of a song. Of course, this always depends on the intended use of the plugin and your own way of working. :-)
@@ColorfulTonesStudio Oh yes, when I'm USING the gear, it's on a nice Sony headset, studio speakers, a home stereo, and then a set of cheap earbuds. When I'm watching demos, I want to know the thing will make a difference on the 3 inch celluloid speakers or earbuds most people actually use. Oh, I also enjoyed your film where you explained things - best to you and your channel in the future! Interesting that we have to master 3 times now. Once for audiophiles with nice gear, once for squashed mp3s + 4s, and now 7 or 9.1 surround.
@@SteamvilleQuintet I'm sorry that I misunderstood. Of course you are absolutely right, in a demo video one should be able to hear what the plugin does. I'm glad you liked the other video too. Thank you so much for your words, I really appreciate it!
@@ColorfulTonesStudio No worries, I'm just a nobody with a dream of animating a CGI film and recording a soundtrack for it. Shouldn't take more than 5 years since "I drink alone (George Thorogood)". Keep 'em flying!

@@SteamvilleQuintet Stay tuned! I know how difficult it is to realize something like this and wish you every success with your project!
I very much like this style of video. Thank you
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you like the format.
