Fantastic story about your Mother's Angel .. Good stories all around .. "As I'm sitting here doing nothing but aging .. Still my guitar gently weeps" ... so many thanks! - seraphim
Thank you so much for joining myself & Molly....I am determined to keep pushing through, and whilst doing so I can not help but reminisce of times past. Still My Guitar Gently Weeps is a classic for me also. 🙏 Steve & Molly.
Thank you, it is one of my very favourite fishing spots, however, the water levels were very low, mainly because of the the glorious weather, and as you point out, I did spend some prime time sat on the bank, enjoying the vista, as well as smoking that glorious tobacco. 👌 Steve.
Hey Steve! What a treat to have been brought to the river with you! If it was only about the catching of fish I would have given up the fly fishing hobby long ago. Luckily rivers only tend to be in beautiful places, and there’s always a bank to enjoy a pipe. You chose a great day to open that tin, I’m sure it was one to remember. Cheers! Alex
Hello Alex, you are correct on every level, I think if you wait for those perfect conditions we would never wet a line....So good to be at the waterside, with a tin of tobacco which deserved to be appreciated in those wondeful surroundings. Yes, a day to remember, first time on the River in over two , nearly three years, a chance to catch up with Martin at the Bryntinion & Chill. Keep Well, Steve & Molly.
Hiyas Steve, It's always good to see you and to listen in. My good friend in High School had restored a 1965 Mini. His Father owned a racetrack in the Chicago area that was configured especially for racing Mini's (Blackhawk Farms). I'd never seen anything like it here in the States. Imagine that, George Harrison, just down the street. He was my favorite Beatle, yeah. Thanks for the nice Welsh scenery and all the best to yer grandson!! KPO ✓ Gary
Thank you Gary, so pleased you were able lock back into those memories of yours'...yes, George Harrison scouting round in that mini. yes, the Grandson is doing very well...he is enjoying every moment... I am determined to get my Good Friend back on the River with me, in that same spot on more accommodating conditions...and yes, George has become my favourite Beatle, such a talent. Steve & Molly
Thank you for joining Molly and I, the 1882 is something I do savour as a luxury smoke , I hope you enjoy your tins as much as myself... Steve & Molly.
It's a very enjoyable video, I would have just enjoyed sitting in a chair by the river smoking my pipe and enjoying the view! Love the talk from your garden as well!
Thank you Professor, the sound of the River, and the refreshing up stream breeze, ideal for a little pipe tobacco induced meditation... yes, especially so, having enjoyed a full English / Welsh breakfast at the Bryntinion Inn. 🙏 .
Thank you Dave, yes, fishing, not catching, however, like you say a very pleasurable time , looking forward to going back better prepared on a day and time more suitable . Hope the training is going well. Steve & Molly.
How many times have I caught myself midday on a river, pond, lake or seashore and thought to myself… i know better than to fish at this time and then I look around at my surroundings and think to myself… it’s still worth it.
Thank you Scott, you are not wrong, although conditions were not ideal for fishing, it was ideal for a little contemplation , and quality pipe smoking time. 🙏 Steve & Molly.
Thank you Edward, ...yes, this particular spot holds so many fond memories for me, apart from what can be some fine fishing, the wild life is amazing, plus the Brynterion Inn also has its merits, especially in the winter time. 🙏 Steve & Molly.
@@TheGentlemanScholar Respectfully, my recommendation for a book, from yourself, would be based on your exploits with those wonderful & considerate passengers you meet on your flights.
