Hello Steve...It's nice to see you!...And Molly !
Thank you for your comments, and thank you for joining Molly and I on our ramble . Steve & Molly 🐾
As always music to my ears, nice to see Molly working she’s a lovely dog. Nice pipe Steve thanks for the country tour, I be doing the same in the morning god willing. Steve Molly can sense something is about to happen. Nothing lasts for ever. Take care. Bye Molly
Tony thank you, for sure Molly was acting out of character just before the explosions, yes there were drones, even so, she has heard these before many times and not reacted. enjoy your walk tomorrow morning.
👍 Steve & Molly 🐾
Evening Steve and mollie 😊, Steve I loved every minute of this fantastic video, just what I needed after a cold day at work, when the elastic snaps on the dog you know you’ve got to get em back 😂.a great bit of history indeed. Wainwright what a fantastic man and voice he had. I got brought up on him wi me mam and dad, be good to hear more on him I look forward to that. Steve take care stay warm my friend 😊
Alfred Wainwright, a solitary kind of chap, so humble too, but through his guide books has become known by millions, I am pretty certain that he would not have achieved as much without his pipe...Yes, Molly, when she went AWOL, completely out of character, drones? pending danger? who knows, but yes, the whistle brought her home . Thank you Bob, I am sure you have got the heat back in the bones by now. 👍😊 Steve & Molly.🐾
@@3riverspiper1792 ha yeah all warm, in the living room with the log burner chogging away just lovely
I live in Farnworth at part of Widnes and about 3.5 miles from the blast 💥. It was very loud from here, so imagine the houses across from the towers 😂
For sure the earth moved for me, the proceedings were probably meant to be clouded in mist for this occassion, it was strange going out this morning with Molly to be greeted by just the four towers, progress I suppose?? Thank you for joining us on our walk, I must say, your channel name intrigues me, the Reds, I could guess, and I could be wrong 😊and the vintage 1959 ?, oh well , good to have a mystery. Thank you again for your support and encouragement. Steve & Molly.
A great lunt, Steve! That's weather to shelter from....with a pipe, of course...
It was a chilly morn for sure , and yes, if the pub had been open I think that would have been my first choice for shelter. 😊
@@3riverspiper1792 Good on you, lad! One of the many reasons I love my British cousins...
Nice walk 👍
Thank you Keith, and thank you for your company...Steve & Molly🐾
Enjoyed the video Steve,
You live in such a beautiful area, must be wonderful to go for walks around those fields. Thanks for taking us along. Moly must enjoy it also.
Sounds like a good bit of history with those towers, and a local landmark gone.
Captain Black is a classic aromatic , sometimes it gets a bad reputation but I enjoyed it now and then.
Regards
Mark
Thank you Mark, we are blessed in regards to the countryside we can explore. yes, although the components of the Captain Black Original are not on my 'go to' list I really enjoyed it, burnt steady and true, with a pleasant taste, Mrs 3 Rivers thought the aroma was wonderful. Steve.
Thank you for taking us along on your Lunt with Molly. Cheers... (subscribed to you)
Thank you Peter for joining Molly & I,...also, I enjoyed your 4 line poem 📜👍 { Thank you for your subscription, I have returned the compliment} Steve & Molly 🐾
Hello beautiful video and tabacco 🔥☁️☁️👋
Thank you Gunther, your comment is very much appreciated. Steve.
Hello Steve and Molly ! Molly is such a good girl !!
I have two tins of 1792 that I will open only if I hear that the end of the world is coming 😂
I am going to buy some Captain Black because I want to try tobaccos that I’ve started with. And because it something that we actually have at the store.
Cool weather!! My favorite time of the year!
Have a wonderful day!!
"I have two tins of 1792 that I will open only if I hear that the end of the world is coming"....Priceless, you have just made my week, 👍😊 You too have a wonderful day. Steve & Molly 🐾
@@3riverspiper1792 😄👍🎄❄️
Captain black is a love of mine. Have you ever tried captain black dark? Pure, sweet, unadulterated goodness!😊😊
Hi Greg, no unfortunately not, it sounds good..I am only blessed to have tried the Captain Black Original becasue of the Professor Jeremiah's kind gesture, apparantly , this was the blend his father smoked when PJ was a boy. Take Care My Friend, and thank you for your support, Steve.
Nice tour Steve 😊. Captain Black was my first aromatic. I still like it, but I don't very much now.
This was my only jouney into this blend, I can see why it is so popular, easy to smoke, steady burn, my wife thinks the aroma is wonderful, but I still come back to my old familiar GH /SG tobaccos. Keep Well Edward, in deed, the fact we are corresponding right now, has inspired me to light up my Peterson Sherlock Holmes, sister to your pipe...Happy Days My Friend. Steve.
Well, looks like my original comment was removed by the overlords. Oh well, they must not have liked that I agreed with you on another purpose for drones. Good to see you out and could at least hear the towers being "disassembled". Nice you were able to get a copy of a video showing the event. A lot of local history for you between their construction and removal. Thanks for the mention of Oskar's first Autumn video. A pat to Molly, and best for the holidays ahead.
Hi Dave, you may just have solved the puzzle as to why so many comments have seemingly disappeared 💡, the towers, yes , the earth did move.... Thank you again, Molly has duly received her pat from yourself, please administer the same appreciation to Oskar from ourselves. Steve & Molly 🐾
Nice walk with some added chemical created noise, sorry you missed the firsthand view! I've got a couple bowls left in my 1792 tin beside me and I had a pouch of the Capt Original in my hand from the cellar drawer but I went for five brothers instead!
Thank you as always for your very supportive comments...not heard of the Five Brothers tobacco before, I shall look it up....you have me stumped on 'chemical noise', I thought the only noise was from my ramblings 😊
@3riverspiperYTPC1792 the noise from the substances that took down the towers! I'm near sure if I write the word yt would hide the comment!
Great to see you, loved the video
Hello Doc, Thank you, & Great to hear from you, you were mentioned in Despatches on the recent Falcon Friday episode aired on the Professor's 'live'... Steve.
Happy new year! I wish you a great 2024 !! To you and of course dear Molly !!🥳🥳🤝🤝🎄
Thank you, and we wish you a Happy, Healthy & Peaceful 2024 😊🎸😎
Great video as always steve I'll certainly take a look at 1792 flake
Thank you Richad, I find a slow / gentle cadence for the best results. 👍
Will certainly get some 1792 flake yo try
@@bat00021558 Thank you Richad for your support and encouragement. Steve.
Cool
😎
I only smoke flake tobacco I think next time I order some flake I will try the 1792 that you reviewed.
I hope you get the same enjoyment from the blend as I do.
I hope so I used to smoke ribbon cut but I found it dries out to fast since I live in the desert 🏜. Plugs would be best to keep their moisture and flavor but it's more work to cut it my self so I have found that flake cut tobacco is best for me.
@@shawncarlile500 Wow, I am afraid I do not have any experience reference deserts, although , Samuel Gawith has a reputation for having a higher moisture content than other tobaccos, so , you never know, this could be just right ...Good Luck, Steve.
