"People don't say who they are, they do who they are." Powerful words
And yes, the "benefit of the doubt" needs to be checked when it comes to certain things :-)

I totally agree with you. Why should we burden others with trust? An expectation that they have to meet for us to feel safe? No trust is not necessary in relationships. It is up to us to trust ourselves, our own instincts to keep ourselves safe. Trust in others not required. Trust in ourselves absolutely necessary.

Wow, I've seen dozens of trust videos to find some kind of comfort or answer in this new relationship I've recently gotten into with my girlfriend, and this one hit the nail on the head. Best one I've seen with the most valuable advice. But my gut and body has been telling me exactly what she's saying, and she's sooooo right!!! Thank you, a million times!!!

This video is great! Such a necessary alternative to the videos painting wariness as detrimental.
I reserve trust for those that deserve it; I have a wealth, but I keep it for those who show themselves worthy, and I do Not give it out lightly. I've come to this position after 22 years of life; it's become readily apparent to me that many people can't handle the responsibility of trust, or are opportunistic, or just plain stupid or dangerous.
Thanks for the words and perspective. Subscribed. :)

I have trust issues / too too nice, and at first I felt bad for having them until I came across your video. Your video is a blessing for me! I needed to hear this now I know how to deal better with myself and others when it comes to my trust issues thanks so much for all you do and your straight forward from the heart wisdom videos.

Thanks so much for this video. I really needed to hear this today. I don't consider myself to be a person with trust issues, but if there's one thing I've learned in life, it's that the only person you can really ever rely on is yourself. Sad but true. It's confusing when you want to be loyal to nice people that you really care about. God bless you.

Yes! I find your style very charismatic and helpful. I heard it said, one's trust is a gift to be treasured and earned; not given away without warrant. This quote has helped me realize just how precious my personal life stories are and how easliy I gave mine away. Well, I am working on it. Your videos are genuine and attractive, and you seem quite intuitive. Thanks for being real and sharing your gift to remind myself and others what my bounderies are, no matter how I ignored them yesterday, and this is so important in todays selfish world, to honor and respectfully treat and protect myself, because it is more than an attitude, it is necessary, and a responsibility.

Excellent video, and the title alone is enough to be life changing. If you are not trusting someone, don't work to trust them, trust your gut and MOVE ON!

The Spritual Soul talking to you starts as a gut feeling, many times it's like a sick feeling.
It'll then move to the Chest Heart area, but the Mind will Always intervene, but if you want Truth Love & Light in your life clear that mind it'll confuse you and invent scenarios that haven't happened.
I was drawn to a stranger in the Gym who turned out to be a Shaman, and WOW after seeing him for the 1st time I couldn't NOT tell the Truth, and told my wife of 16 years EVERYTHING, but weirdly she was calm and listened for the 1st time EVER.
Since 8 months ago he's become a lived friend and my whole family has changed, from agnostics to true believers in the Universe and great sprit, it's a magical experience, I can truly feel when my Soul wants to speak now, it hits me in my chest and I just know to NOT listen to my inventive mind, but to speak truth.
Thankyou for your upload, and I pray your path opens up before you, and the Christ consciousness lights your way.
Love & Light Steve White horse.❤☀️🐎

Thank you for that video, really.
    I have trust issues.
When you said about that little voice that you weren't listening, the same happened to me. I was ignoring it, thinking "oh this is not good from me, i'm making a judgement over this person even tho i don't know him/her". Truth is that little voice weren't wrong. It is not judgement, but intuition, or spirits guide.
Now I do listen to it. When they tell me "be careful", I double my prudence, and believe me, I have what I call a powerful 3rd eye to see through people (litterally speaking).
You were so right about "all that glitter is not gold".
My biggest weakness in the past was to letting people entering to my field and trusting them because they were giving me affection and attention to screw me up afterwards.
Now, even the entire world could tell me "that person loves you", I wouldn't believe it until the concerned person prooves it right in front of me, and I would definitely know at that moment with my gut instinct.
I love what you say : "people don't say who they are, they do who they are". This is so true. Words are just words. Actions, however, say more than pretty lyrics made to put you in illusions in the goal to fuck you up or suck you dry afterwards.
Thanks again, really. You are a big help.

All so very true! You also don't treat people the way you'd like to be treated (giving blind trust). You treat people you don't know well like people you don't know well, in the context of trust giving of course. I think so many people get confused by that outdated 'golden rule.'

Good Point: I have paid the price of giving a not so good person the benefit of the doubt.
It costs. The price of the benefit of doubt is paid in stress, anxiety , loss of sleep.

It make totally sense... I thought I had a gift cause every feeling I had was almost right... And Sometimes I Thought I just had Trust Issues. But that feeling in your Body (I call it a bad Vibe) Is almost always right. I was blaming myself for some relationships but It make sense that their was something wrong with them and not myself Cause when I digged deeper I always found the answer for my feelings... Welcome to 2016

trust you?!?! i dont even KNOW you. i spent 7min watching another vid of yours but other than that, i have no idea what kind of person you are. thanks for posting this. great books about this- In Sheep's Clothing: Understanding and Dealing with Manipulative People by George K. Simon Jr.- George Simon has some really good vids on here about trust/manipulation/character damaged people etc. thanks again. one small problem that is going to lead lots of good non-manipulative people- like doesnt attract like- opposites attract- thats why if you are a normal person- "nice" which is slightly neurotic, you will attract character damaged people because they arent attracted to other character damaged people because you cant manipulate character damaged people easily if at all, neurotic people are the ones who are easily manipulated, so therefore you will inevitably attract character damaged people like a magnet fits with another magnet- not the magnet that is like it, but the magnet that is the reverse image of itself.

nice (adj.) Look up nice at Dictionary.com
late 13c., "foolish, stupid, senseless," from Old French nice (12c.) "careless, clumsy; weak; poor, needy; simple, stupid, silly, foolish," from Latin nescius "ignorant, unaware," literally "not-knowing," from ne- "not" (see un- (1)) + stem of scire "to know" (see science). "The sense development has been extraordinary, even for an adj." [Weekley] -- from "timid" (pre-1300); to "fussy, fastidious" (late 14c.); to "dainty, delicate" (c. 1400); to "precise, careful" (1500s, preserved in such terms as a nice distinction and nice and early); to "agreeable, delightful" (1769); to "kind, thoughtful" (1830).
